Depending on the Industry maybe but usually it isn´t. I am a pro CATIA user and almost nobody can even start the software as a beginner, it´s way to complex. Fusion 360 is like paint by comparison. Fusin 360, Solid Works, Inventor are all fairly easy to learn and use. CATIA and NX are much more complex and difficult to learn and apply.
That's a fair take. There are varying degrees of application complexity for different use cases. For a beginners, Fusion is a professional CAD program that has a learning curve. This video is intended on giving a sneak peek at the application to help a beginner make a choice to use it... or not 👍
@@IQWorkshop Fusion is a great piece of software from what I have seen. I didn´t even know it was used professionally to be honest, in my day Solid Works was "the fusion" of that time, a fairly cheap and user friendly software. In the end most middle range CAD packages (to which I would count fusion) are similar and the basic knowledge can be transferred from one to an other to a certain point. They all have Sketchers and planes and a feature trees (except the really cheap and shitty ones I have seen who don´t have a feature tree at all). So your viewers should check out multiple CAD packages, the pricing can differ a lot.
Fantastic, Great information for beginners for where to start and how to start out. The Simple Starter project is spot on.
You got me thinking about doing a simple project video start to finish 🤔
@@IQWorkshop Sounds Like a Plan. Hit me up. I have a Few Ideas.
