Hi Jammy, since I am a Hindu, I can only say this from my perspective. I am a malayali and spent most of my formitive years studying in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Australia (2000's). I know you find it ridiculous that people can say such things about our God's but let me tell you from experience that these kinds of statements (sometimes worse) do exist. I have had various people in my lives, people I considered friends and sometimes random strangers, try to convince me that my religious beliefs and practices are shameful and that I am an inferior being for not knowing the true God (this is me putting it mildly). I will however say that it wasn't just people from one particular religious belief who have said this to me..they belonged to both the Christian as well as the Muslim community. I am talking about things said at ages like 6-7, teens, young adulthood. It may not have made me question my beliefs but not every mind is the same, everyone's upbringing isn't the same either, so people can get influenced and that needs to be acknowledged. Despite my experiences, I do have friends from both communities because what people need to realise you just need to distance yourself from such people and not the community as a whole.
I would also like to add that the respective communities also need to acknowledge that such people do live among them rather than vhelemently deny their existence and do something from within.
Finally, I got some comment which answered almost all the questions that comes in my mind after watching the trailer, ,,,:) Thanks dear , I just want to address the fact that this kind of people are found everywhere across the world and in every community.
You also need to realise that such "nativity" does infact exist among Hindu households in Kerala because a lot of us aren't subject to religious conversations at home..a lot of parents tend to be atheists..mine were too and whatever knowledge I have is through my grandfather (during summer vacations) or self taught. Growing up I did not know most of what I know now.
I'm from Odisha. During Covid pandemic, a Hindu pregnant woman( a neighbour) started being friendly with me and my mother and then one day she came to visit our house and told us to convert to Christianity like her. She kept saying things like Jesus was the only saviour and Hindu Gods were monsters. Then one day one of our neighbours informed us that the pregnant lady had got converted to Christianity so that the church could cover the cost of her pregnancy and she was also receiving commission fee for converting others. She was motivated to do so by a teacher from the convent school that she previously went to. We were shocked to hear this. Obviously her financial weakness was exploited and she was brainwashed. But all religious dogmatists usually eye for the vulnerable and convert them. This lady was at her weakest when she converted. Her husband is still a practising hindu. I request all to beware of such brain washers . If you think your religion to be evil, no other religion is any less evil because no God is evil, its just a group of evil humans who make it evil for their own selfish motives.
I m from odisha too and here they mostly convert the tribal people to Christianity for money . Even one of my relatives has converted to Christianity . But odisha govt has taken steps to stop these conversions , i don't know how they are still working .
Omg i remember another thing .When I was studying in 5th class in govt primary school , they used to come and distribute books of lord Jesus for us to read that too in odia and all . Being a child i thought they were like story books , but now I can understand what were those .
I'm a hindu from Malaysia and I have had a couple of my muslim colleagues told me that I'd go to hell unless I convert to Islam. I also have Christian friends who told me that I'm praying to demons. Having said that, I also have many muslim and Christian friends who respect my faith. So, I believe its wrong to demonise an entire community for the wrongdoings of a few. At the same, its important to have dialogues among communities of different faiths to address these thorny issues.

When I was 17, a muslim guy who was 22 started pursuing me. During the courtship he was like any normal guy, sweet and charming. My naivete led me to believe that was a wholesome relationship and I started thinking about a future together. 3-4 months into the now serious relationship, he would constantly talk about his religion and their customs. How meaningful everything they do is and all of it has a lot of scientific backing. Then and now, I've never taken god or religion seriously and therefore did not pay much attention to what he was saying. As time went, he started forcing some of it on me. Asking me playfully yet insisting that I try weaing a hijab and even to find a muslim name for myself as they are prettier. From then on, he started harassing the other religions and praising his on. He told me not to get attached to my religion as I'll have to leave it soon. He told me his parents are getting ready to convert me once I turn 18 and after that they will love me better than my own parents. He said there are a lot of muslim colleges where his father has influence in and he can get my admission there and later even hire me as a lecturer. I was overwhelmed by it all and luckily for me, I was in the right mind to terminate the relationship. A constant barrage of calls from a number of phone number followed and he even started to show up at places trying to threaten me where I would go regularly. It only stopped once I changed my city for college and my cell number as well. We didn't have any common friends so he couldn't find where I was. Back then, I dismissed it as a regular toxic relationship getting out of hand for a teenager. Right now, I understand how deep this issue goes. I wouldn't go so far as to say jihad. But trying to influence a naive teenage girl who was a minor to make a life changing decision, to abandon her parents and everything she has known ever is nothing short of a cult behavior.
I was once on a flight from Delhi to Pune, nearly a 2-3 hr flight. The guy sitting next to me, started talking to,. about general stuff. He was along with 2-3 more of his friends, sitting on adjacent seats. So what started as a general conversation, turned into 3-4 guys trying to convince me to convert to Islam. One of them even said that the mosque would give me a cash reward for converting my whole family. 😂😂 This shit is real.
Full support to our Jain brothers from a Hindu. I truly feel proud of our Jain brothers, like when the Jain lady refused to cook an egg dish in MasterChef my chest swelled with pride. No need to convert to any other religion. Jaya Mahaveer ji, Jaya Sree Rama
Forget about the movie, There was an incident where i met a muslim woman on social media.. Even though we had a very less chat, she used to say the religion I'am following was fake and she suggested me to convert to Islam.. I just felt silly and a woman whom I haven't met face to face.. repetitively texted me to convert to Islam.. But on the other side.. Its really scary thing.. I have never seen a Hindu who repetitively says to other faith people to convert to Hindusim... But Some may call it as propoganda movie but the common people who knows what's happening around them can differentiate whether it is a propoganda movie or a reality check..
The thing is... Islam teaches us to teach other ppl that there is only one powerful god .... We dont get any points for convertig any body😂.. There isnt any monetary benefit either... Its abt spreading the thing that we belive is the truth... The hindu/christian brothers and sister are free to do the same to spread what they believe indian constitution gives that right... Quran specifically states that there isnt compulsion in religion... Those who have read quran knows that.. God doesnt need ur forced belief...
@@hishamsaifudeen8000 it's good to spread goodness but there's a way to it. You should not force religion on people, you can just tell people about it. And while telling about your God, you don't need to bash other religion or project them as inferior. Tell people about the goodness your religion has brought to your life instead of saying how your god can smack other gods down in a pow.

