Prescott is a great town. I rode through there with the Mrs a couple years ago. Sedona and Jerome are cool towns not too far from Prescott. Wish I was going to be out there.

Just used the Skidmore's on my saddle. Love that stuff! You can make an inexpensive strop board by gluing a strip of leather to a free paint stir stick from a hardware store.

I would advise asking for the 5 gallon stir stick at any hardware store, most carry both sizes. The 1 gallon sticks have a tendency to be either warped or twisted and that really doesn't matter for stirring a gallon of paint. But, if you want to make do with that type of wood, those larger stir sticks tend to be flatter and thicker than the smaller ones and will make a better strop board in the long run.
I make mine out of a short length of construction 1X4 lumber, the likes of which can many times be found at most any new construction site and, if you ask, I'll bet that they will be glad to offer whatever they have lying around or out in the construction haul-away bin.

I would buy a briefcase cut out set.
