Hello folks I'm looking into retiring in azores but want to do a two or three month exploratory visit,renting a car by day for that long would be very wasteful ,my question if I came in off-season to get a true feel for Sao Miguel would I be able to short term lease on a car ?I find lots of information on rentals but nothing on leashing ??any advice would be greatly appreciated ,I'm a us citiz3n if it makes any difference .ty
The islands that have all year round ferry service is Faial, Sao Jorge and Pico; also known as the tri-angle islands and part of the central group. Between June and September or October there is another ferry line that will connect these 3 islands with Graciosa and Terceira. I hope this helps! Cheers!

How do you travel from island to island? We are coming to Terceira end of October and thought about going to another island for a day or two.