I’ve had Muslim friends belittle Hindu gods and idol worship. They even said that they are worried for me because I’ll go to hell. The movie did not exaggerate that part.
Hindu people do that all day. Nupur sharma did that on live tv. We as Muslims have had to grow up being called terrorists even when we were kid. Grow a pair and move on with life. Stop trying to live in a victim mentality, that’ll get you nowhere in life. Suck it up
Here’s my story: I moved to a new house recently and some works were still pending. So I asked my parents to move after the work is done. While I was working from home and looking after the house, one weekend the doorbell rang. I opened the gate and was greeted with “May the lord have mercy”. It took me by surprise, then they started to explain about the church nearby and how lord jesus is the true saviour, how the world is coming to an end and only ‘The One True God’ can save us. I acted casually and asked them to move on without putting more effort cause I was in between a meeting (earbuds saved me). I just couldn’t act harsh. I respect other religions and their religious beliefs. To think that, this is actively happening in a state where Christians are lesser than the minority in numbers is scary, imagine where numbers are more. I’m not targeting any specific religion but this is the reality.
But, like, what's actively happening?? You essentially encountered a bunch of religious salesmen, who're selling their faith door to door. They could just as well be selling vaccuum cleaners or some herbal remedy. If you don't wanna buy it, you don't. Unless they used some kind of force, they're just normal salesmen. They can be normally ignored, unless you want to buy what they're selling. There's nothing sinister about it at all.
That's sick at the same time hilarious. As long as we are mentally strong and believe abd feel proud on our identity, no one can lecture us about their sh!tty religion or god.
@@rishikesh4516 tbh I don’t mind the preaching, but to look straight into the eyes and trying to prove how superior the other religion is, kinda pisses me off. If I’m respectful towards your religion, I expect the same.
It has been my experience as well. When I opened up to a friend about how depressed I felt way back in 2006, she urged me to attend church with her and her family. And in the church, they quickly recognized that I was a Hindu and they did everything within their might to force me to believe that it is my faith that is the problem and if I accept Jesus then all my problems will be resolved. The next time around they nearly convinced me to convert. I ran from there as though there was no tomorrow. I am glad I had the sense to stay true to my faith even though everyone around were actively trying to make me believe otherwise. This story isn’t just a propaganda. It is true. I see so many others have confessed their own experiences as well here. I see people from repressed communities are promised respect in exchange for conversion. This is the truth about the society that surrounds us. There is no shying away from the fact or blissful ignorance will not help you or anyone in this matter. I still go to the church and pray and attend mid night masses during Christmas since I respect that religion - that does not mean I should be forced to convert.
Eda, ithu gambheeram oru prashnam aanu Keralatthil. Btw, I am from Uttar Pradesh and am learning Malayalam, so you can tell me if I wrote correctly. Btw, just by watching Malayalam movies I can say that even Malayalam cinimagal are involved in this conversion business, for sure
Don't forget that even though sometimes you mention "I am depressed" on social media there is some Muslim or Christian guy replying to you about how wonderful Christianity and Islam are and how they can help you cure your addiction or depression. I one or two times just randomly wrote something like that on social media and both times I got the same suggestion (as if I took it seriously). This is how they spread their propaganda to get you interested.
MY TRUE STORY:- One day I casually said this to my Muslim friend (been friends since class 5) :- I can't believe that people fight over the superior aspects of their particular religion and undermine other faiths. . His reply:- Ya... so true.... This is because the people do not abide by the true religion of the World, the word of Allah. . Meanwhile me:- Da fuq? (In my head.)

Modern Religions have been into proselytising for its spread unlike the older religions. So no new news there, secondly, iskcon has been doing the same. We absolutely love when we see white men and women or any foreigner getting into Hinduism, we watch tons of videos of foreigners in ISKCON org on youtube. An eye for an eye tactic that self proclaimed protectors of Hinduism have applied in recent years makes us the same. I still remember as a kid in Kerala once I bought temple prasad (unniappams - a round doughnut kinda sweet) to school and my Muslim class mate took one and when he realised its a prasad from the temple he looked at me with disgust and put it back. Let me remind you this was in my 4th grade!!!

