Breaking cultural barrier with Kahar Saidun, Malaysia’s IP Man

Wing Chun, a traditional Chinese martial art that was introduced during the Qing Dynasty by a Shaolin Kung Fu Master Ng Nui, existed in southern China since tercentennial ago.
Known as one of the most effective martial arts in the world by focusing on the power of relaxation instead of force, Wing Chun was introduced to Malaysia (Malaya) in 1918 by Grandmaster Yip Kin Wing Choon Kuen when he migrated to Malaya at the age of 35.
Currently, in Malaysia, we too have our very own Wing Chun Master.
Known as the IP MAN Melayu (Malay), Kahar Saidun has been practising Wing Chun since 1991 when he was only 18 years old.
