Last ones for awhile? Yeah, I thought I was getting into a less expensive hobby about six years ago because good drums, edrums, cymbals and percussion are expensive. I should have known, the better things in life are worth the money!
Not always. Not all good things are expensive. Fact: many of the "left overs" from other lower cost products are being reused and "re tagged" for this one. Bottom line: you paying more for some of the items being reused.
i think something else that needs to be added so people know, these qx 120s have leds on the front and back, so i cue will allow you to customize what you see outside, separate from what you see inside. as each fan has front leds and back leds. makes for some pretty amazing light shows.

Thank you for this video, great content. Love the excitement when you power up the system. I built a new PC after a break of about 15 years. Initially, it was just for getting work done but now I got lost in improving it aesthetically. Crazy how much one can spend these days wow.
Really appreciate you watching mate 👍 yeah it's nuts the aesthetics now for pcs are amazing but cost an arm and leg. I was genuinely surprised how bright they are compared to the older QL120S - thanks 4 the support.
Purchased the iCue Link H150i LCD to replace an older H150i two weeks ago. I am using a Corsair Obsidian Series 500D RGB SE case that sits to the right of my desk approximately 3 feet away from me. The pump for the AIO at the quiet setting is loud and many others are reporting the same issue on the Corsair forum. Forget placing the AIO pump on balanced or extreme setting. The sound level increases and the sound pitch gets higher. Long time Corsair user. Using there RGB ram, AX1600i PSU, PC case (mentioned above), Keyboard (K100 RGB), and Virtuoso XT headset. The noise at the lowest setting (Quiet) is still irritating since it is quiet in my house. I am also using 3 QX 120 RGB fans. As we know Corsair products are not inexpensive. I know there is a work around by adjusting a file to lower the RPM of the AIO pump below 2000 RPM but I believe that should not be the answer. Thinking I may have received a defective product I purchased another H150i and the pump noise is the same. Currently I am using a custom setting in iCue and placed the fans at 50% speed and it masks the noise from the AIO pump but now I hear the fans. I prefer the tone / sound of the fans over the sound of the AIO pump. Hopefully this helps others.
Got my two three pack fans/hubs on the way, and may have to upgrade my NZXT Kraken Z63 to the Corsair AIO too. Very nice system Corsair came up with. Love your case, got the same exact case and love it when the white LED lights are blazing! Thank you for the tips.
With the new 6500D case, it is possible to install up to 13 fans. This will require two fan controllers, each of which will occupy one USB 2.0 port. In terms of fan configuration, a setup with nine intake fans and four exhaust fans is generally considered effective in maintaining adequate airflow within the case.
One controller will do 14 fans BUT if you have an AIO you only want the aio and 4 fans on one channel if not it will be under powered. 13 fans with 9 intake gives positive pressure so lots of fresh air coming into the case so as long as they have dust filters it'll be fine - may just need cleaning a little more 😉
I do believe they have changed/ updated the cables included in the triple fan starter kit. A criticism from a few months ago was that the 600mm cable included was the straight edge plug end but now judging by your video they’ve swapped it to the 90 degree plug end. If this is so and not just random I would be very happy about this change as I literally have the triple fan starter kit in my bedroom as do I have the 360 rad AIO but I’m not opening it until Christmas next month 😂. Thank you for an extremely useful and helpful video 👍👍
@@TechCheckUK I’m just a bit cautious as I bought my sets from Amazon a few days ago so they might still be using the older dispatch of cables. I should have bought straight from Corsair haha. I have just messaged the seller on Amazon so hopefully they can tell me if they have included the right angle cable. I’m tempted to just buy 2 600mm right angle cables (one for AIO, one for fans) anyway and just return them if I don’t need them. It’s annoying I can’t just open the box and see for myself but I’m weird and I want that first initial grand reveal to be on Christmas Day 😂. Anyway thank you for your video it was super helpful 👍
Just got mine and can confirm they now include a 90 degree connection on the 60cm cable. They also include a really small cable with 2 90 degree connections on each end, which wasnt included in earlier reviews ive seen.
When following along with this video, I made the mistake of removing the intel brackets and replacing them with the amd ones, but seeing as i have an intel cpu it didnt work lol. It took a while for me to figure out what I was doing wrong, when suddenly I realised that I have the wrong cpu for the amd brackets, so I quickly ordered an amd cpu from amazon. Just gotta wait a few days for it to arrive so i can carry on with this installation!
I've been looking at videos before finally making the purchase of a similar setup (and a new case for myself). Thank you for this video as it's pretty much what I'm looking to get and it's nice to see how it will all work together. Now I can look forward to having less cables when it comes to fans 🤣