Yes I’ve faced such things too. I’ve had long standing muslim friends make fun of hindu gods and they do it very subtly, checking out waters and if they feel like you don’t react much they continue to do it to you. I had one Christian friend making fun of lord hanuman and calling him names and what not and tbh I was offended because I did not know what had brought it on. I was so respectful to his religion, Christianity. I even wished him on Christmas and such. Yet, he didn’t hesitate even a second before making fun of my religious figures. I haven’t talked to him since. Even in school we were all Taught to be respectful to everyone’s religion and be secular and embrace everybody but there was a ganesh pooja at our school and my friend who is jain, he was distributing prasad amongst everyone and as soon as he came to give the prasad to my muslim friend, she refused and said it’s haram in her religion and the next year when during EID she brought Shirkhurma for everybody we all had some and nobody refused… Sometimes it makes me think that maybe our ideologies just cannot mix well. Inclusivity and freedom will forever be endangered by exclusivist ideologies and intolerance.

Guys I am seeing a lot of true stories lf y’all in the comments and it is really scary that this has happened with me twice as well. I want to share my experiences one by one 1. A few years back i went to live in gurgaon for studies and booked a cab to reach my pg. i had a lot of stuff to carry so i called my sister who works in gurgaon. We both sat in the cab and noticed that the cab driver was very old. As soon as the vehicle started running he started asking us what our religion was and what were we doing in the city and we looked new. We didn’t respond and he started convincing us to convert to christianity and started to mock hinduism. (I am sikh btw) i got pissed but my sister encouraged me to keep quiet and let me blabber. He even offered to give us bible to read and said its better than Gita. I thought he was psycho but never would have thought that he wanted us tò really convert. This shit is scary. 2. This actually happened with my old friend. He was a dancer and lived in delhi. One day he came in contact with a muslim girl on metro station and started talking to her. He used to tell me everything but at that time he was making a distance from me. I tried talking to him but he didn’t have time for me. He fell in love with that girl and called me to say that he found the one. I was surprised as to how one can be so in love within 10-11 days. He told me that he loved the simple approach of the girl towards life and that she is very religious. I also thought of this as a good thing. We found out later that the girl is a prostitute and he still accepted her and gave their relationship a second chance. That girl slowly forced him into the trap of her religion meanwhile she was going to the streets having sex with multiple men for money. My friend even converted to islam and left india and went to canada so thát nobody would come to know about this conversion. We have stopped talking now and i dont know how he is. He tried converting me but i refuse to talk to him. Never knew about this love jihad thing if its real .
I am more concerned about the situation by reading through the comments rather than the chaos around the movies. The incidents some people are sharing are downright scary.
When i was class 5, i studied in a convent school. During one of Malayalam subject class there was a chapter in which it was mentioned that a rishi had done 1000 years of tapasya. Our teacher, a Christian, immediately told us that we should not believe in these things as no one can live upto these many years. Next subject was of moral science (in which they teach stories from Bible) and another teacher came and he was saying adam and eve lived for more than 900 years. This happened in school where we are teachers are supposed to be tolerant and impartial. I had a colleague during my previous job who said if he (or any muslim) convert one non believer into Islam then they have a place assured in heaven. So it is not good deeds or love for God which will take tgem to heaven but just one conversion. What is even more pathetic is that these people claim to truly religious and God loving person but does these tactics in the name of religion.

PERIOD.
Conversions will never end from any side but instead if we really care about preserving Dharma we need to also spread it across the country and globe and be like those missionaries as their belief preaches them to do it as they can attain heaven and get more incentives in life if the customer acquisition is more but we do not have any such pyramid schemes so that is the problem. 😂😂😂
4:35 Ok Jammy, you need to take a walk in the park. As an ex-Muslim, let me tell you that growing up our Islamic teachers and elders would constantly ridicule other religions. They never taught us to respect other religions but rather mocked them and taught us all disbelievers will go to hellfire. Most Muslims won't say this to your face but deep down that is what they believe. The things that Muslim girl said about Hinduism is pretty much what I've grown up hearing from my Islamic teachers and elders. I made sure to make decent friends, so they didn't talk such bullshit about others but I have cousins younger than me who also make fun of other religions. The director did not mean those dialogues to be inflammatory. It's reality. You need to get out of your bubble. PS I don't think there's anything wrong with making fun of religions as we have freedom of speech and it's our fundamental human right. Just pointing out that people actually do say such things. Also, it's quite hypocritical for one group to mock and ridicule other religions but then get offended and play the victim card when others criticize their religion or simply point out things that are literally written in their scriptures.
Exactly my point! Make fun of Hinduism all you want but then they should also allow us to make fun of abrahamic religions… we all saw wht happened to charlie hebdo and nupur sharma. It’s the one way mocking that we don’t like as hindus.

