The real reason these kind of long gone shows, besides Dean being a legendary entertainer, being so wonderful, is that the shows were an escape from reality. Just like tv shows are ment to be. After a full work day, to watch a show like this, it fills the mind and heart with warmth and joy. We dont have entertainment like this nowadays and that is a loss for humanity

He had to be seen how he exuded his performances in all his aspects as an entertainer, Radio, Singer, Actor,Show host (HAD MOST OF THE LONG RUNNING SHOWS IN HISTORY OF SHOW BUSINESS) plus films. It is sad that entertainers of his kind cannot be produced in this present generation. It has to be said the real entertainment in his era will never be seen again. Just think back and explore the history of show business to see what real entertainment was in the 1940s/50s/60s/70s and 80s. and yes that included the war years. UA-cam is the only source to seek and watch THESE GREAT YEARS.

I’ve never seen before/after someone so relaxing while singing as Dean Martin. He’s, as a child, probably started by singing before speaking. Fortunately for him/us😊 Such a soft beautiful voice he’s got. A nice episode here. Dean can pair-up with anyone and make me laugh out loud. Much admire on his huge sense of humor.