Thanks so much for this video. Really helpful to see the removal of the Commander Pro parts as this is what I am looking to do with my build. The only thing I haven't quite worked out is where I can plug my RGB LED strips. I have 4 daisy chained around the edge of the glass panel on my Corsair 4000x case. It doesn't look like there is a connector for them on the new link system. Guess they will need to be connected direct to the MB. :)
Love the simplicity of the QX’s! They look great. HOWEVER I don’t feel like remaking profiles for the new control box. That can take a while depending on how crazy you go and I go crazy 🤣. Staying with my QL’s
Hi mate just save your current icue profile to a flash drive and then upload that profile to icue - easy all done and no reconfiguring needed- appreciate you watching thanks 👍
I'm doing a case upgrade to a 5000d and I think my icue link gear will look slick in there. And a corsair sf-1000l to replace my rm1000x since I plan on keeping my hard disks
im in the midst of building a gaming pc! 4090, Icue H150 6 or 7 other 150m fans, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D GIGABYTE X670E AORUS MASTER AMD Socket AM5 AMD X670E HDMI EATX Motherboard etc.
I just purchased these same fans and water cooler! I already have an H150 but its not LCD and non "LINK". I also have the Lian-Li equivalent of these fans because these didnt exist at the time lol.. i would have grabbed these first if they did! Lian li are decent but the software is not great at all and i love corsair! Expensive upgrade though =X
Yeah mate u agree.i waited and waited for the corsair ones having worked with the lian li ones so many times - great innovation and 1st to market but I prefer corsair too
you must have goten one of the older packs of fans because the newer ones, all the QX fans come with cables in the box including the single packs! i know its pricey but honestly i do love my kit and its simplicity, plus they look amazing =D
Just ordered the Link H115i and a 3 pack of 120 fans - supposedly the 3 pack now comes with an additional short cable - here is hoping because I want to use one as an exhaust and two as bottom intake in an Asus Ap201 case. It was an expensive purchase!
Howdy cowpoke, this is Korean viewer here. Thanks for the video, but I have a question. Did you use the sleeved cables from Cablemod? I'd be very appreciated to know. Thank you.
Hello, Thank you very much for the video. I want to upgrade my fans from LL120 to QX120. I want to buy 7 fans for my 5000T case. Two packages of three fans with a controller and one more fan in the regular package without the controller. To connect all the fans will I have to purchase the Corsair iCUE LINK Cable Kit? Or alternatively I can purchase one more cable of 100mm or 200mm/600, will that be enough? I would appreciate it if you could answer me before buying
If you Buy 2 x 3 packs and a single fan you will get 2 x 135mm cables and 3 x 60mm cables and 2 x hubs - You need 1 fan connected to the other 3 via 60mm cable and then a 135mm cable to hub and then another 3 x fans and a 135mm cable to the other port on the hub so you don't need to purchase anything additional pal 😀 good luck there great and thanks 4 watching 👀 👍
I know mate but that's a topic that's been drowned on YT - Really easy just download icue from corsair ans install and then activate all in settings and it's all based on murals now so just 1 click for RGB and to add gifs or custom logos etc just upload on lcd settings - you can also set custom fan curves etc in AIO settings. Honestly just search icue setup and you will get some detailed vids 👌 thanks 4 watching I appreciate it 🙏
Only just come across this video mate, was meaning to ask in your last video how the Icue link install went for your own build. Wow those fans are stunning and the AIO display is next level. Makes the SL Inf 120 fans I have look dated tbh lol I know what fans I'm using for my next build 😂, bet your really happy with that mate. Merry Xmas to you and your family, and looking forward to seeing more videos in the new year 👍
Hey matt tge install was a breeze -10 times easier and was really fun tbh - brightness and control and ability to see actual information about each fan in terms of temps is brill too. Defo a huge improvement imo. Merry Xmas and lots more vids for 2024. Thanks again for all the support 🙏
@@TechCheckUK yeah looks the business mate, I always say you get what you pay for when it comes to PC parts imo, they might be expensive but they look fantastic, take care mate 👍
Hey than nice pc. Upgrade I just give my pc as donation with a value of 3k. And now I building my own as I know about Pc I buy those fans and radiator and wow video first I see to take a look and yep they look crazy good on white
I must say I really enjoyed watching the video and as I'm assembling parts for my new PC this video actually confirmed it for me that I actually should invest just a bit more money for this cooling system 100% Just have a quick question, when you mounted the CPU cooling you didn't use any Thermal Paste? or did I miss that ^^
@ChiefStyx 360 AIO comes with some already applied - I must admit I did change this a few weeks better though. Great choice over a year later and not one issue and I love it 😊 good luck and thanks for watching.