I can relate with it now. When I was in 11th standard a Muslim classmate joined our class whenever we start any discussion he used to bring religion into every conversation. He used to say Islam is best religion in world and how many famous celebrities converted to Islam! But he didn’t stop there he used to share videos of Zakir Naik and he started talking about vedas and advice me why I should not worship idol and why we should not watch TV or listen to music.I’m not religious so I never got offended but I never took him seriously and I was getting annoyed by him a lot but me and my friends never say anything to him because we didn’t want to hurt his feelings and we used to think he is stupid but harmless. I didn't see such religious conversation within my friends but when I was in delhi, few of my college mates were very passionate to put my Catholic rosary in their neck as many of them felt it cool. Though it was funny but I loved it. Afterall I wear a silver shiny cross 😄

Thank goodness I have never experienced this from my friends (both Muslims and Christians). We never had any conversation regarding faith or religion in school or college days and we all were least bothered about it. We respected each other's faith and never questioned anything. We co-exited together without any issue. Having said that, I hope extremists from every faith realise that they are not truly following their faith 🥲.
4:57 I understand that these dialogues might seem offensive but over the past several months I've come across youtube videos and shorts of various maulvi talking in a similar tone about hinduism as a religion, and I'm not taking sides just saying that these aren't just dialogues this is how many big influential people that are muslim talk about hindu gods and it saddens me that this is not even an exaggeration
Well said 👍 The dialogues that Jammy thinks are over the top are actually reality. It may seem like a mediocre attempt to show the reality but this is how they actually speak and spread hatred. There are hundreds of videos available on UA-cam that are a proof of how the Muslim clergy or influential leaders speak and make mockery about Hindu Gods and poison the minds of the people of their own faith.

Hi Jammy, i rarely comment on your video but today's an exception. I must start by saying I'm neither a fan nor critic of your work but i do enjoy listening to your videos when i have time. Coming to your statement about inflammatory dialogues made about Hindu gods, let's put it this way- they're not imaginary. I've come across many more people of different religions and sometimes even Hindus (who are just not intelligent enough to think through the propaganda). They've said exact same things about and even worse about Shri Ram, Shri Krishna, Maa Kali, Mahadev. They've not spared anything we worship. As someone mentioned in the comments, one just needs to distance from such elements. I too have friends from both religions. But for you Jammy (i really like the name) please come out of your cocoon and smell the coffee my friend. I'm glad the makers have decided to show what actually is going on out there.

Ive not seen the film, but in general, I'm extremely annoyed by people who preach their own religion whenever possible. There's a time and place for this and as someone who's got a lot of religious trauma, it triggers me in ways I hate reacting. And this has been with people of various religions. Preach to people who want to listen to you. Not in the middle of a random discussion.
Guys you are missing the bigger problem here, religious aspect is just one side but this ISIS thing, even we Muslims don't consider them a muslim organization, it is a trap to use people. Their rules don't comply with Islam and we are often hearing bizarre stories. And it is really alarming that they convert people to so called Islam of Isis and then take them to war zone and use them for whatever they want against their will. And those newly converted think that they are doing something for Islam which not true. I saw a similar story of a German girl, who converted to Islam, married to a boy and went to Isis in Syria without telling to her father. Now that is completely against Islamic values but that girl was wearing Islamic dress and following the ideology of Isis in the name of Islamc. I think Muslims should work on clarifying on differentiating that so that people don't get into that Isis trap.
True!! You just spoke my mind! I’ve had friends in college from this community who would randomly start telling me about their religion. So f***ing annoying.
At an age of 33, a Turkish colleague in an atheist country questioned me on judgement day and raised doubt in my mind for that fraction of time . I am a strong Hindu- convent educated , so I imagine what would be happening to others who don't even remember Karma, rebirth and other Hinduism basics etc. At another time of life i was being bombarded with FB requests and messages from a specific segment/ country. One even had the audacity to ask me whether I am Hindu or Sikh. To the next invite I told him to stop circulating my profile Id else I will report to police and embassy and all those invites stopped. I wasn't even pretty and was living in Europe then. I wonder what the sweet, pretty girls are targeted to. After that , i still regard the UP people the ones who follow ganga jamuni. Had friends who never preached. We respected them ,they respected us.
The entire comment section is filled with arguments from anecdotes fallacy; truth is: there's just no evidence that this is happening at a scale that would compel anyone to make a movie about it; it is just plain propaganda.

I dont know about others but this influence by ppl especially ppl from Abrahamic religions is true. I think it’s because they have been tuned from childhood. I had a Muslim friend who used to mock Hinduism openly and infact made some question. their own beliefs. Imagine this mentality from school. I being Hindu had Jain friends, Sikh but all of us were ridiculed by a group of Abrahamic followers at school and imagine that too from a school like DPS. I fell emphatic about those women who were converted and what they must have gone through.
Number may or may not be accurate, forceful conversion is a reality in India. Apparently, anything made on the topics that mainstream bollywood doesn't want to touch is tried and refused based on the numbers. Question is even if it happened to a single women, what did she go through. If the former CM Oommen Chandy (Congress Party) says it on record that it is an ongoing phenomena, still it will be regarded as a propaganda. The term "Love Jihad" was first coined by a Kerela Church yet somehow people relate it to BJP ONLY. Similar questions were raised last year when The Kashmir Files was released. It boils down to accuracy of numbers and the core issue of forceful conversion is left dead.

