❤❤❤ The thing that has made the biggest difference for me has been including retinol into skin care routine. Also learning to give yourself grace and not compare yourself to others. I know it's easier said than done, but everyone is beautiful in their own way and we should lift each other up instead of trying to have these unattainable videos and pictures that have been edited so heavily thrown in our faces making us think something is wrong with us. ❤❤❤

I have oily skin and the one thing I’ve noticed that’s significantly improved my skin was hydration, inside and out. I recently had hyperpigmentation around my jaw line and having added extra layers of moisturising serums (Innisfree Green Tea Serum with Hyaluronic Acid Serum) with extra layers of hydrating toner really helped. Of course not forgetting about eating nutritiously dense foods whilst also treating myself once in a while Loving that the giveaway is international Xx

The one thing that has made the biggest difference for my skin is consistently drinking more water. I used to only drink half a liter a day and my skin was super unbalanced (dehydrated and dull). But after consistently drinking 2 liters a day, my skin has improved in both texture and bounciness.

The biggest way to care for myself is to prioritize me. Which sounds so basic, but without thinking hey I need some time to relax. The hustle and bustle of motherhood and working just overwhelm and take over! And when I prioritize me I get extra time to do a long skincare process and sheet masks!

I have been using VT reedle shot 300 for a month now / it is great and definitely improves my skin✨
I am drinking matcha daily - it was Fel’s suggestion in one of videos that motivated me to do it. I like the taste and it replaces one cup of my coffee🤭🤩

I don't know what would I do without kbeauty! Ever since I started using it my skin got better, I don't have as much breakouts or pimples and I got rid of oily skin. I try to keep it simple and rotate actives in a week such as vitamin C, retinol, ginseng, azelaic etc. Ever since I've learned about VT Reedle from your channel has become a dream for me because I can't find it in my country and I really think it would be the holy grail for my tired skin. As for inner beauty I practice gratitude even for simpliest things such as a warm, cozy, soft bed at night thinking I am lucky that there is no war in my country and I have a peaceful place to sleep

Checking the ingredients list, sodium DNA (PDRN) is the very last ingredient. The essence is more ginseng than PDRN, which is still great, but it feels a bit dishonest to market it as high-content PDRN.

    • @julynwinkelman8284
      @julynwinkelman8284 Місяць тому +9

The size of DNA and RNA is comparably small compared to the weight and size of other ingredients. Since ingredient lists are organized from component density and volume (greatest to least) i wouldn’t say it’s dishonest of the company. There might be quite a bit of the dna or rna solution but it’s still so much smaller in molecular volume in comparison to water, glycerin etc.

Also, just an FYI, I don’t think that Korea has the same standards with labels in terms of highest to lowest in a particular order.

    • @remi-hp7gf
      @remi-hp7gf Місяць тому +11

@@julynwinkelman8284 I understand that concentration isn't everything, a lot of peptides are effective at 1-10ppm. But VT's PDRN complex is only composed of 0.5ppm sodium DNA, the 'active' component, which is around 0.00005%. A lot of their marketing surrounding the product touts it to be high-concentration, they specifically emphasise that the PDRN complex (complex being the key word) is 100,000 ppm, as reflected in the name PDRN 100. It's a common Korean cosmetic marketing tactic. I'm fine with the PDRN being a low percentage, the ginseng and overall formulation seems really good, but just like to point out the discrepancy. But thank you for letting me know about the molecular weight, I did not consider that! I hope the brand can clarify this soon.

    • @remi-hp7gf
      @remi-hp7gf Місяць тому +2

@@MsGoodyTwoShoes I believe it is largely similar to EU/US laws - listed in order of concentration, but after the 1% mark the order does not matter. They did recently revise the cosmetic laws on extracts, so I'm not too sure if it's still the same

Just want to share that I love your videos and they have really helped me in my skin care journey. Growing up I had really bad eczema and had such a hard time maintaining a healthy skin barrier and I'm so happy that I've finally found what works for me!
    Tips:
    1. Besides keeping yourself hydrated and making sure to exercise, remind yourself not to touch your face throughout the day because your hand can carry a lot of bacteria.
    2. Try your best to follow through with removing your make-up before sleeping and doing your skin care every day.
    3. Always make time to de-stress and do the things that give you peace! Personally, stress is a big factor when it comes to breakouts and dry skin.
    4. Don't be pressed to follow all the beauty trends because sometimes what works for others won't work for you. Choose products that cater to your needs.
    5. You don't have to break the bank to achieve your skin care goals. There's always an alternative so just be open to trying it out.
    :)

realizing more is not always better in any beauty routine--higher %s, working out, more serums, more etc--has been such a game changer. change and progress might sometimes be slower hills to climb, but that time will pass anyway so might as well do it and not damage your health by overdoing it! taking care of stress and anxiety levels by creating sustainable healthy habits (for me, working out, yoga, meditation, journaling, and spending time outside!) and listening to my body for what it wants, needs, and does not gel with have all been habits that have made some of the biggest differences inside and out on my mental, emotional, skin, and energetic health! what works for others might not always be best for you and that's okay, you are the driver of your life

