Got them as daily sneakers but went for a 10K run with them this morning. Phenomenal surprise! Very light and breatheable, yet super comfy and max cushioned. Incredible running shoes.
Diadora, Brian & the team are ahead of the curve. GREAT products.
DIadora is in s strange position in the market: it's basically a style and heritage brand in many people's eyes and it does seem in some ways to have to compete with adidas, Nike etc via price...yet in some people's eyes, diadora is a classic Italian brand that "should" command a premium...guess we're going to test that theory with this shoe.

2)Diadora Héritage:For Life Style,Sneakers Made in Italy,with Premium Materiels
Good to see Diadora getting more attention:)
I really respect Diadora for being committed to continuing to make some of their shoes in Italy, made by Italian artisans that are paid a fair wage. Even if it means that their shoes are sometimes more pricey.
I wish more brands would bring at least some of their manufacturing back to their home countries. The only other ones I can think of is Asics with their made in Nippon Onitsuka Tiger shoes, and Mizuno with their made in Japan Soccer ⚽ boots.
New balance makes shoes in the UK and in the US.
@@f_youtubecensorshipf_nazis ah yes. That's true. NB does make some of their shoes in the US. The only US sports brand to do so as far as I know. Of course no brand actually makes all or even most of their shoes in their home country. That probably impossible from a price, profit and competitive angle. But at least some being made in a brands home country is a good thing imho.

These shoes also look extremely durable. And they fit sort of between categories in that they're a very functional trainer but also very attractive and would easily compete in the aesthetics with much more expensive sneakers from Versace and Balenciega. If you're a fashion conscious consumer who also wants to use their shoes for actual exercise, this is a steal.

Just an absolutely beautiful shoe.
I bought the last two Diadora running shoes “Made in Italy” on a deep discount and really liked them. I found the toe box on the Atomo to be too narrow after about 10k and I wonder if they made this toe box wider. The more I watch BIR I keep buying more shoes and cannot even get the miles in before something new comes out. Love it.

Does this shoe fit true to size? I read from road trail run that it runs small. What’s the verdict?
They look great and I am curious to try them, but I did actually choke on my coffee when he said the price, but If it truly works for you than I guess it’s no more crazy or different than dropping the same amount for a ‘super shoe’
The price seems high because we are accustomed to mass manufactured products in Asia.

I did like how he had said something to the effect of just feeling comfortable and enjoying the run and not caring about what’s on your feet - a shoe that makes me do that every time is worth the cost for sure as my non stop search for a shoe that does exactly that would be over.

First made in Italy shoe in 30 years but has had manufacturing capabilities at diadora for 70+ years lol…
Why is that confusing? They've used their local manufacturing for prototypes. This is the first in a while that is mass-produced there.
@@bbnd5476 it’s not confusing. He’s talking up this manufacturing at home base, but they actually haven’t mass produced or manufactured any line of shoes for 30 years. Just the one off prototype. Not confusing at all my friend, just funny to me.
@@sidoirm having the ability to manufacture prototypes in house vs dealing with doing it remotely in Asia makes a huge difference in product development. At least if you're on the team that has to deal with it.