Corsair,Please check your mounting clips for AMD applications. The cooler says its for AM4 and AM5.When I tried to install on a Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2,the supplied AMD clips were not lining up with the standoff screws.I took a photo and showed it to Microcenter and they agreed its not fitting.I was forced to return it and went with a Lian Li 360mm AIO cooler, which cost more than twice as much😐
Ermm interesting 🤔 I haven't had this issue mate I've installed plenty on Gigabyte b650 boards without issue (allbeit not this board) Sorry you had issues. Thanks for sharing 👍
really like the look of the QX fans but why did they choose black stickers when they have other fans with white stickers that would look much better on these.
Yep that's correct if not icue doesn't detect the lcd in software. If you don't want to do that the screen will still work but you ant customise. Thanks 4 watching
I'm having an issue where I've got everything installed correctly, but the AIO pump will not turn on and work. My CPU will skyrocket to 100° because it's thermal throttling as the pump is not turning on and working.
Best video I have seen on the icue links. Do you need the radiator or can you just buy the fans. Reason I ask is because I already own a LCD H150i radiator non link version.
I wish they make a triple pack of the QX fans without the hub. I already have the H100i AIO and it came with a hub. Why would I need 2x hubs? Corsair should remove the hub from the triple fan pack and charge less. Make it more affordable.
Yeah by the time I purchased the AIO and 2 x triple packs I ended up with 3 x hubs - only needed one so I see what you saying and I agree. At least give an option 🙂
Nice review man. Do these Corsair Icue Link QX120 fans have removable fan blade? Like the Thermaltake Swafans, the fan blades can be pop out and clean. Since these fans are so expensive, would be nice if we can just pop out the fan blades to clean for long term use.
Hi Mate, If I have the 3 pack, AIO with 3 and then 2 additional fans. I need to buy a link cable right? I've got a LIAN LI O11 Vision Compact. What's the best way of wiring this up? 3 bottom to the 2 rear, into one side of the hub. Then put the AIO with the 3 fans into the other side?
Mine is the x670 asus hero - personally love it!! But expensive and there are lots of boards much cheaper but I love asus ROG. I would always go Asus then MSI then Gigabyte / Aorus. U can go with b650 or x670 or if you wanna go latest then that's x870 or b850. Depends on budget mate
So I got the h170i with lcd screen but icue will not pick up the lcd screen. It detects the aio block and all my qx fans. Also says there is a firmware update for link hub but when I update it I lose all my fans and everything turns red.
Awesome build. I just purchased this cooler minus the lcd whith 1, 3 fan kit for the bottom and another for the side and 2 single fans for the back exhaust along with a Lian-Li Dynamic Evo XL-X case. Do you think I would need a seperate cable kit to setup my case like yours ?
The single fans now come with the 60mm cables and the AIO already comes with 2 60mm and 1 150mm cable and then the triple pack comes with 1 x 60mm and a 150mm cable so you should be fine. It would be better to go with what you have and if you were short you can order that specific cable after. Regards
@@TechCheckUK Thank you! Love your take on pc hardware. Subbed!! Recieved all my parts today. The case is absolutely beutifull. Assembling all this as I type this. Hope everything works!. Wish me luck! 🙂
Hey! Thanks for the video it helped a lot for my first build. I test started the PC using the START button on the Motherboard, and the LCD screen on the H150i lit up but the fans did not spin or light up. Also, the 3 QX120 fans used at the front spun and lit up, but the 1 used for exhaust at the back did not. Everything is connected to the HUB. Can you please help me in this situation.
Hi, do you still use it on a daily basis? If so, what about the pump and sound problems that some people have experienced? Knowing that Corsair has just announced the iCUE LINK TITAN RX RGB AIO, would you advise me to wait for their release? By the way, when do you think they'll be released? Thanks in advance
Hi new to your channel & pc gaming, excuse my ignorance, how do you change the QX120 fans to exhaust or do you just turn them around ? One way is intake turn them around and exhaust?
Could I buy the 3 pack and put two intakes on the bottom and use the other for an exhaust? If so would I need another cable to link them all? Sorry building my first pc and trying to figure everything out lol
Does it need to be connected to the cpu fan header at all? If so, is that cable provided and does it come from the hub into the header or the pump into the header?
You can use wither the cpu header or pump header. The cable itself is a very thin 3 pin cable directly from the icue hub to the header on mobo. I like using the cpu header as it means I don't get any message on boot up saying no cpu cooler connected and I also don't have ro turn it off in bios.
So with this fan combination with the cooler, does this remove the need for commanders etc? I see you just daisy chained them and then straight into that new hub? Does that come with the cooler?