Adding a very thin layer of mineral oil on my face after my night routine; my dehydrated dry skin always felt tight in the am before I started that. Also, drinking green tea has definitely helped keep me hydrated as opposed to drinking too much coffee.😊

I have recently started skincare. It's been 2 years and I can say it really helped my skin and made me more confident. I would say keeping your skin and yourself hydrated matters a lot. My Personal Inner & Outer Beauty Tips for Transformative Skin Care
I began my skincare journey in 2019 following a suggestion from a friend. As someone with acne-prone and oily skin, breakouts often left me feeling insecure about my appearance. During my teenage years, appearance seemed crucial, and the comments from others about my skin only added to the feeling that my acne was something negative and shameful. This prompted me to focus more on internal and external self-care, understanding that true change begins from within.
My Personal Inner & Outer Beauty Tips for Transformative Skin Care
    Inner Beauty Tips:
    1. Gut Health Emphasis: I've learned that a happy gut contributes to clear skin. My diet includes a balance of nutrients from fruits, vegetables, and proteins, and I treat myself to homemade matcha lattes and gut detox juices. These not only taste great but also help maintain my overall health and improve my skin's appearance.
    2. Regular Physical Exercise: Incorporating Pilates into my routine has not only strengthened my body but also improved my skin's elasticity and radiance by enhancing blood flow and reducing stress.
    3. Mental Wellness Practices: Meditation, listening to subliminal, and using affirmations are part of my daily rituals. These practices help in maintaining a positive mindset and reducing stress, which in turn minimizes stress-induced acne.
    4. Emotional Self-Care: Writing and reading during my free time serve as my emotional outlets. By managing stress and anxiety, I help prevent stress-related breakouts and maintain a serene mind and body.
    5. Acceptance and Confidence: Now, although I still experience occasional acne breakouts and inflammation, I've developed a newfound confidence in my skin. While some people may still make comments about my complexion, their words no longer hold the same weight they once did. Over time, I've grown into a secure and resilient woman in her early 20s who understands that having pimples is a natural part of life, often influenced by hormonal fluctuations. It's a journey of self-acceptance and personal empowerment, realizing that imperfections are normal and not something to be ashamed of. Instead, they can become our greatest strengths as we learn to embrace and work on them.
    Outer Beauty Tips:
    1. Informed Product Selection: My journey started with understanding the importance of active ingredients in skincare products. I diligently research and choose products specifically designed for oily and acne-prone skin. Watching channels like Beauty Within since 2019 has been invaluable, particularly because I can relate to Felicia's oily skin type and see real results from the products she recommends.
    2. Tailored Skincare Routine: I've curated a personalized skincare regimen designed to address my current skin concerns. This routine includes a thorough double cleansing process, followed by the application of toner, ampoule, serums tailored to my skin's needs, a nourishing moisturizer, and daily SPF protection.
    3. Consistent Skin Monitoring: Regularly assessing the condition of my skin allows me to adjust my skincare regimen based on its current needs, which vary with changes in diet, stress, and environment.
    Community Engagement:
I am passionate about sharing my journey and experiences to inspire others who may be struggling with similar skin issues. Engaging with a supportive community through social media and forums like this has not only bolstered my confidence but also enriched my knowledge with additional tips and encouragement from others facing the same challenges.
Question: Can VT Reedle Shot help with acne scars? I've tried to research some but haven't tried it yet as I've focused more on healing my skin barrier. I also saw your videos regarding topics like incorporating retinol, tretinoin, tranexamic acid, etc. to reduce the appearance of it.
Skin type: Acne Prone and Oily Skin
    My Current Skincare Routine:
    - Cleansing Balm: Heimish All Clean Balm
    - Cleanser: COSRX Good Morning Low-Ph Cleanser
    - Toner: Round Lab Dokdo Toner
    - Ampoule: SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Ampoule
    - Serums: Alternating Numbuzin No.3 Skin Softening Serum (for Textured Skin) & Numbuzin No.5 Goodbye Blemish Serum Vitamin C (for Hyperpigmentation)
Eye Cream: Some By Mi Retinol Intense Advanced Triple Action Eye Cream
    - Moisturizer: Torriden DIVE-IN Low-Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream
    - SPF: IsNtree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel
    Holy Grail Recommendations I've used:
    - Cleansing Oils: DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, The INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm
    - Cleanser: PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide
    - Toners: HaruHaru Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner, COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner, The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7 Toning Solution (Multiple Use)
    - Essence: Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water
    - Serums/Treatments: AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum, Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum Propolis + Niacinamide, The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA, The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, The Ordinary Azelaic Acid, and many more.
    - Moisturizer: COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All-in-1 Cream
    - SPF: Fairy Skin Sunscreen
By continuing these practices and potentially incorporating new products like the VT Cica Reedle 100 and PDRN essence into my regimen, I aim to further enhance my skincare routine, particularly since these products offer benefits that align with my skin’s needs and are not readily available in the United Arab Emirates. This holistic approach to beauty-caring for both mind and body-has been essential in transforming not only my skin but also my overall well-being.

