Clemson had a pair of top 5 recruiting classes while T Law was QB, and those are the guys who were the players during the last few seasons of continuous degradation. This team almost had to go to OT just to beat Kentucky in the bowl game so they didn’t lose 5 games! Why would any reasonable person think things are on the upswing at Clemson?

I appreciate all the work that Bud and the guests do to put these together. I think this guy did a great breakdown on Clemson. However, I think that there seems to be some coping going on here, and some of these things really just don't make sense. If two true freshman wide receivers are really in the conversation to be starting or in the starting rotation, it seems like a reflection on quality of the rest of the room. Also, I don't seem what possible future there is where people say "Hey, Dabo did the right thing." It sounds as if we're talking about everybody else trashing their cultures and selling their souls to the devil, when as Bud pointed out earlier, that's just not the case and some of these transfers are great culture guys.

There's a lot of reporters who are very honest and give a great breakdown of what you can realistically expect out of a team, but there's some reporters who come in and they're on something and give wild and just kind of bad reads of a team and what they're actually capable of. Clemson will be better this year than last year. They won 9 last year. I see them winning no less than 10. Maybe 11 or more. Beside UGA i don't see another team with more talent. They should win the ACC. They should be in the playoff. They have a shot. Especially if they sonehow pull off a win against UGA i dont see them dropping a gsme all year long. With a 12 team playoff i seem them in the CFP. If they dont make make it to the CFP Dabo needs to fire more than just one coach this coming fall.

Clemson could beat Georgia but I don’t trust Clemson’s offensive staff. I don’t think they’ll have a good game plan. I don’t think they’ll use ball control and work the clock. I think they’ll try to go uptempo and that plays right into Georgia’s hands because there defense is designed to stop uptempo spread offenses. I think they’re going to attempt to block Georgias defensive front and that’s going to lead to destruction of the offense. What affects Georgia is going slow getting big bodies on the perimeter to block in the run game. Like bama did last year. Then setting up play action and 50/50 balls. Using klubnik as a runner.
I feel Clemson should’ve hired Tommy Rees as OC Alabama OC from last year. The way he was able to develop Milroe was remarkable but most importantly he would make klubnik better by increasing his high percentage throws but with less attempts. Getting the ball out quicker. Clemsons going to put too much on klubnik and it might now work out for him. Throwing the ball 30 or 40 times a game hurts the run game and could lead to more turnovers.

This year is the show it year. They are no longer injured and they should be balling out and have no excuses unless they get injured again.
