- Find out how to install new UPVC angle beads for plastering corners in older properties. The galvanised steel corners had completely rusted due to historic rising and atmospheric damp. Step by step tutorial.
Just bought my first flat and it's had condensation mould and rusted beadings, this my friend, was exactly the video I was looking for! Thank you :)
You are welcome, hope that all goes well for you.

Glad you think so, thank you for your support.
Good video I need to change ground floor beading as its rusty, did not know you can get pvc
Thanks, glad it was helpful.
Very useful. Could do with knowing if bonding/browning could be used instead of render, and I'm also curious what you were going to "finish" this with? i.e skim with multifinish or more render?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Browning or bonding can be used if the wall is dry enough, these stone walls are inherently damp so waterproof render is the best option. You can skim with multi finish plaster using two coats, I’m working on a video for that.
Hi, - This was a very helpful video. - Could I use Polyfilla instead of pink finishing plaster to finish off? Thanks.
You could but it might be hard to get a smooth finish without a lot of sanding. Thanks for the comment.
How to fix stucco that has chipped/cracked on PVC in small areas
We are needing to replace a rusty angle bead in our kitchen and are finding it difficult to source where to purchase the upvc beads from. Please can you advise where I can buy them from. Many thanks.
Hi, I have bought these online at a plastics centre, anywhere that does gutters will probably do them. Otherwise most builders merchants have them, sometimes you just have to ask the right question! Good luck
