Nothing swings and strikes like a vaughn and its american made baby, ive had die hard Milwaukee and dewalt guys go and buy vaughn because they love my hammer more
I actually bought my first Vaughn ever about a year ago it’s a 16 ounce wooden handle and it’s the most solid hidden hammer I’ve ever used and with the wooden handle it slides easily in an out of the holster. Best 40 bucks ever spent. But that’s my siding hammer are use my stiletto when I’m doing any type of framework
@@projectpat2262 I have a 23 ounce framing hammer I use I actually bought one about 15 yrs ago and after beating the day lights out of ½x4" lags for 13 yrs it finally called it quits on me lol, but I went down and bought a 19 oz hart and then a 21 oz Dewalt and liked em both but eventually found another 23 oz vaughn and went back to beating the hell out of those lags again, but I use mine for line work and I agree it slides in and out of my climbing belt super smooth almost like they where meant to go together lol
I mainly do metal siding and roofs. On old barns if you look at my other videos you can see. I don’t use these for driving in much just beating nails out of sheets of metal. I like the claws on these last two Milwaukees they stand up pretty well and stay sharp as well. Unfortunately I the no ring claw on the 28 oz is defective. Used the mf all day doing the same thing I always do and it rang all day long. So annoying. I’m probably going to end up with an estwing. I like the Vaughns but I’m not to impressed with the claws. They look like they are thin
@@StrictlyPoultry we use them to pull out ¼" lags out of power poles when we are taking down risers and I've never had a problem but different strokes for different folks lol, this is a funny convo because my co-workers and crew argue about who has the best hammer and even named our hammers as dumb as that is lol
My Stanley fubar
I use these bad boys every day almost. They are great hammers.
