  • Buffing out hard water spots is one of the biggest mistakes people make. Use something like PMC instead.

    I couldn't see the water spots on the white trailer. It would be better if you could do a video on a dark color like black or dark blue. I believe it would show up better.

    What happens if it does dry on the surface before you can rinse? Warm sunny days are going to accelerate the surface drying

    Just used this yesterday on a windshield with major hard water spots. Had a Carpro Flyby kit but didn’t want to use it and deal with the glass polish mess. So tried PMC. Just a little on a microfiber and it came right off.

    Hi Jimbo, have you tried this to remove bugs? or would you recommend something complety different for that?

    • @autodetailingpodcast
      @autodetailingpodcast  5 місяців тому +1

      It does work really great on bugs too.

      @@autodetailingpodcast great! I just got tough as shell delivered a couple days ago, really regret not throwing a bottle of magic cleaner in the same shipment to try it out but definitely will next time, then the gallon version in the future may replace my APC all together as I only use if for cleaning wheels, tires and for removing bugs. I use another product as "strip wash" instead of my usual APC.
      Another question, I know you state in the description it doesn't have any harsh hydrofluoric acids, which is great, but do you still need gloves when using this or nothing will really happen if it gets on your skin?

      @@victor4091 Its not 100% needed to wear gloves, but TBH I always recoomend it no matter what products you are dealing with.

    Can I apply hard as shell over Dr Beasley bead maker. I applied it before your product came out. 😅

    Would this work on a coated vehicle with water spots and leave the coating intact? Or will it strip the coating?

    • @autodetailingpodcast
      @autodetailingpodcast  5 місяців тому +1

      It depends on the coating. But I’ve done it and most of the time they coating stays in tact.

      @@autodetailingpodcast good to know, and was that at the 4:1 dilution like what's ready to use in the 16oz spray bottle?

      @@kirkwilson5900 yes.

      @viperrcr 5 місяців тому +1

      @@kirkwilson5900 IMO if you want to stay on the safer side, try diluting it further like 6:1 or 8:1 to see if that does the job and would be easier on the coating.

    Acid is so misunderstood when it comes to detailing.