Yeah no need for commander pros or XT just the little Icue hub and off you go! Yes comes with either the AIO or triple fan pack - appreciate you watching 👀 thank u 🙏
In my NZXT H6 flow I can fit 2 140mm fans on the bottom. Am I better off buying those fans seperately with the expansion kit or should I buy the 140 duo kit for the cables ?
Why do you have the pump cables at the front? Wouldn't it look nice to flip the radiator 180 degrees so that you dont see them hanging down in the front like that?
Does anyone know the noticeable different between the elite xt and the liquid cooler he got? From advertisements I thought this one didn’t allow you to have gifs on, but you can. So what is the noticeable differences anybody??
Hi mate elite xt uses older fans and requires a commander xt to manage and run. Yes it does gifs and has a lcd screen. The new Icue AIO has easier cable management and newer connections with a new hub with far less cables too. Depends on the other fans you have or want to upgrade as the old ones can't be used with new hub - hope that helps 👍
@@TechCheckUKI had the feeling that was the case, my case fans are the QL120 and I was intending to use the radiator and cooler with my fans, I guess that would’ve been a bad idea so I went with the XT cooler
@Wesleyy-87 just make sure you plug in your usb c from radiator to icue hub too. Onr last thing too u need to ensure you connect the 3 pin onto cpu fan header
ok so i have a question your 3 set of fans came with a short cable and a long cable (short one to daisy chain the fans) (long one to connect it to ICUE hub) i look at other people 3 fan set unboxing and they dont get a short cable only a long one i found this odd could u please explain to me or do u only get a short cable with the white version of fans or what im just a bit confused. Did corsair possibly start including long and short cables recently?
Hi mate I would go for the corsair one - I must say I'm an asus fan boy but the corsair is cheaper and has better software via icue. The rgb is controlled much better and not as buggy as asus aura and the lcd doesn't suffer from any screen burn. Had both and the asus is a little quieter but bother perfom the same. My opinion is corsair but totally up to you mate 👍
@@TechCheckUK thanx for this. I boght corsair. now ı have msı tomahawk max wifi z790- this 14900k ıs so hot :)) in warzone , ı have 70-80 temperature corsair fan 2000rpm... ı need undervolting i thing :))) ı dont like this
Have you got a contact bracket to ensure correct mounting pressure? Bug issue with 14th gen mate - I would also say it shouldnt be higher than 70c my 7950x3d hits 61 max in games and 81 at 100% use
Each input on the link controller can do 14 fans. Personally I would have my AIO and 6 fans seperate on one input and the other 9 fans on the other input as the AIO power draw is much more than the fans and that way you can equal them out
hi mate, i have this cooler but i cant get the lcd display to turn on. new build. the fans turn on and it goes into bios fine, but then temps start to rise so doesnt seem to be cooling. any ideas what I've done wrong?
Have you connected the 2 pin cable from icue box to the cpu header on mobo? And have you connected the usbc from radiator to usb2 header on mobo? I hope you get it fixed mate 👍
@@TechCheckUK I fixed it about 5 mins after posting my comment haha. I was missing one of the cables that plug into the USB header on the motherboard. Working great now. Would've been lost without your vid so thanks.
How long do Aio coolers last for and are they prone to leaking? I'm stuck in the middle and can't decide on aio or be a fan boy as fans are more likely to last longer and easier to replace if they go wrong..
I've had some AIO last 5 years with no issues and I've had tower coolers last around the same I tend to upgrade after 3 years as sockets and cpu upgrades etc
Can you change the color of the ring and the fan blades separately? I'm thinking about these fans and the Lian Li Infinity ones and you can control the fan blades and outer ring separately with the Infinity, it would be a deal breaker to me with the QX120 fans.
Hi and welcome - it would go where all the other cpus go under the cooler, if that's not what you meant I'm not being sarcastic. It's a great cooler but there are much cheaper options out there
Can you mount the aio lcd the other way around? In every image I see the water tubes on the right. Could you mount it upside down and flip the screen via icue?
@@TechCheckUK Thanks heaps. It may be fine for me to use it in the normal direction I just don't want the tubes to go over my rgb ram and cover it. Thanks for the response!
@TechCheckUK cheers, Legend, in the middle of my new pc right now. fans are the final touch in the new thermaltake 300 its been interesting build so far
Have you got too many connected to the same input on the hub? Have you connected icue box with pcie power? Also ensure you have downloaded tge latest icue drivers mate 👍
@@TechCheckUK Thanks for the awesome review. I have been looking at these for a while and it's been tempting to pull the trigger. @alloftheexperts2111 haha I know I didn't on my ql120s either but 2 years later and they were hella clean lol - I appreciate it mate thanks for the support
No links as it comes with the icue hub mate and u should plug into pcie an 8 pin pcie cable - 2 of the pins just pull off and u connect the 6 pin to the 6pin

