You always have great shows. I'm a Police officer out here in the suburbs of Wisconsin! I hear ya. Our Chief and Captain are old school no Glocks, nylon, or sneakers! Safariland Sam brown 94 and buckle belts only. Black or basket weave! I used The 94 for 17 years until it died! I tried out a Uncle Mike's basket weave duty belt but the plastic buckles kept breaking. The belt was nice. I tossed it I then got me a Bianchi basket weave elite duty belt. That lasted 8 years then fell apart but the plastic buckle was Awesome I still have it. I ordered another basket weave Sam Brown 94 belt again. I got it from Stretchers in Butler Wisconsin. 20 percent off! Got me a new Safariland basket weave single mag pouch to replace that dam Bianchi mag pouch. I have my Gerber tool in it. My TQ is on my vest with my taser and 2 M-4 carbine 511 soft pouches like you got for your buddy! Lol! Keep safe brother in blue!
If you want to take the time and energy to do so, you could strip the basketweave off the outside of the belt (or buy it separately) and sew it onto the exterior of a belt like the safe-life, the blue alpha gear or similar two layer belt
Hey, a good basketweave belt you can use is the Bianchi Accumold belts. They sell them in nylon, leather, and synthetic basketweave. They also have velcro on the inside.
Love your channel! So, I respect the hell out of your experience. Years of trial and error I’m sure, but, I gotta say I do have an opinion on your chest carrier situation. I did 2 years LE in Pennsylvania. I was also a marine infantryman, where I carried a MUCH heavier plate carrier. The thing about carrying all that gear on your torso is it REALLY limits your ability to close/open hand fight, especially on the ground. Being top heavy is EXTREMELY inefficient when having to fight someone and once your on your back, you become a turtle and it’s much harder to get up. I tested out all my mags (4), a med kit and 2 extra cuffs on my chest carrier for a year and when I switched back to it all on my belt, I felt SO much lighter and able to fight. IDK man, I’m sure you’ve thought about most of this.
I will say the one thing I like about working private security and a patrol division is I have the autonomy to use what gear and weapon I like within guidelines.
Stopping in to say thanks for the great advice. Your videos helped me get a job, and then skip a lot of the learning curve I would've had due to the absence of an FTO at times.
I use a Bianchi accumold elite belt with a cobra buckle from Milspec Monkey. Great upgrade. Can't tell you how many of those plastic buckles have failed me.
I want to be a Police Officer and I would pick the Vest Carrier when I become a cop and the things that I would put on the Vest are Handcuffs Pepper Spray,Magazines,Flashlight Asp and tourniquet on the Vest and I would put the Firearm,Taser and Radio on the Belt
Look up the “black box” basically it’s just angled metal with holes and slots drilled in. It goes between the drop shank and the holster and it’s a game changer. The tourniquet will mount on the front of your holster and frees up room on the belt
Nice video! Thanks! I’m not a police man but I love the video like this. It’s amazing how you guys wear all that gear and still do an awesome job ;)! I’m a ER Nurse but I use to be a 911 dispatcher until they combined all the to central dispatch. Keep em coming 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾☺️👍🏽
I think you should have a panic button on your shoulder mic. It would be easier for you just to reach up to your mic instead of reaching behind you and pressing a small circle on your big radio with all the knobs and the antenna on it.
Congratulations I give you credit for being a police officer nowadays as people are crazy and I love police officers and they do very good work and I give you credit for protecting and service how are you good
The bianchi one is pretty legit triple retention and it’s a faux leather so it can be sanatized I have the same belt but the OG buckle not the triple retention
its Breast cancer awareness month Pray for those with Breast cancer or cancer or are sick or have lost a body part or have lost a body sense or are paralyzed or disabled
Only one set of cuffs? I would think, especially in the Chicago area that you would always want two sets. Is there any particular reason why you only have one?
In my opinion, we never encouraged the same hand draw with a taser and firearm. Taser should be completely opposite of firing hand. Oh yeah and never, never have anything clutter your firearm area of the belt. Like a baton. Rookie mistake.

Can You tell the difference between a Real hand cuffs from fake hand cuffs? And does it make it tough for You to run after criminals with Your duty belt with its equipment on it? Thanks for sharing this Great Video Content and Your Service Officer FFT
I’m just curious, and I’m completely open to debate. But what are your views on police brutality and what officers can do to prevent and make change. While I’m aware not every officer goes out wanting to attack people, but what in your opinion needs to change to help lower the rate of brutality and the issues in the justice system?
I'm using a Blackhawk duty belt which a separately purchased cobra buckle. Uncle Mikes is the only one I know of that has integrated velcro from the duty and inner belt. Since it's advisable to always have keepers anyway, I'm just using a scuba webbing inner belt and the blackhawk duty belt. It's been working well for me for well over a year now.
Why do you have your radio on your belt instead of your vest carrier? Do you notice if it interferes with your seat belt, exiting the squad or overall sitting in the squad or a chair? I've been wearing mine in my vest for the longest time but I'm always open to other vest and belt configuration ideas.
I had it on my vest and it was inconvenient when I was in the station in booking or on paperwork. I like to take my vest off in the building, especially in the summer and without a radio on me it was hard to keep aware of what was going on out on the road.
Noticed that your tourniquet holder is side ways. Is that because you kept having Velcro rub against uniform shirts and making a fuzzy spot on the sides? Does that holder help with that when its vertical?
I’m not LE yet but I have a replica duty belt for airsoft. I’ve worn the Sam Browne belt since my department wears them and it’s nice in my opinion. Only down side is it’s a slightly bigger buckle and uncomfortable if you don’t have a full hook and loop inner belt, but like I like the way they look and the way the buckle locks
Get your self a basket weave Bianchi ERGOTEK ACCUMOLD. THAT'S WHAT OUR DEPT. USES. GREAT BELT. I had that Uncle Mike's in basket weave like you have but the plastic prongs on the buckle broke. No good.
have tried lookng on amazon or ebay they have a lot of leather duty belts on there that are good and are priced very fairly also do you sell your retired duty gear by chance that you dont use