Hi Jammy, As a Hindu, i have heard things mentioned in the movie somewhere or the other in my 30 years of lifetime. I have a lot of Hindu people in my life who are absolutely ignorant about extreme generic things shown like praying before eating. The things shown happens and it happened. People making fun about our rituals like fasts, our godess and the way we follow it. Some people are extremely ignorant and gets carried away very easily. So, it happened and it happens. I as a audience cannot dismiss anything that was shown in the movie.its for the audience to decide what to take from the movie as a sane person. I have done my part. Thank you for making the video was waiting for it though.
Well, i have a little different story to share. So I am living in Canada for more than 3 years now and a few weeks back, took an Uber back home from work. The driver was a Muslim uncle from Pakistan. We began talking as it was a big snowstorm and we were moving slowly. He discussed Islam and I discussed Hinduism. It was a mature and polite conversation and neither of us felt attacked or hurt. We mainly discussed human nature with reference to our respective cultures. He did not offer me to visit any mosque or converting and stuff. What I understood from that encounter was that it's mainly these religious figures who talk about supremacy or conversion as the common people of any culture only want to earn their livelihood and live their life with peace and contentment. Eliminating these conversions is only possible if we analyze our own culture and develop and modify our beliefs so that if somebody questions it, we do not have any doubt. All the people who convert to Christianity or Islam never had complete trust in their cultural beliefs
It’s funny how showing truth of so many families is being termed as “propaganda” … the same thing happened with Kashmir files . It’s as if those family has not suffered at all ? And if you are so worried about the state image , first make sure that in ground these activities doesn’t take place !?
Agree people were concerned on numbers and not the people suffered. For me one or ten or hundred suffering of human should be addressed with sympathy and not just political specs that we most of the time wearing

Jammy, I am a Malayali and these incidents were well documented back then around 2018-19. These are real stories and it is not made for "propaganda" reasons or for causing any communal disharmony. You should see some of the reactions of the film goers in Kerala today. Contrary to what everyone thought, most of them admitted that such movies should be seen and they had only positive things to say. Let's keep aside the technical aspects, acting, etc on one side. There might be some validity to what you are saying as you are good reviewer. With regard to the number of victims controversy, you should take into account that this was a more than 10-year period of events that occurred in Kerala. Let's say even if the number is not accurate or vague sounding, it's a fact that many thousands were brainwashed and forced into this horrendous crime. Whether it is 3 or 32, 000, isn't one person's life valuable? So the argument regarding numbers is less important, the fact is these incidents did happen and all those who cry vehemently that this was a propaganda piece to portray one particular community in poor light is way off the mark and indirectly show how hand-in-glove they are with these terror elements. Instead, be grateful how such films can create an awareness around the nation so that we don't fall for these anti-social and abusive elements. P.S.: You express surprise regarding the naivete of the characters involved. Well, the teen period is where some individuals (no matter how well educated they are), they fall for these traps... especially those who were unfortunately not given a strong grounding in their own traditions and cultures from the beginning. I have personally seen this happening in front of my eyes. It is not just brainwashing in terms of religion but drugs are another big issue that is infesting places like Kerala. It's an irony, I know that this is happening in the most literate state of India... even I was shocked to hear all these incidents 4-5 years ago but the way the state is functioning and the kind of corrupt people there are at power. it is not surprising that how they give enough breeding ground for such terror related activities.

When people walk to sabarimala Muslims provide water in front of a mosque for those Hindu devotees. Mosque has a big entry arch board, temple recently build nearby don't have place, so the mosque committee gave the half portion for the temple and half is mosque name. Other minority people are getting converted to Hindusim as well. There is no such forced conversion to any religion over here. Like all other parts of the world in Kerala also there are extremists in all religions, compared to all other states we have pretty less. I believe that the focus mainly fell on the number because they mentioned the 32000 case but didn't mention where they were from broadly. Was it from the whole of India, the whole world or or just a state. Being called the Kerala story, many would have an image that it's only a major issue in Kerala which is quite evident from most of the comments under the trailers

@@jayakishore565 that's the best part about it. The intention of the movie is not to put the issue into the limelight. As in, rather than portraying it as a issue plaguing India, it feels like a diss at a state. There were 3 reported cases in Kerala, and it probably happens in different parts of India as well, but the frame of the movie is focused more on making people think a certain way rather than making people think about the issue at hand. I hope you get that people are against not the subject but they way it's being propagated
Honestly I think our experience with folks of other religions (Muslims, Chritianity, or any other minority) has to do a lot with where they are from and the culture and people they are surrounded by. For example, my Mum living in Lucknow is constantly on about how her Muslim friend is having to deal with the worst aspects of her religion like her husband marrying somebody younger without correctly giving her talaq. Whereas my Muslim friend in Delhi talks about regular upwardly mobile shit like she and her husband going back and forth about whether they should spend money on buying a Thar (my friend loves to drive). I genuinely think if you have only been exposed to one person of a particular category you think everybody of that category is similar to the person you met. Whereas the more exposed you are to different people from that particular category, you realize peope even within that category are so different from each other based on the city they live in, their economic class, their upbringing, etc. At the end of the day prejudiced, petty, kind, silly or hard working are human qualities that i have found across the board in all categories of humans.
I am from Lucknow and I can assure love Jihad is a reality. I don't know which Lucknow you live in but in my Lucknow, a Muslim family targeted a married woman from my family and influenced her so.much that she began reading Quran.

After reading so many stories of people in the comments I'm glad that I never had to face it. My parents are strict followers of Hinduism and encouraged me to follow. Wheather it is going to temple or chanting mantras and singing bhajans. We always had Vishnu sahasranama playing every morning. My father would sit with me telling me stories of Puranas and ramayan and Mahabharata for 2 to 3 hrs straight no matter how tried he was. My mother and grandmother would tell me about traditions and my family history often. I don't understand why the movie is receiving flak even before the movie got released. It is blatant truth that jihad exists, people go to ISIS for terrorism and such conversions happened to take them to ISIS for jihad. So be it 32000 or 3, such things have to come to light.
The criticisms are because it maligns a State with bunch of lies. Let's see your reactions when movies against terrorist RSS are being made. This movie is only supported RSS terrorists. They want to picturise all muslims as evil and conduct genocide.

