I love the way those dogs mind you . Especially when you tell them hunt him up , they hit the ground running . The area you are working in right now is beautiful . It has to be a great feeling to be able to go out every day with your dogs and help take care of the cattle by controlling the dog population . Love your video's Clark just keep them coming because you do a great job making them
Again love ur work. Love ur dogs . My first dog was border collie black n white , patch his name was . I was about 14yrs old im 41yrs old now . I worked cattle , sheep , foxed an rabbits .
Love how the strategies to outfox the dogs have worked. Success at last to keep the numbers down. You have earned the admiration of all your regular viewers!
Great video mate....You do excellent work driving a 4wd..handling the 3 boys....using a 22 and filming...your a bloody one man band with the 3 amigos...Cheers from Sydney town digger.!
Good stuff Clarke, I’m in Scotland and I look forward to each new video you bring out, I’m glad that your getting to grips with this pack now. 👍🏼🏴
Thanks Clark for a great video. I used to do a bit of very amateur trapping up the valley when my hips and knees used to work. I see you don't worry too much about human scent around a trap. Is that because the dogs are so used to it. Do you worry about scent on the trap itself? And thank you for showing me the valley. So many good times.
My traps are always boiled and waxed, I handle them with hands rubbed hard with soil, chains and foam pads boiled clean as well. My dogs help confuse my human scent around the traps.
Try changing up your lure scent. Rotten fish, or maybe some chicken livers that have been left to ferment in the sun for a few weeks. It is amazing what happens when you introduce a strange new scent that they're unaccustomed too. Thank you for keeping the world up dated as to the goings on in your world.
When you do that, mostly what you will catch are the goannas. Watch the next series of clips for a classic example of how food based scents can be a nightmare
Smart dog makes the trapper think. It's all part of the game. You have the adapt to what's in front of you every day. Keep on keeping on. You seen Oliver Anthony @"radiowv" yet on UA-cam?
OMG CAN EVERYONE THAT WATCHES THIS AMAZING MAN PLEASE SEND EMAILS TO A THERMAL SCOPE COMPANY (A GOOD ONE ) AND TELL THEM THIS MAN CAN INCREASE THIER SALES HUGELY .SO THEY SHOULD GIVE HIM SOME TO USE AND PROMOTE ,THIS GUY DESERVES IT WAY OVER ALL THE SHOWMEN SHOOTERS .
Another excellent video. But glad it wasn’t a bigger boar with tusks as ya dog/s could’ve got ripped with no vests on. Anyway nuth’n happened so all good.
@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry thanks for the reply. I reckon you should do short videos of the pig hunting. Was unreal seeing the dogs bailing that big boar and having to shoot it with the 22 when the 223 jammed up. Do some shorts videos show the weekend warriors pig hunters how’s its done few border collies and a 22.
Geez i'd love to get my hands on your rifle stock and sand it back and restore it. I'll probably get bollocked for saying this though, that 22 is not actually a Brno
Haha mans not wrong.. im 30k down on top end thermal gear for my business but its money well spent. It's hard to get people to see that a pore man buys once & the broke sucker keeps replacing his shit
Those are leg hold traps. They don't damage the leg normally, just grip it. You usually can release non-target animals with no damage. The problem with the feral cats, dogs and pigs is that they are "surviving" on the backs of animal species that are actually supposed to be there...

nice job on the catch . they are smart animals .
Brandons jowls are starting to droop like Old Man Skunks, looking good.
Dedication to he’s trapping is to be highly commend well done buddy

By jesus getting those three terrors to sit at one time was a credit to you.
They should have done it without so many orders, will have to punish them by cutting back on their Dinky Dog treats. 🤣🤣

@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry exactly mate, be your own man.
I speak dog: "Dat waz fun...!" on the faces.
A credit to you sir.master trapper.❤
What to do ? You’ll figure it out!
A dog n a pig to boot, nice!
Ever thought of starting a trapping school ? You really understand those dogs . Great vid
Soon I will launch a new private side to our channel and maybe set up a training section.
Your collies were smiling more after the hog incident.
nothing like a bit of trot first thing in the morning
damn good dogs
Another excellent video. But glad it wasn’t a bigger boar with tusks as ya dog/s could’ve got ripped with no vests on. Anyway nuth’n happened so all good.
They seem to know which ones have the sharp bits. When you vest up a bailing dog, you often put them at more risk
Definitely a disadvantage having floppy ears with Skunk and Brandon about.
Are Wild Dogs and Feral cats use the same area?
How come you don’t use the paper on the traps anymore?
What 22 slugs you using ?
Still do when it is raining or damp conditions. Think this time it was CCI sub sonics

How far do the dingoes roam
One dog with a collar on to track it, went over 1500km through two States. Have seen a pack move 50km overnight.
@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry Bloody hell
@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry Thanks
They are not very large dogs and yet they cause so much trouble ?
Surprised than no high end thermal mfg, has not sent you one to try out. Maybe you should contact one.

I know, I know, but I spell it CZ 🤣 It would be great restored but it is a work tool. My Granddads Mark 1 though....
Do you just cut the throat of the pigs to bleed out for the scent

Those traps are illegal in my country. The police not only can fine you but sue you for animal cruelty! The animals are only trying to survive.

THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME TRAVEL WITH YOUAND SKUNK
Is there a bounty on your dog's.
