This video contains footage that has been filmed during october 2013 in Paris while we were training with Winston, a finnish traceur who was in Paris for some weeks, and also during the first week-en dof november 2013 where I stayed in Düsseldorf to train with german traceurs.
I've learnt a lot during these training sessions. I've learnt things which will change deeply and durably my way of training parkour.
First, I've learnt to look more carefully around me, and to pay attention to details, to such little border, to such iron piece that comes out of the wall, to such missing brick, well to anything I could use to train and play with. The landscapes usually appear to us in their globality, and we first see their most evidents contours and elements. We see walls and rails.
We do not necessarily see the missing brick, the door handle, the fissure, or the thin border which, though, are also parts of the landscape. Just as any new parkour practitioner sharpens the way he looks at his surroundings as soon as he starts practicing, and sees elements of the landscape that before that didn't appear to him (little walls, rails, etc), we should then make sure to keep sharpening the look we have at our surroundings instead of contenting ourselves with this first step.
The walls and rails that from now on appear to us don't stimulate anymore our imagination, as they don't require any effort from us, neither in the fact to see them nor in the use that the vast majority of traceurs will make of them. It's this tranquil habituation that we have to worry about. We should keep being in constant research, and keep looking with new eyes everytime to our environment even if it's the same environment-. Parkour isn't a dogma, but a quest, that's why it takes constant research process, and perpetual movement -not only outside of us, but also inside-. Now, a lot of traceurs, so proud not to be anymore "normal people" -as they often say it themselves to whom the architectural wealth of the city would escape, content themselves with this first step of the process as it's enough to flatter their ego.
Secondly, the surroundings always appear to us according the point to view we look at them from. In this way, if we look at them through the prism of the "basci techniques" of parkour, then we will see there catpasses to precision, armjumps, wallruns, and running precisions. While the difficulty resides, for the non-practitioners, in the action of detaching themselves from the utilitarian and normative use of the public space to which the socio-cultural learning leaded them, it resides for the practitioners to see the surroundings as they are, with everything they have that make them unique and distinguishes them from any other place, and to make sure not to see it as a random place where we will reproduce again and again these same techniques we use at any time in any place. In order to see what more we can do with what we have, we have to be able to approach the places with a mind free from the usual expectations of the practitioner (catpass to precision, armjump, etc). It is certainly not an easy thing to do, at least as hard as it is, for the non-practitioner, to see the city as a playground. But this is what it takes for those who would like to place themselves in a long term research process, and not cease to surprise themselves every time they train. It takes an intellectual effort, and an increased attention we pay to our sensory perceptions. In order to make it possible, we have to "pay attention to pay attention"...

I have some favourites, of course :D But I would really like more people to see these vids, cause some of them are not just amazing, but super important too, seriously
I think most of this stuff should be shown at school, you know :D It gives such a great idea of what Parkour really is :)
The real Art of Motion
This is so dope!!!!
LaFlairParkour omg Jesse la flair
fun fun fun fun!
Love videos like these. They often inspire me more than the big flips-n-gaps videos. Lovely movements for sure
That's Tactics! Often overlooked during training sessions. It is the junction of fitness with the technical condition: create different situations to be resolved. Congratulations to all involved in the video, it must be shown to the whole world so that people understand what Parkour is about movement and not just motion
Thee best video I have seen in a long time, this will go down with the founders videos in history
it's a once every year comeback. movement. it helps me remember the beauty of the beginning
So many out of the box movements and things I never wouldve seen, this was such a learning experience. Pleasure to watch, cant wait for more!
Merci.
This video helped me to remind one really important rule. That the beauty hides itself inside the small things, not the big ones. Thank you :)
This is where I want to be eventually. Such inspiration here. You've got to stop and look at your surroundings and see beyond the basic movements and set challenges for yourself as to what you can do and what can be done, and try to go there. The creativity in such simple movements and pushing them to a higher level.
now THIS is some good ol' parkour, fluid and precise. more videos should be like this instead of the super flips or extreme stunts that's in the mainstream
Anyone can appreciate flips and tricks. It takes another Tracuer to really understand the strength and power in pure parkour. If everyone did this, it would be difficult for them to make a living off of it because to the untrained eye pure parkour is; people acting like kids. Sad but this is the case in almost all situations.
Best Trainning Types for me i was trainning this around 2011 discovered this from Traceurs elements videos and almost forgot about this amazing trainnings because of all fliping videos around you inspired me guys to go back to it
These guys could easily run away from cops and bring "the floor is lava game" to a whole new level!!
and survive the zombie apocalypse! Don't forget that!
They could do some backflips !
"Floor is Lava" just hit a whole new level.
Das beste Parkourvideo, das ich lange gesehen hab. So stark!
Amazing parkour video. This is the kind of inspirational video I have been looking for after years of 'big stuff' show reels. Good technique and strength
as someone who wants to get into parkour but can't take much impact due to health issues, this video is really inspiring. and an oldie but goldie as well
L'1consolable, jamais rien à dire toujours parfait, ça fais honneur au Parkour ça au moins!! J'adore, continuez
Just shows that parkour doesn't have to be big stuff. This showed more skill than most videos released nowadays. Well done. Great movements. Thank you for an enjoyable 7 minutes
Probably the best true parkour video ever made!
Vraiment trop d'la bombe !!
They should take part in Art of Motion!!
Wow, this was incredibly impressive -- you have great flow and great control over your body! Keep up the excellent work. :)
The level of fluidity in this is awe-inspiring and beautiful!
thanx a lot man, the movement ,the ideas and also the article are great, they've glittered some question marks about my routined training and also showed me a very creative perspective of parkour :)
can not say how much i love this. this is true love for parkour
so parkour is a combination of two games I played as a child. Monkeybars and lava!
Wow this was amazing! I really enjoyed watching this. Pure parkour!!
This really captures the effortless flow that parkour is supposed to be... flow like water! Nice stuff!

amazing creativity, wonderful technique! great video guys!
Well goshdarn. I used to cycle up the main road past the Düsseldorf university to go grocery shopping when I lived in the area. Kept seeing some traceurs by that construction site... and here you are.
You guys take the flow to an other level. ^*^
You've inspired me to do so much more with my life thanks
They should have those kind of videos on the flow show!
I feel like these guys played a game called the floor is lava as a kid then just went on some next level Shit
Really nice, that scaffolding looks so sick.

you guys went from traceur to tarzan dude the movements these guys really show how much of an art this is, its more beautiful than gymnastics n stuff like that its true art
Wonderfulness...
100% Parkour 100% Créative = Perfect move
This video is really amazing! I loved training with everyone this weekend. Movement was great, we were so creative and productive. It was one of my best times in my parkour history, and thank everyone for that! Your music is really good and fitting, too. Love it! But at last a question: Why isn´t a Frontflip or a Human Flag in the Video? I think it´s one of the most important movements ;)
Ребята - вы дарите теплые чувства))))
