I just got this guitar a couple of weeks ago and I like it very much. Great quality and sounding guitar. It's perfect for me! Great playing and tones brother.
Sounds like a top-of-the-line vintage tele. I could see gigging with it as a primary axe. Nothing remotely "budget" about its sound or its look. A deal!
I have American Fenders and Gibsons, and this is the guitar I play out AND at home almost 100% of the time. I did replace the stock pots and tone/volume knobs, but that was just for longevity's sake and for the feel of the standard-sized tone knobs.
This telecaster it's going to bring back that classic blues and 70's rock sound to spend some quality time and I liked a lot your style playing this guitar it really awaked me again to get back my fingers on it, just can't wait to have it
I've had both my MIC CV 50s Tele (butterscotch) and 50s Strat (two-tone burst) for years and still absolutely love them. Never let me down, great tuning stability, awesome feel. Absolute bang for your buck, I tell everyone!
I’ve long held a deep-rooted disdain for squire guitars, so it was tough looking for a standard Tele that was budget friendly without looking into these. I must say, I don’t know why I hated them for so long. Every review and video I’ve seen over the last few days finally brought me over the fence. Sounds amazing! I found a shop demo 50’s vibe today for just a few hundred bucks. I bought it. Can’t WAIT till it gets here!
Squire makes some el cheap guitars too, which is one reason people mistakenly hate them, but their classic vibe line IS NOT the el cheapo line. I have this guitar, and for 2 dollars you can put an Orange Drop capacitor in it and get nice wide tonal variations using the treble knob. It's a freakin' 5 minute mod and its super easy to do. The ONLY reason I buy American made guitars is to keep Americans in a job.
Squier bullets are the bad ones and also the cheapest. Affinity slightly less cheap but still not overly amazing. But the classic vibes and contemporarys are very nice guitars
Nice guitar. Sounds good and your playing style is nice. I use a pick and notice a lot of Tele players will use a finger picking style like you. I should break free from my rut, and try a little finger pickin style. It really sounded great!
74dart man I use a thin pick its just my style for twangy sound picking with your fingers is better i think any way nice riffs and such a beauty of a guitar
I'm the opposite. Playing with a pick bothers me. I guess we've all developed our own style. It's nice to change things around and experiment. I've tried to use a plectrum for the last few weeks trying to get used to it. It's slowly getting there.
Great demo. I wish everyone reviewed guitars as well as you. Nice playing, too! I, as well, own one of these. The playability is unlike any other guitar I've got. Action is great.
thanks for giving classic vibe an honest review with playin skills too...I've owned a tele, a few strats, but found im more of a tele guy, and they've all been cv...the quality is kinda confusing in the market huh? like how can squire be so good?...I could express my opinion but it would be complicated and long cause I've understood Fender for decades and know why some guitars cost sooooo much and understand why the classic vibe line is putting out such quality instruments at such a good price point....squier rocks!!!!...
I sold my Squier Strat classic vibe, and regrets it. fantastic guitar and value. Now I'm shure, the next one is goin to be a telecaster, classic vibe ofcourse. Great guitars.

Great video. I bought one of these. Then I thought I needed a more expensive one so I bought a fender performer... but got the bug and bought the professional II also. The classic vibe sounds just as good or not better... not same tone but great. None of my three telecasters sound the same actually. I always think about selling my CV thinking I already have expensive fender I've but it sounds too good to sell,.. and has it's own unique voice that is exceptional...

Just got one of these! They are really nice playing and sounding instruments. The only flaw I could find was that the chrome/metal hardware seems really cheap? I'm in a dilemma especially since I'm on a budget.
Yeah man I got 2 CV strats 50s and 60s and a tele custom. Real great guitars ! I love "em !
Which CV strat is the best for you?
@@faridcantadormido2318 Ihad a candy apple red 60s CV strat that i sold after getting an e series Japanese strat which is a great guitar. Luckiky one wek after selling the CV I found someone selling pickups from one, so I put them in the Japanese strat. Now its a perfect guitar !! I also just sadly sold my 50s cv strat white with gold anodised pickguard. It is a lovely guitar in everyway except the skinny necks on CV guitars. I now have a 1983 Tokai Goldstar Sound in candy apple red 50s style and a 1980 Greco Super Real 50s strat in 3 tone sunburst copy of 58 strat. I have a 60s tele custom that I have an Allprts fat neck on it with a Filtertron in the neck, its a fantasic guitar. To be honest these CV guitars are close to quality of the great 70s and 80s Japanese made guitars ! For much less money !!