If if not Glock, what is your duty weapon? We carry M&P 9s here but that’s not because of a dislike of modern firearms or flocks in particular
Ya Glocks are old school now, what are they using smiths or something??
Yes, new duty belt video.
Yes yasss lol 😂
My grandpa was a Chicago cop for 30 years. 1955 to 1985. He had some stories good bless you guys
Zero 9 holsters makes good magazines, handcuff for ASP, radio, and flashlight pouches in black and basket weave kydex for a good price.
I'm gonna have to check it out.
Yes they do, I use their radio, and magazine pouches on my duty belt.
If you want to take the time and energy to do so, you could strip the basketweave off the outside of the belt (or buy it separately) and sew it onto the exterior of a belt like the safe-life, the blue alpha gear or similar two layer belt
I hear ya man, gone thru about 5 different ear pieces in the last year. I think I'm going to throw the towel in on em
Thank You for your service Officer. 💙🖤💙🖤💙🖤

I like my Bianchi Accumold belt, especially when combined with the Velcro inner belt.
They have some really good Open hand cuff holders in basket weave

I use a TRex Orion belt now. Much more comfortable. I also use VTac combat suspenders with them.
I really like the safariland buckleless belt. Works really well and gives me more space.
Bianchi Ergotek Duty Belt 7955. The padding on the inside is nice and comes with the type of buckle you need.
I use a Bianchi accumold elite belt with a cobra buckle from Milspec Monkey. Great upgrade. Can't tell you how many of those plastic buckles have failed me.
BIANCHI 7980 duty belt. I've used it for quite a few years and haven't had a single problem out of it
Another beautiful review from a knowledgeable experienced dude. You the mannnnn!
Aker river duty belt, can have a black buckle. With the asp handcuffs if you can't afford their cuff case, you can just use a handcuff strap
I would encourage you to get into the safe life defense tactical belts with a cobra buckle!

Safe life defense duty belt in basketweave are hands down the best belt on the market right now
bianchi accumold elite 7950 and replace the cheap plastic triple retention buckle it comes with with a 2.25 inch cobra duty belt buckle
Roco tactical belts there basket weave and heavy duty ive had mine for years and it still looks new. It's like 89$ on Amazon
10:55 - honestly, your Taser should be yellow to add an additional visual distinction to your firearm.
Those are typically supplied by the agency. the cross draw of the taser and safety mechanism is what is used to distinguish it from a firearm.
@@callen0892 Still should be yellow. And I said "additional" for a reason.
@@brushemteeth9159 Agreed, also for witnesses and colleagues bright yellow would be a great addition

I wear a Safariland belt in basketweave. I forget the model but it has cushion pads seen in. Very comfortable.
Love it. That TQ holster is a mess though. Looks difficult to remove the TQ in case you need it.
Bianchi makes a great basket weave belt. I use it everyday and have no issues
“Got a little use this summer!” Yaaaay!!

Can we respect this man how he works in one of the dangerous cities in U.S.
Can u do a video on long term side effects of wearing a duty belt ?
So did protocol change or something? How come you went with ASP for handcuffs and baton? What happened to your monadnock?
Ive been using a Bianchi Accumold duty belt for a while now and it’s been pretty good.
Use a bianchi or safariland for the belt they’re good.
Awesome vid. You should really look into the Peacekeeper expandable baton. Best on the market.

🚓🏆The Titan I still don’t know what Santa
Maybe i missed it, but where are your extra magazines?
Thumbs down, not enough back pain.

Hsgi Kydex handcuff taco in the basket weave color is a great option for an asp friendly cuff case.
A new addition to the halo I had is the attics I thought but shaqada tired didn’t
Id highly recommend a Cobra metal belt buckle. Much higher quality in comparison to a cheap plastic buckle.
Not to mention it looks better imo
I'm changing security jobs and my new one requires my vest be under the uniform shirt. Now I'm finding it difficult to get all the gear on my belt

He has flex cuffs on his vest
Some peeps carry cuffs in a pocket or pouch on the outer vest carrier.
he's an fto so his trainee is doing the work for the most part
Any benefits to have tourniquet on the duty belt over having it on the vest?
Bianchi accumold synthetic is the best belt I’ve ever used
In my opinion, we never encouraged the same hand draw with a taser and firearm. Taser should be completely opposite of firing hand. Oh yeah and never, never have anything clutter your firearm area of the belt. Like a baton. Rookie mistake.

I like bianchi accumold elite. I think it looks nice. Easy to care for. Seems sturdy.
thank you for your service
Why do you use an SLS only holster rather than a level III retention duty holster?
I recommend Hero's Pride AIR-TEK Duty Belt. It super light weight.
Where are your extra mags...Im guessing on your chest rig?
@Old man I'm a US cop and only carry one as well. No gun crime where I am though so it's not too big of a concern.
@Old man I'd even be willing to say most cops carry 2 extras. It's a bit unusual that we don't where I work.
Check out the Eleven10 Gear TQ holder. Less bulky and full protection.
Not so. This covers the whole thing. The rigid only covers half at best.
Basket weave with a cobra buckle

Over here in the UK it’s very rare to see police carrying the chain type cuffs.
Rigid handcuffs take up more space on a belt and they are more expensive than chain type
