    If you ever need to tighten a bolt on the moon you could prolly just string all those extension together

  • @MidwestToolReview
    @MidwestToolReview 7 років тому +1

    I have the SAE Makita impact socket set. The sockets work very well with tight tolerances on fasteners; no slop. However, the wobble extension supplied does crack when used with an impact gun. I used it on a Porter Cable impact fun and the chrome chipped and cracked. The sockets did not mushroom at the drive-end, so I considered that to be a plus.

    As clean and organized as I thought it would be. I think I pretty much knew what you had but didn't know how you had it in there.
    I'd be pretty happy to work outta that box with your tools. Goes to show that you don't have to spend a ton of money to have all the quality tools you need in a nice box.
    Thanks for the tour.

      I was gonna mention that I have the same low profile sockets. Even though they aren't impact rated, they're perfect to use with a stubby 3/8" impact gun. I use them with my AP Onyx and they go a lot of places you normally wouldn't be able to..

      Thank you. Some are on my ernst rails and some on the harbor freight 1/4 rails. But the spacing isn't exactly perfect for them as you get into larger sizes they start to bump into each other

    Do you still think Craftsman pry bars are better than Tekton?
    I'm looking for some, but I dont know if craftsman is even worth buying now, what with the sellout.
    What about Pittsburgh?
    Just looking for some diy quality ones for VERY infrequent use on tool restorations.
    Thanks for the video, cool setup, I wish Harbor Freight had the matte black boxes!

    • @TonyTheTechnician

      +TonyTheTechnician oh OK. In the past I worked on Aircraft briefly but didn't have my A&P license. I was supposed to be working at the same place as OJT but that part never happened. That might have actually been best. I did receive free schooling. And I am also a member of the S.E.P program through Snap-on. I encourage all techs to take advantage of the S.E.P program. Its financially worth it even if you have to pay for a semester if you want to buy Snap-on. Also the aviation industry is about to explode. Timing is perfect
