So you bought a new boat and will be getting a refurbished one . That doesn’t make sense to me . They should replace yours , fix the bad one and sell it at a reduced price .
@@TheOkayOutdoorsman I hope this works out in the best form for you . This was a very hard video to watch due to the aggravation it causes . Skeeter should totally step up and replace your boat . You did your part in purchasing now they need to do what was agreed on and deliver you a new boat not a refurbished one .
@@user-xm8rf6ik7b Thank you, its been a painful experience. At this price point, and ANY price point, it should not be a problem. However, from everyone ive talked to, this is a common happening across all manufacturers (Skeeter, nitro, etc). Even worse? Theres another guy in my comments with the same exact issues, to the MEASUREMENT. Hopefully they help him too.
I feel your pain! My 2022 ZX-150 went back to Skeeter for fiberglass work on the back seat post area. I shipped my boat back with flush mount “POS” Humminbird Helix 5’s and 2 power poles. I also put the travel cover on and was hoping i would get it back. It took skeeter around 3 weeks to fix my seat fiberglass issue. FYI i bought mine in sept/october 2021 but boat model was a 2022. I will have to check my underside of the boat a little better.
@@mp5kfisher241 I will for sure, and as sad as it sounds, they had a brand new 2023 FXR21 APEX had visible fiberglass issues on the showroom. Which, again, is a Skeeter issue.
i just bought this 2023 zx150.. You mentioned that you should have caught some of this stuff doing the inspection. I haven't picked mines up yet. What should i check specifically?
@@TheOkayOutdoorsman I already noticed the wiring is not watertight.. the fiberglass soft spots is something that I'm not familiar with. Other than, that do you think that the boat is pretty good overall? I traded in an RT178 for this fiberglass option. I'm beginning to think that I should have stayed with aluminum boats at this point.
@@tyronne875 Oh i love the boat. Wiring is something everyone hates about skeeter. I recommend whatever connectors you absolutely hate, use marine rated self-soldering heat shrink connectors.

Sorry for all of the trouble you went through. I'm curious on n how things are going now? Any more issues?

Any news on your boat status?
Believe it or not, I got a call from Skeeter today. She’s done! Should be back in 7-10 days
@@TheOkayOutdoorsman right on glad to hear that
