The setup for the main story is quite clear! We're going to the outer ring to chase down Perlman, their escape goat has ACTUALLY escaped.
From random encounters with Piper and Lucy, you can find out in advance the names of the other members. So far we got Piper, Lucy, Burnice (girl) and Lighter (the 1 guy)
The rebel 'army' you came across is similar to the ones in Soldier 11's quest. Essentially, there are various rogue/rebel military soldier groups roaming around. This particular rebel group was commissioned to hijack the airship, presumably in an effort to kill Perlman and possibly make a new "Sacrifice". Given Sarah's confrontation with Perlman, she may know something about the Sacrifices.
Also it's unclear who Victoria Housekeeping serves (or is currently serving), but you've probably known that they're different from the group behind the Sacrifices. The ending there was basically Lycaon and Co trying to figure out whether or not they had to divert your attention away/convince you to stop investigating (maybe for your own safety?) or collaborate.
17:00 The only lore we know about the Thirens is that they naturally have a much higher resistance to ether then humans and are physically stronger as well. Ellen for example has to really careful when swinging her tail around because its strong enough to break bones just moving it normally.
I'm just glad, for the most part, there doesn't seem to be any discrimination against thirens that you normally see in other media.

Nice video guys! Yeah, Victoria Housekeeping being in the know was an interesting twist. My hope too, is for the next major chapter to be going after Pearlman in the Outer Ring, while hopefully getting involved with the biker gang, the Sons of Calydon.
Interestingly, the Calydonian Boar is from Greek myth, and was a monstrous boar sent by Artemis to punish the Calydonian region of Aetolia because its king didn't honor her. A great many heroes gathered to hunt the beast, but it was the huntress Atalanta who slew it. Curiously, Atalanta was raised, more or less, by Artemis. I'm curious if the bikers will take any cues from the myth. Lucy sorta fits one of the tales of Atalanta, where-in the Huntress is the daughter of a king and abandoned in the wilds. Granted, Lucy also fits the standard 'rich girl rebelling by becoming a delinquent' trope as well.
Another thing to note, related to the Sons of Calydon, is Billy. More specifically, Billy's jacket. On the back of it is the design of the bikers' faction symbol. You can see it pretty clearly at 1:54:49, as Billy hears Perlman get away. Makes me wonder if his old boss, talked about in Billy's character teaser video, was a member or former leader of the Sons of Calydon.
The Ballerina Twins when first learning to fight them, imo, felt like such an unbelievable difficulty spike compared to Butcher and that machine hybrid guy dude. Even now I still find myself on a slight defensive with them comparatively out of fear of one wrong move ending in a very injured agent.

I forgot exactly where i heard this but iirc, a fun little fact is that Thirens have higher ether resistance than normal humans so they don't get corrupted as fast but if they start getting corrupted its much faster than humans, but their recovery is also much faster
also a more simplification on how to see who is a Thiren, anyone that isn't your standard regular human is considered a Thiren, if im not wrong

If Hoyo ever makes a game with all the characters, I would definitely play Corin, Collei, Sucrose and Huohuo in a team... not only are all of them similar personality wise, but you would have a melee, a range, a crowd controller that buffs and a healer. That would be the scariest scared comp of them all 😂

Team would also be good with their element variety (Wind/Anemo, Dendro & Physical).

ALSO! I meant to mention! It's been a theorized "head cannon" as people aren't sure if Hoyo purposely did it. But people are fairly certain Ellen is hypoglycemic, which basically means, yes, she needs to keep her sugar up often cause she has trouble keeping energy stored up, and too much energy spent too quickly, which is horridly easy for her to do, results in passing out.
I'm under the impression that Hoyo or at least the team that makes ZZZ are just really playing into Ellen being a shark. Relatively solitary hence why she didn't show much interest in the clubs in her teaser, the fact that she can eat basically anything because sharks aren't exactly picky eaters and the fact that most sharks need to constantly have water flowing over their gills or they'll die thus making it really hard for them to sleep hence Ellen always being so tired and low energy
@@blad3thompson It could also be a mixture of both ideas. It'd be a little cruel for a Thiren who has the body to spend most of their time on land to be punished for not using the gills they just so happen to have. She could also just be a low energy person in general, as nothing's really confirmed so, bleh~
@@v-possestudios1132 I was merely saying that Ellen is always tired because she might not sleep well at night (likely do to going to school and working all the time) kinda like how it's tough for sharks to sleep IRL

ENDGAME: The endgame mode that I know of are: the Hollow Zero & the Shiyu Cleanup something something domains. Both are at the Scott Outpost. So, if you want endgame challenge, it's the place to go. I think you've unlocked them.
Hm or have you? Idk man, my gameplay and yours overlap because I usually played Hollow Zero while watching your vid lol.
Anyways, the final boss at the second difficulty whooped my bottoms haha. It was fun though. So now I'm starting the unending battle against the real final boss of all Hoyo games: artifact farming.
The war flashback is strong with this one. Dang discs giving me flat substats all the time hdakfsbksfb I don't want flat def & hp substat, discs! 😭

Am I the only one that got Sebastian from Black Butler's "I'm simply one HELL of a butler," vibes from Lycaon when he talked about the military grade transmission device and played it off saying that to Victoria Housekeeing that was just common knowledge?
I was a little upset with myself with how easy they were having, till I realized they always had challenge mode off, so they had the easier battles, it made so much more sense.
Though, still fun to watch.
1:55:04 I think it was lost in the translation, but Pearlman woke up early thanks to being shot the same anesthetics last time and apparently grew a drug tolerance.
One other thing because I don't know if you are actually aware of this. It is true that trust events just randomly pop up, but to really build trust fast (after getting a new char for example), you have to proactively invite them via Knock Knock messaging. Especially for a MainDPS like Ellen the additional bonus Resonia is quite strong + it's also just fun to have more things available during Hollow exploration.
Some of them (like Anby or Anton) are easy to build trust with because you can invite them and they also appear quite often on their own... but others (like Soldier 11) need to be focused in regards to invites because otherwise it would take ages for you to build trust with them. I'm Inter-Knot Level 46 right now (with only a few quests left) and have everyone (except Koleda, Rina, Grace and Nekomata which I don't have) on max trust already because you can really push that hard if you invite the right people at the right time. You can also waste your 3 invites by inviting people that have an active trust rank-up event (which can appear after a circle is full) going on, so try to not invite people with full circles and also try to complete the trust rank-ups sooner than later. This is not super important, but also not irrelevant, that's why I'm lowkey backseating here a little. Oh, also, with regards to Daniel's comment at the end about the quest text and building Inter-Knot Level - I think that just acts as a "warning" to not immediately abandon your account after chapter 3. The text doesn't disappear at 40 and I still have it at 46, so it's just there to remind you that you should still build your account (meaning characters etc) I suppose.

@@galonski64 Yeah, that is true, but I think Soldier 11 can only appear in the evening and at night while Anton for example can pop up anywhere, so it at least felt like a much smoother progression because I never really had to wait for him to appear.
