@@arty1306 absolutely not. You don't fight infantry with a 105mm manually loaded. It's a light reconnaissance vehicle. Able to destroy enemy tanks if needed

@@Niylark It's not a problem, and honestly, it does pretty well. The gun was designed for this (otherwise I doubt that HEATFS and APFSDS would be available). The problem is that in real life, you have a key component on the battlefield : STRONG COORDINATION. As you know, it's not the strongest point of the WT community x). More of that, a this BR, the key equipment in WT is the stabilizer. -10RC didn't had one, but IRL this tank had a very good fire control system. Which is not modeled, unfortunately. It's the same for the AMX-30s.
If there are some guys with more knowledge about tanks and specially AMX-10RC and -30s, please correct me if needed.

Well, its logical. Tiger II was build in 1944 ( Production ended at 1945 ) and it's facing vehicles from 1950-1970 - That's incredible amount of time and evolution in engineering and warfare.

Try getting 5 consecutive kills and no deaths with the highest BR difference between your vehicle and the game BR. No derps allowed (sturmpanzers, brumbars etc.), but besides that no rules about your machine. Also of course no teaming up with friends. Just pure skill. And luck of course.
If you can get it up as a challenge with your friends, I'll press ph to pay respects.

10:29 The suspension 'looked' alive because it uses Hydropneumatic suspension,which it basically allows the vehicle to increase/decrease it's clearence and incline in any position. As well as always maintain the same height no matter the weight and of course,keep the vehicle up despite blown tires.

i want this tank badly cause my uncle was a gunner in one of these in the 90s, my dad could've been but as a pacifist conscript he did very well in his basic and so choose a non combat role. my uncle was a conscript too but did very badly in his basic so didn't get any of his non combat role choices and so had to be in an armoured unit but he actually loved this thing so i now want to get it in this game.

Oh man that Bradley. War Thunder really needs a compartment stun mechanic after a large penetrating hit.
The simplest solution would be to change BR matchmaking brackets from 1.0 difference, to 0.7 or 0.3 difference. The game usually has 40-60k players active at once -more than enough to decompress matchmaking. This would prevent most WW2 vehicles figting Cold War vehicles and prevent the extreme imbalance between vehicles in the 5.7-8.7 BR bracket, wherein an uptier usually spells doom

Actually, wheeled tank destroyers should be more sneakier than tracked no clanking tracks and less loud engine.
The most modern version of the 10RC can "auto target" enemy vehicles. Just point, wait, shoot.
As simple as that.
And here we are with Gaijin making it that it can hardly destroy a BRDM.
For fuck sake, they need to learn that their vehicles are NOTHING compared to all of the others nations....
TLDR : In real, a 10RC can EASILY destroy any vehicle. In the game, it's just a big Lego shooting peas.

Ok phly, here’s my challenge for you.
Play the KPZ or MBT70 but ONLY use your 20MM on top to kill tanks, SPAA, or maybe even jets. As long as you kill something.

i think that problem can be solved just with higher BR like a 11.0 and thigs like recoilless guns have to have BR like a leopard and also leo, stb, pattons a everything with HEATFS has to be 1.0 BR and more higher than maus, IS-4M and others (and hellicopters need to be over 9.0)

Play the M48 in stock configuration. But i am generous, besides the APCR shell (that rarely to do damage at all) you can use the APHE in one battle (170 pen on 7.7 Br but can at least do something), but make sure to play one game with APCR only.
No camping behind allowed (and not sure it would help)

I mean, I think most people don't have your level (including me), and it might be a good time/occasion to teach us how to play it correctly (even if it's just a basic "what to do, not to do, what to check, how should I play, etc).

hey phlippidy, remember when you did a "let my tankers tank" mini series? now its time you do it the other way around! "let my planers plane" in which you pick a top tier flying vehicle (id sugest something you havent used yet but thats just a sugestion) and go kill chunguskas, otomagics, adats, rolands, stormers and anything else that might be a threat!

Hey phly random question, how many hours have you played war thunder over the years? I started playing late 2016 I have almost 1300 hrs. Not that much I know
All the light vehicles with semi or full auto weapons and atgms (Bradley, warrior, bmp 2) all never should have been added with the way damage models work. They genuinely ruin the game with how stupidly survivable they are. Example: penned a Bradley 5 times in all its weak points in order to kill it, hitting the rocket launcher and breech (which a lot of the time does nothing at all)

God this vehicle and the other AMX cars in another game Wargame Red Dragon are just pure cancer. I guess Gaijin must've liked that game to continue the cancer-inducing trend of French cars that Eugen, the maker of Wargame, started.
