Usually not a fan of the "metal turned math rock" drummers but this dude is so good and has such a sweet ear for rhythm. I hope I can drum like this someday.

@James Hecht Chon was mostly inspired by skate punk and early 2000's metalcore and combined it with math rock. Look at some of their shows back in 2008 when they just started, they were quite heavier.
Also their older stuff has a more present influence from these genres (listen to Perfect Pillow and Bubble Dream to understand what I mean)
@James Hecht chon wasn't really math when they started but more of a prog metal in the myspace era. Btw where can i find this journal?