No hate to people from other religion but I had a incident in my college there are some Muslim student in my class who unnecessarily question about others beliefs and mocked others God's and told us to convert to islam.I still remember when one of them told me that Shiva lingam is basically a penis which was very disrespectful I tried to counter him with logic and facts and tried to debunk that statement but he didn't listen and kept going on mocking meanwhile one of my friend got so irritated he replied with that" your religion is much worse because it allows cousin marriage" that whole Muslim group got angry one of them literally took a knife out of pocket while others have sharp "kada" bracelet. That friend of mine gone to fight with the guy with knife and we all others are their to look after if no one interferes and one of our female classmate complained to Dean and he immediately came and stopped that. After that their whole group was suspended but still one of guys parents threatened our Dean. As our Dean had a great connection with DSP and inspector he shut that guys parents mouth after that whole group left the college and we don't know their whereabouts and also not bothered about them anymore. After watching this film I kinda relate to this that how manipulation works in general.
Jammy, if you go to North Kerala you'll be forgiven for thinking you're in Pakistan! I mean I grew up there and the change in cultural and religious landscape in the past 30 years is shocking! Either everyone woke up one morning and decided to be Muslim or there's been huge funding from external players to convert people. Even my Uncle was asked to convert to Islam once. They have 3 things Hindus don't have 1. Money 2. Political hold 3. An enviable sense of community within Muslims..which Hindus lack.
Wholly agree with you happening in every part of the state , Hyderabad is filled up till brim and so is now delhi muje pata nhi tha ki ek din they will hi jack vasant kunj jaise posh area where i am seeing every small skill worker or labourer workers as Muslims yaha tak ki ek doh masjid bhi hai till i was very small n used to come visit my grand father i never heard namaz sounds in this area for real they are nowhere a minority status.

This is not my Kerala Story. To see what's a real Kerala Story, you gotta watch "2018" that released today staring Tovino Thomas, Aparna Balamurali, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan and many more.
For me, both are Kerala stories. One is the Kerala story that we are proud of everyone to know. Deep in heart, we all know this movie is also a side of Kerala. We try to hide it because of our hypocrisy.
bro i honestly get why some people oppose this movie , but one thing we need to understand is , this is happening majorly in kerala , i have visited kerala thrice (209, 2013 , 2019) the kerala i remembered in 2013 completely changed in 2019 i saw burkhas all around me in the same city i visited in 2013 , so there clearly has been a change we cannot deny , altogether i still love kerala and would still visit it , love from rajasthan
@@syhuhjk I'm not trying to hide the fact that other side of Kerala exists. I would never recommend this movie to anyone only because of the exaggeration in facts. It's not only happening in Kerala, every state in India is facing this problem but portraying Kerala like the ISIS HQ of India is why I despise this movie.
The Movie is made with " Sole Intention of Evoking the Hatred in people's mind and heart " I would strongly assume it has been funded by Politics in some form or other.
Experienced t too.. have seen friends been brainwashed convered and read namaz n wear hijab. Two of my classmates. One girl came to her senses .. dont know what happened to the other one . Both for guys. I even have seen my classmate a catholic boy change his wearabouts for a muslim girl. Wear the white cap for namaz.. We accept them so beautifully. Celebrate eid and Christmas with them. They dont take prasad, join for diwali or even holi we arent allowed tk put even a single drop of colour on them. Theu can be more accepting towards us and live in harmony.
The dialogue representation is actually true ... I have seen many Muslim people constantly telling in various platform that One day all of us will get our punishment from allah .. and things like how there is no place for other religion in Jannah and how we are doing a sin by not following allah ... its True these things are happening.. No extravagant dialogue but THE TRUTH has been said ... also no hate to muslim community while there is a rotten potato in every sack ... I have also come across muslims who are actually kind
Speaking from my personal experience, saying offensive things about Hindu Gods, in presence of Hindu "friends" is almost like handshake for the Muslim folks. ANd they say it in the same casual used to tone as we say 'hi' when we meet with friends. And they bring in these awful talks about Krishna or Ram even when there is literally no discussion about religion or Allah or Muhammad at all.
Yeah i have experienced this as well not by muslims but by sikhs as i live in punjab a sikh majority state comments like mootpeene ( urine drinker ) are quite often used here i have sikh friends openly accepting that they hate temples While i used to visit gurudwara with them quite often and hindus are always portrayed as poor people in Punjabi movies so eventually it led me to believe that nobody is dudh ka dhula hua everyone has hatred in his heart
Seriously!!?? did Jammy even understand the point of the entire movie?? The extreme attacks on religion and dialogue is a reality. What bubble do you live in? Great way of avoiding the topic instead of actually putting forward fair review.
I have people tried in the past to give lectures on how great their religion is , even my friend converted her religion, went against her husband and when it came to the point of divorce, she realized and came back to Hinduism. So don't think this just happens to un-married girls, every one is targeted and brainwashed if they are vulnerable
Just my two cents here being a Malayali and having lived in Kerala throughout my life. Even though the story is based on real life incidents the presentation can only be described as over inflating a flaccid balloon. Even though the “32000” debate and the validity of that number has been disproved, the damage has been done. People who have no idea about how society in Kerala functions have become quick to judge us. Everything from the clothes the characters wear to the life portrayed can only be described as something a fourth grader travelling to Kerala on vacation would do and live. The intention of the movie isn’t to bring out the issues around conversions and religious extremism but to simply create hate among people. Even though we as a state have issues among followers of different religions we have remained fairly supportive and respectful of each others faiths and yes such people do exist but they do so in every religion and one look at twitter India can easily prove my point. My intention isn’t to undermine the issue at play but to rather remind people that this is nothing but an attempt to malign peoples image of Kerala and disrupt the religious harmony within our communities. The movie isn’t all bogus neither is it all true. One should only focus on the issue presented and not fall for the hate the movie intends on spreading.

