- Hi Art friends! This week we've been sent a sketchbook haul from Pink Pigs :D We thought it'd be fun to try use the sketchbook that has black paper since we normally use white paper!

Yo, Steph!
Applied Inktense pencils are permanent once they've been properly activated with water and allowed to dry. In contrast, watercolour pencils can be re-wetted and the colour can be lifted or blended. I've also found that Inktense are quite opaque and very very pigmented (unlike most watercolour pencils) so you can fix mistakes quite easily by drawing over the top of them with white or another colour.
I just really love the little questionnaires you guys do every time I've never seen another youtuber use this feature that way! it's so neat! you are great!
I mean it doesn't even serve any real purpose, there's just a little question like "are rainbow sausages real?" in the corner with funny little answers and it makes me smile! it's just there to make people happy and that sums up this channel so well

Besides being funny,relatable,inspiring,having an adorable relationship and a chill vibe,a very creative mind and being low-maintenance (I hope it doesn't come off as an insult, what I mean by it is that they're basically down for whatever and doing the best out of everything they have/have to do, they're easily entertained and accept almost any suggestion),what I think makes them great is the detailed,interesting,hilarious backstories and personalities they're providing for their characters,even small ones,it comes so natural to them. 😊
I got basically nothing but art supplies and I couldn't be happier 😍 I got the 132 set of prismacolor colored pencils, paint brushes, an easel, 3 art of Disney books (frozen, inside out, and zootopia), chalk markers, 2 new faber-castell Pitt pen sets (12 pens in total!), and a fully black sketchbook!! I got so lucky this year 😍
I got lots of posca pens and some prisma colours and lots of other things for art

+Kawaii Brownie I got the Intous drawing tablet, and I really like it so far. there's three sizes, and you can buy a wireless kit for it so you don't have to deal with wires. hope this helps!
Gotta love the fact that half the time Adam is laughing too hard to tell his own stories :P Your character backgrounds are always amazing. These look so good, I bought a black pad just to use the paper to cover sketchbooks but now I want to try drawing on it!
I got the Finetec watercolours for Christmas, haven't tried them yet but I'm looking forward to it! I think you'll enjoy using the Inktense pencils, they basically function more like an ink in that once you've put a layer of colour down it won't lift back up again like a normal watercolour pencil when you apply water, so you can build up loads of layers.

You guys should do an inverted drawing challenge. You have to draw with inverted colors and inverted line work and when you invert the color (like on your phone or computer) it has to look normal. (you can use your phone when you draw or you can not use your phone. Up to you).

also you should invert the drawings you diid on the black paper and see what they would look like- it might look cool !!

I really like the idea of using the black paper, it reminds me of a high school art project where we did scraffito on black coated paper to etch pictures into it. I would like to see you guys try that sometime.

I taster banana sausages, and I went to the store today, and i say that Monty chocolate Steph Got for her birthday, and there was pinatãs next to them. I literally laughed so hard and everybody stared at me 😂

The inktense are brighter in colour, but the biggest difference to watercolour is that once inktense pencils have dried, they can't be lifted with water once again! So you need to think about it carefully when you place the colours, because once it's dry, you can't undo because then it's basically waterproof ink :)

Inktense also become waterproof when you've wetted them once on paper and they've dried, when regular watercolour pencil pigment can still be re-activated. So you can't go back, but you can also layer easier I think. Inktense are really cool, it would be fun to see what you guys come up with. And happy 2017!

The inctense pencils, is pretty much the same as watercolors. They won't move when they have dried, so that´s something that makes them different form watercolors. I really like them :) Love your videos btw, look forward to it every sunday :)

I forgot today was Sunday I love doodle date I was watching old vids yesterday and for Christmas I got prismacolor coloured pencil set of 24 and every colour of sharpie thin and thick

Inktense are a lot of fun. They are highly pigmented when wetted and brighten from how they look when dry. They act more like ink in that they only activate once and then you can actually layer watercolor and other mediums on top of them and, provided you fully activated them the first time, they (the inktense) won't lift or smudge. You can also shave bits of the pencil into water to make an ink wash. It would be awesome to see you draw squids and sea slugs (nudibranchs) and maybe jellyfish with inktense pencils.

Happy New Year! I now have 2 Posca Pens, gold and ivory because of you. I believe the biggest difference between watercolor pencils and inktense pencils is that watercolors can be rewetted after they have dried and you can continue to move them around and work with them. Once Inktense dry, they won't move again, they become permanent. I think watercolors are pigment based and inktense are ink based.

Inktense pencils and blocks are really fun. They are actually ink, not watercolour. They will dry permanent, and can also be used on fabrics, not just paper. So you can design your own cushions, pillows, clothes etc. The ink generally dries quicker than watercolour, it can be layered over previous layers, and usually appears more vibrant than watercolour colours.
My mom got me watercolor paper too! I also got a 100 pack of gel pens and a ton of mechanical pencils
I got Sakura Koi travel pan set and Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor set ( because of you guys and when you used them in the video they looked neat . So I'm very thankful I found reliable water color sets. Thanks very much!) I also received some watercolor paper and Winsor Newton inks with sketch calligraphy pens . You've a helped me a lot in deciding what art supplies are decent and good . So again thank you.

I love my inktense pencils! They are a lot more permanent than watercolors and I think more pigmented. Because of you guys I got a really nice pencil case for Christmas, I was just throwing my supplies in my backpack.

I got a lot of art supplies for Christmas. I got a brush cleaner stand, gouache, water color paper, a paint brush with a silicon nib on the other end for masking fluid, and masking fluid.
