When I started parkour in 2007, I'm pretty sure the only people in the world who had been training for 8 years were the OG French guys. I couldn't imagine then where I would be at in my training eight years later...and now I'm here and parkour is still as fun and fresh and new to me now as it was then. I still feel like I'm learning every day and it's incredibly rare that a day goes by without at least a little bit of training. Parkour has evolved from a passion into a lifestyle into a life and I'm looking forward to seeing where the next eight years pursuing this beautiful beast will take me.
Now a bit to say about the video...my training has changed a lot this year. I've been focusing a lot more on speed and practicality, and I wanted the first part of the video to reflect that. I'm not as fast or strong as I'd like to be, but then again I guess no one ever really is. The important thing is I'm trying to get there! The second part of the video is more of the usual training shenanigans...I was able to knock out a bunch of jumps this year that I'd been looking at for years (plural) and never been able to try, so I'm pretty proud of the mental growth I've gone through lately. I guess some things just take time and dedication!
I'd like to thank everyone who has inspired me this year through training, especially my buddies KnickerTease, Dolan Bakkar, Kaloom Powell, Brandon Speedy Gonzalez Dougl-ass, The Busterino/the real "Master G", Phily Dee(z Nuts), Cai 'How do you say his name' McWillis, EndJizz Miscenko, Juho Kuu (he'll beat me up if I say his name wrong), Joel the Egg Man, and Alex Shower. You guys are always getting me excited to do more stronger jumps and stuff :) Also, thanks to my parents for raising me to jump on stuff since forever. I appreciate the head start!
I'd also like to take a moment to plug a really awesome project I'm working on with KnowObstacles called iKnowObstacles: Water Crisis...check the link here (www.rockethub....) if you'd like to be a part of an awesome project that would bring parkour to kids in South Africa!
As always, thanks for watching guys...hope you enjoy :)

An absolute delight to watch! I feel like we would be the best training partners, bro! Next time you're in the UK, come stay with me in Bournemouth :) keep up the fantastic, dedicated training!
I still remember those days we started chatting through UA-cam 6years ago bro! haha.
8years and still going strong! Looking forward to seeing you again, your welcome in Denmark anytime! ;)
1:17 GATE VAULT ftw!
+LaFlairParkour 0:07 GATE VAULT!
Jackie Chan moves on point!
So smooth and fast, really amazing video Max.
Thank you for this :)
One day I'll tell my kids about how I was the first person to ever like the great Max Henry's eight year training video.
Jared hahah
The definition of being a strong athlete. That was way too sick. Everything was so cool to watch.
I have no words to say how much this guy is technical, and at the same time, very fluent , I hope one day to train with you and never stop being this humble guy and good people , hugs from Brazil! ^^
YES! Love it so much! Especially the speed run segment was awesome (that's something waaay too few people do). Let the countless rewatches begin!
Aaah..! That's awesome man! The best video I've ever seen in 2015 :)
wonderful video max!
That was amazing. Really, really amazing. You're one of the biggest inspiration out there, not just because you are a fucking monster at parkour, but your mentality about it and the way you keep evolving for a more refined, diverse and smart way of training, thinking not just in the cool things now, but also the cool things to come in the future.
Thanks for sharing, that was amazing.
Beautiful!
the second part of the video feels more like 18 years of training :D Stunning Max you are inspiration !
the video is perfect ! Starting with pure parkour was relly satisfying, and the freerun part was even more impressive so i never got bored. Your moves are really nice ! At the end we can see you have such amazing technics. I d love to see a bail video to see how you manage to land your fails or recover.
I usually bail like two or three times in a year haha so it wouldn't be a very long video :P
that s a nice thing to hear :) usually other tracers say me that it s a casual thing to fall in parkour, however i don t like their philosophy
Wow landings is so awesome , gonna work so hard to get it
great stuff.
Reminded me of the old parkour videos loved it man your power and control is so on point best video iv'e seen this year!
Dude, you have some incredibly smooth runs! And your tricks are so clean. The opening 2 minutes were some of the best (true/original) parkour I've seen in a while.
1. One of the cleanest movements out there. Nice stuff.
2. THAT BREAKING BAD SONG
This video is still so motivating for me. I am training parkour since 6 years now and looking forward to make as good progress.
keep on moving!
Remembering first meeting and training with you and looking at you now is a pleasure! Amazing movement as always!
Always enjoy your videos, you never cease to amaze me, its nice to see someone who trains the main aspects of parkour and freerunning, small tekky movements, flowy lines, power movements, flips and tumbling, and having everything squeaky clean.
The amount of details in this is killing me, I probably have to rewatch this 2234358943 times
Yes! So nice to see you moving bro! You're way cleanner than the last time i trained with you mate! Good job my friend
Love it man!!