Fantasric job, Gareth. It looks absolutely stunning. Maintenance is certainly gonna be much easier for you from now on. 🙂👍
Thanks buddy and yeah 100% easier and it's lighter too. Thanks as always for the support
Got my two three pack fans/hubs on the way, and may have to upgrade my NZXT Kraken Z63 to the Corsair AIO too. Very nice system Corsair came up with. Love your case, got the same exact case and love it when the white LED lights are blazing! Thank you for the tips.
Appreciate u commenting mate and glad u liked it the fans and AIO is amazing and I couldn't be happier- good luck with yours too 👍
With the new 6500D case, it is possible to install up to 13 fans.
13 fans with 9 intake gives positive pressure so lots of fresh air coming into the case so as long as they have dust filters it'll be fine - may just need cleaning a little more 😉
Got my pre-built PC with i9-14900KF and 4090 a few days ago, and it has this Corsair iCUE LINK H150i RGB White. I gotta say I'm so in love with it all
Congrats mate 👏 nothing like a new pc thanks 4 watching 👀 👍
❤️❤️❤️
Cheers 🍻
I do believe they have changed/ updated the cables included in the triple fan starter kit. A criticism from a few months ago was that the 600mm cable included was the straight edge plug end but now judging by your video they’ve swapped it to the 90 degree plug end. If this is so and not just random I would be very happy about this change as I literally have the triple fan starter kit in my bedroom as do I have the 360 rad AIO but I’m not opening it until Christmas next month 😂. Thank you for an extremely useful and helpful video 👍👍
Yeah good change and makes it look so much better. Great Xmas presy too may I add. Thanks 4 the comments and support
@@James-fv1cm more than welcome 🙏
Just got mine and can confirm they now include a 90 degree connection on the 60cm cable. They also include a really small cable with 2 90 degree connections on each end, which wasnt included in earlier reviews ive seen.

