I am just amazed at how we Indians, on ONE side, go crazy for the hype and tend to watch it for entertainment but, on the other side, we end up judging them too badly on the basis of our personal biases. The same thing with this show!

I didn't feel any emotion whatsoever in the first few episodes. It was a bit unexpected from raj & dk but i guess the finale makes up for it.

Even the Partitioned Hotel is a Cast in itself ❤

I absolutely loved this show. And that finale is a further proof of the duo's masterful storytelling. It's one of the best episodes of any series I have ever seen. Everything from the acting to cinematography to the sound design was great.

I don’t know why it is not applauded as it should be. I absolutely loved it. The 80’s and 90’s theme was the charm of it. I loved how Gulshan Devaiah’s character Atmaram creeped me And at the same time kept me on edge. The comic timings of Rajkumar Rao is commendable as always. And the storyline of children was also engaging and funny. It is a total package of old Bollywood vibes which is missing in today’s Bollywood movies.

One aspect of this series I liked was, everyone was a supporting character in this. You can't pinpoint any lead characters, the lead character was the plot itself i.e. delivery of opium. Everything and Everyone revolved around it.

No idea what slow u find in episode 4 to 6

  • @nightmayor6114

Honestly i would much prefer a slow burn story instead of web series butchered on editing table. i am honestly and constantly amazed by performances of Gulshan Devaiah in such black comedies like Afsos and G&G but still he is relatively unknown to general audience. For me he is the MVP. His presence is almost haunting and the aura around him created by Raj and DK is very unique for a killer its mix of fact and fantasy with a pinch of mythology and people's paranoia. At this point i am half convinced that he is probably a devil or the vampire in this universe. Cannot wait to see what Raj and DK would do with Citadel.

Just finished it. I don't agree with your assessment of episodes 4-6, but then again, I love slow burns!

My most favourite part was creating different subplots for each character from the same situation during last episode . That was simply outstanding.

I'm so happy for Adarsh Gourav, from playing Ankit in Hostel Daze to The White Tiger & now this!!!

Top 5 points to watch this series frm my view.

  • @ankittmishra

I genuinely think raj & dk really enjoying whatever they are doing they were meant to be one of the best OTT director for sure

  • @parthgaur9727

The main highlight of the shoe in my opinion was the mindbending work of the cast. Yes,it took its time to develop the premise but just after the fourth episode the wait was all worth it. Also,Gulshan Devaiah gave the performance of his lifetime in the last clubbed episode. Raj and DK are so brilliant technically that even a mediocre storyline is overshadowed by a mindbogglingly wonderful screenplay. I still feel this is their best work till date. Yes,the subplots were lesser comparatively but the main narrative was focused upon very well i guess

  • @kvtechvarshney5179

The show had a full Tarantino vibe. People dying one by one. And the most humorous moments layered in those action sequences.

  • @creationsbykaf3221

Just watched it yesterday in one go. Absolutely loved it. Everyone acted so well. Story, dialogues, humor, twists everything was just amazing

Oh man the setup in 2nd episode regarding Satish Kaushik's impending death was so masterful.