Jammy is in complete denial mode like the kerala Hindus are glad you atleast have a spine to speak up little
Finally, I got some comment which answered almost all the questions that comes in my mind after watching the trailer, ,,,:) Thanks dear , I just want to address the fact that this kind of people are found everywhere across the world and in every community.

I moved to a new house recently and some works were still pending.
Just say them I wanna go to hell and see their faces😅

Even in school we were all Taught to be respectful to everyone’s religion and be secular and embrace everybody but there was a ganesh pooja at our school and my friend who is jain, he was distributing prasad amongst everyone and as soon as he came to give the prasad to my muslim friend, she refused and said it’s haram in her religion and the next year when during EID she brought Shirkhurma for everybody we all had some and nobody refused…

Guys I am seeing a lot of true stories lf y’all in the comments and it is really scary that this has happened with me twice as well. I want to share my experiences one by one
Bro take care. This thing is very real but if someone points it out they will be labelled as hate-spreading person.
I am more concerned about the situation by reading through the comments rather than the chaos around the movies.
The incidents some people are sharing are downright scary.
Mostly fake, trying to prove their propoganda by sharing fake stories

Hi Jammy,
As a Hindu, i have heard things mentioned in the movie somewhere or the other in my 30 years of lifetime.

But as a country shouldn't we be ashamed that we're fighting on number rather than the main objective? Doesn't matter if it's 32K or 3 Girls. If it's happening it's a concern
@@beingaPrince true but that's clearly not the purpose of the movie. In the original trailer description of the movie, they clearly said that there is 32000 Kerala women who fell victim to this. The intention doesn't match what they hope to put forward. Keep in mind that Kerala is one of the few states that didn't get a political majority for the BJP. And the current film for how it's portrayed hopes to achieve that type of result. A quick skim through the trailer comment section would really prove that point

@@jayakishore565 the reason for that is the way most people think are not based on logic. Thats exactly what the initial trailer hoped and succeeded at achieving. Then they slyly removed it and changed it to 3 people. In fact the initial trailer description actually did say 32k Kerala women have faced this issue. Should the blatant lies be ignored just because half truths a given
@@jayakishore565 that's the best part about it. The intention of the movie is not to put the issue into the limelight. It had weak screen play, cringe dialogues, single dimensional characters and all the movie is doing is riding out the shock value in the subject. For the people who experience it, it strikes a cord that such talks do happen. On the flip side, it paints an entire state in that light.

@@vinayak6005 why should they term it Indian story if those who left for ISIS are from Kerala? Why should it be called Indian story if PFI has its stronghold in kerala? PFI openly challenged The people of Kerala who are of Hindu/Christian faith that they will be silenced for good. So instead of saying that this is for elections, why not my muslim brothers/sisters call out the jihadis and put an end to this? Isn't that a permanent solution?
It doesn't exist in a scale as it is being projected.
I just watched first show of the movie this and knowing that its a real story just left me speechless.. Just pray for that girls who suffered and those who are suffering.