Yes looks very nice indeed ! …specially with that 4090 strix in white !
Thanks buddy I love it 😀
When following along with this video, I made the mistake of removing the intel brackets and replacing them with the amd ones, but seeing as i have an intel cpu it didnt work lol.
It took a while for me to figure out what I was doing wrong, when suddenly I realised that I have the wrong cpu for the amd brackets, so I quickly ordered an amd cpu from amazon. Just gotta wait a few days for it to arrive so i can carry on with this installation!
So you have a intel CPU and you have bought a AMD one now 🤔 just checking what about mobo u have?
I always leave my 12vHPW connector in my 40 series card. You only get 30 connect and disconnects, at least that’s what it’s rated for
Nice yeah important that your not just connecting and disconnecting for no reason.
I've been looking at videos before finally making the purchase of a similar setup (and a new case for myself). Thank you for this video as it's pretty much what I'm looking to get and it's nice to see how it will all work together. Now I can look forward to having less cables when it comes to fans 🤣
Thanks mate and yeah u will love it 😀 👍
Thanks so much for this video. :)
Thanks 4 taking time to comment mate and glad it helped 👍 yes the strips will connect direct to mobo and controlled via rgb header. Regards
This is making me want to swap my RX120s for the QX, those leds look sick!

Nice mate 👌 I love the 5000 cases and yes will look amazing 👏

Yeah I think I got them really early on mate and I pleased corsair ship with the cable now. Glad u like them too. Thanks for watching too 😊

Just ordered the Link H115i and a 3 pack of 120 fans - supposedly the 3 pack now comes with an additional short cable - here is hoping because I want to use one as an exhaust and two as bottom intake in an Asus Ap201 case. It was an expensive purchase!
Yeah they do mate and but they are beautiful 😍
Dang!!! I have never seen soooooooooo many fans with the AIO like you have done....I hope it is cool enough----Ha Ha.
Haha got to fill out that case bro 😂 thanks for watching 👀
Howdy cowpoke, this is Korean viewer here.
Thanks for the video, but I have a question.
Did you use the sleeved cables from Cablemod? I'd be very appreciated to know.
Thank you.
Yes they were cablemod cables mate 👍 - thanks 4 watching I really appreciate it.
Hello,
Thank you very much for the video.
Wished you showed the set up of the icue software and configuration
Makes the SL Inf 120 fans I have look dated tbh lol
I know what fans I'm using for my next build 😂, bet your really happy with that mate.

I must say I really enjoyed watching the video and as I'm assembling parts for my new PC this video actually confirmed it for me that I actually should invest just a bit more money for this cooling system 100%
Just have a quick question, when you mounted the CPU cooling you didn't use any Thermal Paste? or did I miss that ^^
@ChiefStyx 360 AIO comes with some already applied - I must admit I did change this a few weeks better though. Great choice over a year later and not one issue and I love it 😊 good luck and thanks for watching.

Great video mate
Thanks mate really appreciate the support 👍
What are the dimensions of the CORSAIR iCUE Link H150i LCD Liquid CPU Cooler including the fans connected to it?
52mm mate
Agreed mate 👍
plug in the usb c to rad and usb splitter to edit screen
Yep that's correct if not icue doesn't detect the lcd in software. If you don't want to do that the screen will still work but you ant customise. Thanks 4 watching
I'm having an issue where I've got everything installed correctly, but the AIO pump will not turn on and work. My CPU will skyrocket to 100° because it's thermal throttling as the pump is not turning on and working.
U deffo connected pump to icue hub? Then 100% powering the hub and also 3 pin to cpu header
@TechCheckUK Yeah, everything is connected correctly, and got the 3 pin connector connected to the sys_fan_pump header
Aw mate I feel for you I never had a bad one all I can say is return it mate.
Best video I have seen on the icue links.
Do you need the radiator or can you just buy the fans.
Reason I ask is because I already own a LCD H150i radiator non link version.
Appreciate your support mate - no u don't need the AIO mate - if u buy the triple pack it comes with a link controller and cables 👍

