my previous PC was built in an Air 240. And I loved it, good airflow, good cable management and good aesthetics. When I build my new PC it will be in this!
That's how you roll a video. Came here looking for someone not raping this case and H115i Pro like the Verge dude did. Great content here, would deffo consider it if I hadn't have a E-ATX board, especially as I havbe the H115i Pro, Glaive mouse and K65 RGB from Corsair already, not mentioning HX750 PSU. You really show the benefits of this case, thanks.
I think it's because with the black version the front blends in a lot better, with the white version the white bezel on the left side of the front just really stands out and makes it look odd
Fantastic looking case - I've had one for ages, the problem I'm running into now is - upgraded to a 3080TI (MSI Ventus 3X) & a 5900X (cooled with Corsair H100i Platinum SE mounted in the top for exhaust), 2 x 140 fans front & bottom (intake), so now my HDD & PSU chamber is cooking - I guess the 3080TI is blasting it's super hot air up the back of the motherboard & through the gaps into the other chamber & there's nowhere in that compartment for hot air to go at the top ? So my HDD is silly hot 🔥 🥵 and recently just shut down - I'm going to try putting another 140mm fan in that compartment to see if it helps, just a bit of a hot spot where the drives are located with no way for hot air to escape 😱
Just received the White Non RGB, Still planning on adding the H100i White RGB and buy RGB Fan 140mm Separatly, For those who are asking the Controller come with a set of 2 or 3 fan and connect to an usb header (Corsair Fan) which is nice because it's not mandatory to have a motherboard with the rgb header.
When using an AIO in the top of this case, removing the top glass can improve temperatures up to 7c in my experience. I bought this case as an upgrade to my Air240, very happy with the case, except the thermals leave a lot to be desired.
@@roninpwns I've got 1 intake at the bottom, 2 intake on the front and 2 exhaust on the top. The temperature issues come largely in part to the suffocation the fans get.
@@Dingo89 exactly, the top should either have drilled holes or no tempered glass at all imo. The glass looks great but sacrifices functionality for looks. The weird removal of 80mm exhaust fan mounts is also bad design.. I still like the case though lol
I'd dare say you can retrofit at least 1, if not 2 60mm fans there (going by measuring it). Problem with smaller fans is availability and noise. Noise, thermals, looks. Pick 2.
In my experience, if you use a blower card like that 1060, it's best to put an intake fan to blow air straight into it. Especially since this case allows it. Drives the gpu temp way down and also the noise. I have a rx480/8g reference card atm in my pc....

Hello guys. I need to take the front panel off for cleaning all the dust caught up in the filter (timestamp 0:14). How do I remove it? Can anyone tell me the procedure. Thanks.
I've owned this case white version since october 2020 and believe me it's not a good airflow case with glass o I had to mount washers under each piece of glass the airflow is perfect now
As much as I love the look of the case I still prefer to the 240 mainly because its massive selling point for me was the ability to have that window at the top.
Why does NO ONE seem to correctly identify the front air intake. The obvious openings at the bottom and side of the base. however those are the ONLY two mounting points so you ghet air intake from all sides plus top and bottom. The top glass is sitting a bit close and do hinder the exhaust air flow but it does work and can easily modded if you need more air flow.
i have always just bought the cheapest 20 dollar openbox case on newegg and its about time i got a proper case now that i am back to work. im just not up on any new cases that came out in the last 5 years+. the air series looks good though. finding some for about 120 which is about the upper limit i would pay. but a good case lasts a lifetime

Hello! I've just got the Corsair 280x RGB version, and I'm having trouble with the temps. I'm getting spikes of 85s with the r5 3600 (25 degrees outside temps) in games (TW3, AC Odyssey, etc) which I am pretty sure is not okay. So, I only have the 2 fans in the front pulling air and the 2 fans of the H115i pushing air to outside. I think putting a fan in the "cable management side" wouldn't do much difference, am I right? Please, could someone help me with this? PS: I've already checked the thermalpaste, voltage profile etc for the CPU. Nothing helped :(
I'm surprised they shipped it with 120mm units; the 140mm Lighting Node Pro kit is only £5 less so, if they only wanted two rgb fans with the case, why didn't they use those instead?

I've been looking for a nice and small MATX case for a bit and I kinda like this one. What bothers me however is you can get a MATX case any way you want just don't ask for outstanding airflow. This one doesn't look too bad but what is with MATX cases and closed off front panels or at least mostly covered. Regular ATX cases just make my pc look empty.
I have some issues. The front glass doesn't slide out. The side air intake is to small. There is very little clearance under the case for air and the top glass is in to deep. All of these issues can be fix if you guys buy this case. Otherwise I feel very little air coming inside.

still waiting on a larger version of this that is larger than the Corsair Carbide Air 540 (has a dual chamber design like this which means the power supply is in the back instead of underneath the motherboard) which is like one of Corsair's top 3 best selling cases as I want a $41T ton of room in the back as well as have enough space for 3x140mm fans in the front whilst also be able to put a 360mm radiator (normal thickness not too thick like 60mm or whatever it is) with fans in push/pull up top and all without issues and without having to remove everything else out of my case that is all I ask for and it cant be too tall as I want it to be considerably shorter than the 1000D as you would need something like a SUPER THICC radiator with push/pull in the top for the space to be ustilised all I need is enough space for a 360 radiator to cool a CPU and a GPU or two

Ed Dean I'll try but I'll be wary because I had put it in a different PC with the bare minimum psu requirement and it killed the motherboard. The PSU still works but the board doesn't respond to the power button or shorting of the pins

What really frustrates me about this case. Is that they could have hinged the door and magnetized the side glass and they had the frame and room to do it too.
This thing will fit a 1200W psu (I checked dimensions of the particular psu and case spec), an X570M mATX m/b and x3 @ 240mm radiators. The world will come to know what kinda power grid hurt an mATX box with x2 RTX supers and a 3900X cpu can do pushing UWQHD nano IPS graphics. I will end the thermal throttling cycle of an aging desktop with violence, though perhaps I go too far?

Could this fit a 1080 ti?
I prefer Lian Li o11 dynamic for better watercooling support and e-atx
I like that case also but its hard to find in stock
Bought on CaseKing. Shipped after 7 days. 2 days and arrives
Gianluxx cant compare a mini itx to a mid tower lol
barbara Corcoran but i mean he said for watercooling compatibility, this is a mini itx therefore less space, ofcourse the bigger dynamixx has more
What really frustrates me about this case. Is that they could have hinged the door and magnetized the side glass and they had the frame and room to do it too.
Will the h110 rgb platinum fit on the top ?
Yes it will
Sould've put a r9 280x in it.
I will end the thermal throttling cycle of an aging desktop with violence, though perhaps I go too far?
nice dota2 intro voice:))
I like the white version. :(
fogger? i dont think so i heard a vape pen 4:12 XD
hey, loved your video. but take this as a healthy criticism. your vaping smoke make the video looks bad. just my opinion btw. wishing you the best for your channel.
I still cant believe its not butter
