bikes these days are pretty forgiving, but plenty of good coaches about if you need to up your skills to get from say a trail center rider to a a natural terrain rider. I've been racing pedal bikes off road since 1988 and am still not good enough - maybe I'll get there with another decade ;)

The assent looks amazing but fair play tackling that decent! I'm a bit confused what track you followed from Glencoyne Bridge the disused quarry approaching Green Side as I can only see a footpath rather than bridleway?

Yeah, I ride footpaths. Seldom seen is an epic trail!

I rode up Sticks from Greenside, down Dolly. Should have just gone up the bridleway 😂
