i left flirfield/sniperfield 4. game is fun but too many hackers and meta. always hardcore, i was the mf on cn faction with qbz flash hider no scope no grip still clowning on the frag shotgun flir aek g18 chuds. so when the last no mortar/ucav rush server was no more, i left.
Damn. I didn't want to rant, but here we are. I used to love BF4 for the sheer amount of having fun by fucking around. Now, it's all about ZouZou, VouZou and other kind of stuff... I dunno, I miss that blue-collar fun, where I could play like an average dude and not constantly suck phallic objects. It's only right that the older the game gets - the higher the average skill bar gets, true. But, I dunno... I'm tired, boss ;_; Lotta years ago, I simply bought a game, had some fun for an hour or two and then got off. And now, people unironically ask what game should they practice in to be PREPARED for the upcoming Battlefield.
As a above average stealth jet player the badmins can definitely ruin your experience. You will basically have no choice but to make new accs because they will start kicking you or giving you specifically time limits in aircrafts. Even still, I dont think I agree with you that the cons outweigh the positives. you assume that good anti cheat today remains good anti cheat. The reason BF1 and V will continue to be playable for now is because DICE added the new anti cheat in. I don't like the idea of having to rely on a corporation to, years after the lifespan, update a game out of the kindness of their hearts. Just like anything else with anti cheat, I am sure these measures will not keep the game hacker free forever. Maybe 2-3 years from now these measures will be obsolete. Will DICE come in to save the day? Is it even reasonable to expect a company to do that so long after the lifespan? So I hate elements of the rented servers but I truly believe they are the only reason we are able to play older Battlefields to this day.
@AceDEU EA is really Dumb they coulda made more $ making classic battlefiled's available and still supported I mean look at call of duty all there older titles still have online. I started playing around the battlefield 2 when it was a service called game spy
BF3 and BF4 is like Unreal Tournament 2003 vs Unreal Tournament 2004. Life can be good, but it can always be better.