    Outer beuty tip:
Definitely a more delicate and effective cleansing routine.
In the morning i just use micellar water (bioderma sensibio is the best i tried -i used la roche posay, uriage and svr) in order to preserve the skin barrier.
I swiched out the cleansing oil in the double cleanse pm routine (i only use it after the micellar water and before the cleansing cream (la roche posay toleriane soin lavant) for stubborn eye make up) with micellar water that i use as first step with a spray bottle for the whole face while for lips and eyes i soak half a cotton disk.
Also i find a hydrating cream more effective than hydrating serums or toners ( neutrogena hydro boost gel creme keeps my skin hydrated till the next day).
    Inner beuty tips:
I check my face in the mirror less frequently and also further away just like a dermatologist suggested. I spend less time worrying and spend more time living. I realized the people that know me don't love me any less when I don't look my best.

The best advice I can give is stick to to products that work for you!! It's an amazing feeling to try new products (I KNOW) but do not replace those who work so well for you just because!
My holy grail products which have been with me for the last 3/4 years are The Skin1004 Centella Ampule, Klairs midnight blue calming cream and the Numbuzin Skin Softening Serum. All of them work like magic in my oily sensitive skin. Everytime i'm on my period my skin stops caring about me and the efford i put in but those produts do miracles in 1 week.
The last upgrade I gave to myself what supplements. I need to care about my inner as much as I care about outer body care. Vitamin C in the morning right after breakfast and Collagen at night. And I've been faithful to skin routine for the last 4 months. I know I won't see any changes in "tomorrow" but it's all about the long game.
Resume: See what works for you because we all know by experience that what works for one doesn't work for another.

The thing that has made the biggest difference for me was actually increasing my water intake. I have noticed this change especially in the winter time, where it's cold and I don't drink as much water as I would in warmer months. Trying to hit that 1 gallon of water daily has dramatically improved my skin. I have noticed it being more supple, hydrated, and overall brighter.

biggest difference to my skin was exfoliating regurlarly (BHA, AHA, tretinoin), hydrating the skin and using sunscreen every day no matter what (except my skin is really inflammed). Eating healthy: Avoiding artificial sugar, consuming veggies, nuts, olive oil, limited amounts of fruits, fermented foods inside and outside (in skincare), teas and more :)
Biggest lesson learned is to cut down on stress and find ways to destress as well. Also being less strikt on myself.
I had a burn out this year and currently still take a break.

Limiting dairy has helped with my acne tremendously. I unfortunately still get all the hormonal breakouts as a 30 something now and that is just unfair! I do also think that making sure i have some outside time has helped overall (with sunscreen of course).

Honestly what has helped ME is double cleansing to make sure no dirt is left behind as well as taking cold showers instead of scolding hot ones (it can damage your skin) it's a somewhat difficult change but after a while you will find your skin will thank you a lot

I started using a pdrn serum but results are cumulative w all of the other stuff I do: daily vitC/silicon supplements, red light therapy to get the serum to absorb, daily diet w homemade organic natto and kimchi, general healthy diet daily, low consumption of alcohol, drinking water/coconut water, regular exercise, daily sunscreen 50spf. I also just started bioID micronized progesterone and got the most compliments on my skin

Things that has helped my skin is a healthy diet (low sugar, low fat). For skincare, I use an AHA/BHA cleanser to control my acne, niacinamide for brightening, sungboon green tomato ampule to control pores/sebum and a hydrating collagen cream to help with wrinkles! Once a a week, i would use chemical exfoliants. I find that being consistent also helps a lot!

Besides exfoliating, using retinol and hydrating at night, and vitamin C and sunscreen during the day, I also take care of my skin and myself by doing other things like nourishing my body with a good diet (fruits, vegetables, legumes, and meat) and my mind with a positive way of thinking. Keeping a consistent routine, exercising regularly, and sleeping my hours, are some things I do to help my skin. Also, I love a good spiced tea blend. ✨✨✨

I heard there’s a VT Reedle Shot 50… Is it better for beginners than the 100? I heard (I guess from one of your videos) that each number might even do something different for your skin (even though it’s the same ingredient in different levels), so I wonder what the 100 can do that the 50 can’t!

This was so interesting! I've heard about the salmon sperm for skincare but didn't believe it lol😂
My tip for skincare is definitely hydration and food intake. Some people have skin to where they can eat whatever they want and it didn't effect it. But mine does, so watching what I eat helps. But more importantly is drinking alot of water! Also just getting into a routine. Those have helped me!

8+ hours of sleep is so important.

Inner beauty tip, having a balanced diet and taking supplements has helped me a lot.
Outer beauty tip, use more hydrating products than exfoliating products even if you have oily skin. Adding more hydrating products has improved my skin texture and made more glowy and radiant. So always remember HYDRATION>>>EXFOLIATION.

For outer beauty, it might sound silly but just washing my face and applying sunscreen daily has made the biggest difference for me.
In terms of inner beauty, I try to focus on my health and do a healthy dose of introspection weekly. It also helps to gate the things I watch for example not too much content focused on outer beauty but rather life skills and since I am a Christian spending time in the word of God and listening to teachings and encouragements.
