I'm seriously trying to feel all the feelings that you have felt- nostalgia, creepiness and so on but I just can't. Is it has something to do with me not being American?
Not being American could definitely be the reason. Most of these pictures depict places that Americans find very familiar, and are often places we remember from early childhood. For example, I very specifically remember being in a playroom that was almost identical to the one at 1:00, when I was very little. I think we Americans sometimes forget that people from other countries have had completely different childhood experiences in completely different settings, and just assume that everyone has been to a store like the one at 3:10, or a park like at 4:05, or a mall like 2:35. Maybe if there was a compilation of familiar places from your country, you would feel similar emotions.