A Malayalam movie called "2018", which is telling true "Kerala story" released on 5th may same day.
It is based on true disaster the flood
I disagree with the fact that any other lead actor would have done justice...Ada shined in the role..i felt myself crying many a times when she was in agony...others were good as well...
One question is why only you reply to the comments in your favour. Why you don't dare to respond to your critics. A critic who can't handle his own critics.
Leftists can't tolerate logic.
Agreed 👍
@Abhishek Singh true.
Trying to become famous?
*Just like Narendra Modi!* Never faces a real Interview from a real journalist or Press conference. Runs away from tough questions! Only gives scripted interviews to paid puppets of Godi Media! 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Was expecting a non biased review from jimmy. But more often than not when movies like these releases, jimmy takes his shield out and not admitting reality.
And he quite simply skips part where he needs to accept the reality by saying “i will come to that later.”
I am not against any religion or community, but closing your eyes towards something doesn’t mean that it doe doesn’t exist, it simply means you are not ready for reality check.
I literally said the same while expanding on the 32,000 issue. Just because the number is false, it doesn’t mean the problem doesn’t exist
@@TriedRefusedProductionsjammy u need to see the Speakers corner debates from Hyde park London… from decades some people are instigating hate towards hindus and other communities, with all those blasphemous comments as common
He is a movie reviewer he did his job... polarising reactions are given on this movie even without watching it based on individual perspective in the comments section...
@@TriedRefusedProductions What about the dialogues jinke bare tum complain kar rahe the those dialogues are the Reality. But you didn't accept that why?
Only bhakts cant understand what he said other normal people can easily understand.
As a malayali I cringed when I watched the trailer as it had the actress wear jasmine flower and dhaawani... No girl wear it unless it's a family/ religious/ marriage function.
It's a shame that you are cringing on your own culture
Kerala is another kashmir. Only thing stopping kerala becoming kashmir is because of Christians presence. Accept it or not. Majority Islam in ur state is not good. I don't know man. U guys won't understand. Anyway peace out
Jali kya hindu rituals follow krte hue dekha toh ? Leave it what to expect from a malayali so called educated literacy intellectual 👽
Okay...but do they join isis ?
Who will wear all these in dailylife... Bollywood always portray male South Indians with a white shirt and dhoti.... females with silk saree, Jasmine and chandana kuri in their forehead... atleast they should have done a little home work about our culture
Agreed 💯 💯
Wholly agree with you happening in every part of the state , Hyderabad is filled up till brim and so is now delhi muje pata nhi tha ki ek din they will hi jack vasant kunj jaise posh area where i am seeing every small skill worker or labourer workers as Muslims yaha tak ki ek doh masjid bhi hai till i was very small n used to come visit my grand father i never heard namaz sounds in this area for real they are nowhere a minority status.
Just see one of video blog by Davud Akhundzada in Goa. I live in the West and I have learnt in a hard way that for Muslims "Umah" >> country. I see Indian muslims givinge preference to Pakistanis then Indian and some even having converted their friendship to marriage realatiohsip .
I am sure mid east would be far worse and lot of indoctrination goes there
This is not my Kerala Story.
Why did they ban I then ???
@@anniasthamajius9927 ban what lol The Kerala Story is not banned in Kerala. Try to know your facts before commenting my friend.
The Movie is made with " Sole Intention of Evoking the Hatred in people's mind and heart " I would strongly assume it has been funded by Politics in some form or other.
No need for a movie, hating these good for nothing people is common sense and should be done by everyone.
If showing reality is hatred then let it be
Showing reality is wrong?
Stop radical abrahamic religious practies at the forefront, instead calling truth revealing incidents as propaganda..
As long as it's showing reality it's ok
Yeah i have experienced this as well not by muslims but by sikhs as i live in punjab a sikh majority state comments like mootpeene ( urine drinker ) are quite often used here i have sikh friends openly accepting that they hate temples
While i used to visit gurudwara with them quite often and hindus are always portrayed as poor people in Punjabi movies so eventually it led me to believe that nobody is dudh ka dhula hua everyone has hatred in his heart
Seriously!!?? did Jammy even understand the point of the entire movie?? The extreme attacks on religion and dialogue is a reality. What bubble do you live in? Great way of avoiding the topic instead of actually putting forward fair review.
In leftist/ bullywood bubble
Why most of banned org members r from Kerala. Sir harmony is only there when Hindus r are at the receiving end.
The nexus has been going on since 1995. All political parties including the past cpim chief minister of your mallu state as well as Congress leaders and pastors of biggest indian churches in india have addressed this issue as a threat to the state of kerela. But your ignorant ass would still think this a bjp rss propaganda. Heck, even british home minister issued a concern over the grooming gangs operating in england with same modus operandi. Not everything is a propaganda and conspiracy my ignorant friend
Oh plz…this is not about kerala versus rest of India…not one hindi public review talked bad about kerala as a state so stop making it like one….this ISIS thing is more in kerala compared to other states because ppl are closing their eyes to it in front of them..most literate state but literacy not working in malappuram where ppl are breeding like rabbits compared to other districts….decadal muslim population increasing by whopping 2 percent, just compare this to other states…kerala church periodically sounding love jihad alarms…ex CM which is the head of the state himself saying the state will turn islamic in 2 decades!
THIS IS NOTHING BUT EMERGENCY!
@@akshaysharma8940 Don't write nonsense Sharma ji. That's not what the former CM said. He was talking about the intention of PDP and not that the state will definitely become Muslim majority in future. The way you're twisting facts shows that you're more brainwashed than the IS psychos.
States which are breeding like rabbits are UP and Bihar and which are pulling India down in all indicators. Don't keep blaming Kerala and focus on your own states. 😜
Then why is it banned in your state brother?
ExMuslim Sahil is the boss 😅❤ He know this particular community much well whom this tried & refused guy is defending...on this kerla story. He met the vicitms on live man.
Jammy has slowly become a propaganda reviewer. Although the film talks about Kerala, it specifically mentions Kasaragod which Jammy conveniently misses. Kya gajab bik gaya hai Jammy.
I watched Caliphate (Netflix) which is on the same lines. It appears to be ISIS modus operandi. The issue of conversion & radicalization is a real one & needs to be acknowledged. However, this topic also needs delicate & honest handling of the subject
Good review ANUPAMA 🥵🥵🥵..Now I will definitely watch the movie

We don't judge people by religion. That's why kerala is called God's own country!

Brother then why there is so much police force is being kept outside every theater that's playing the kerala story and why deliberately the movie kerala story shows are getting canceled across kerala if there is no such fear
Good joke.
God you mean the abrahamic god there is no god in shavism , vaishnavism, budhism , jainism . That tells a lot about the naive intellectual cover that a lot of indians don themselves with.
