The crazy thing is that both mind crime, and transcendence, came out the same year! I think no exit, came out about the same time . I need to check that out, I had both Queensrche, and crimson glory, on cassette and CD, but never, heard fates warning, music, really.
Not to mention Metallica and Kings X's offerings

Still a staple in my rotation. For all the obvious reasons.
They did get a decent amount of limelight but in my opinion they were very under-recognised. Midnight on vocals was a real phenom.

My favorite rock album of all time. I was listening to it back in the day. As an oldschool Queensryche fan, I even like this more than Rage For Order and Mindcrime. Midnight's vocals and Jon's guitar work are both mindblowing.

I remember this album well. It's really, really good . Its kind of strange though because, idk, it's like they were created in a lab somewhere to compete with Queensryche specifically.
Wanted: Technically proficient, progressive metal band not afraid of melody to take some of Queensryche's market share. Lol.
@@johnohara3683Dude, as a lab guy who has loved this album since the day it came out, you just captured the soul of this album and Crimson Glory in a nutshell. They are so refined its almost like they were indeed lab created. And everyone who lives CG also lives QR, had a comment or comparison and its really just like a true physical force that pulls everyone together. Very bizarre. Btw, I did just see Geoff Tate solo a month ago, leap day 2024 and he and his band were so good, like don't miss that show if it's near you. You're welcome. 🤙🤙🤘🤘

I get what you're saying to someone degree but consider it the "Lost Reflections" of The Transcendence album and it makes more sense.