Yes mate you can all in icue software
I wish they make a triple pack of the QX fans without the hub. I already have the H100i AIO and it came with a hub. Why would I need 2x hubs? Corsair should remove the hub from the triple fan pack and charge less. Make it more affordable.
Yeah by the time I purchased the AIO and 2 x triple packs I ended up with 3 x hubs - only needed one so I see what you saying and I agree. At least give an option 🙂
looks great but having a hard time with the upside down corsair logos on the side intake fans.
Haha that's the inner ocd in ya 😜
These are so legit I had to get a 360mm and 7 other link fans

Nice review man. Do these Corsair Icue Link QX120 fans have removable fan blade? Like the Thermaltake Swafans, the fan blades can be pop out and clean. Since these fans are so expensive, would be nice if we can just pop out the fan blades to clean for long term use.
No they don't mate - agree the thermaltake ones are a great and would ve been a nice to have T this price 😀 appreciate the feedback 👍
Then put the AIO with the 3 fans into the other side?
the new version comes with a right angle 100mm cable
Nice and thanks 4 sharing mate 👍
What is your motherboard? Which one do you recommend for the new am5?
Mine is the x670 asus hero - personally love it!! But expensive and there are lots of boards much cheaper but I love asus ROG. I would always go Asus then MSI then Gigabyte / Aorus. U can go with b650 or x670 or if you wanna go latest then that's x870 or b850. Depends on budget mate
So I got the h170i with lcd screen but icue will not pick up the lcd screen. It detects the aio block and all my qx fans. Also says there is a firmware update for link hub but when I update it I lose all my fans and everything turns red.
have u connected your type c cable from radiator to icue box?
@@TechCheckUK omg thank you!! this comment made it click and helped us figure out the problem with our screen setup not showing up

Regards

Max radiator 360mm at top bottom and side only a 420mm won't fit - appreciate u watching thank you 😊
I'm still new to this, but is it really just plug and play, or is their more going on in the back
It's very simple mate 👍 all controlled via icue software I personally love it 😀
Does it need to be connected to the cpu fan header at all? If so, is that cable provided and does it come from the hub into the header or the pump into the header?
You can use wither the cpu header or pump header. The cable itself is a very thin 3 pin cable directly from the icue hub to the header on mobo. I like using the cpu header as it means I don't get any message on boot up saying no cpu cooler connected and I also don't have ro turn it off in bios.
@@TechCheckUK honestly bro, thanks for the reply! Exactly the info I needed. Keep up the great vids. Got yourself a new sub

So with this fan combination with the cooler, does this remove the need for commanders etc? I see you just daisy chained them and then straight into that new hub? Does that come with the cooler?

Does anyone know the noticeable different between the elite xt and the liquid cooler he got? From advertisements I thought this one didn’t allow you to have gifs on, but you can. So what is the noticeable differences anybody??
Hi mate elite xt uses older fans and requires a commander xt to manage and run. Yes it does gifs and has a lcd screen. The new Icue AIO has easier cable management and newer connections with a new hub with far less cables too. Depends on the other fans you have or want to upgrade as the old ones can't be used with new hub - hope that helps 👍

I don’t have a plug on my power supply that says pcle where do I plug the cable to from the hub
Hi mate u need a 6 pin pcie from your psu and that goes to your icue hub
@@TechCheckUK do you have a link to one I could use. Also do I plug it into sata or perif
No links as it comes with the icue hub mate and u should plug into pcie an 8 pin pcie cable - 2 of the pins just pull off and u connect the 6 pin to the 6pin
