Any stylist should regularly attend continuing education classes no matter how long you’ve been doing hair. Simply because like everything else products, science and methods evolve. Continue to be your best and you will keep your clients forever.
I wish people would know this is true about a lot of professions. There are tons of job where you are required to keep educating yourself, or you will simply do damage along the way. It's also in jobs that you wouldn't expect it to be this way. And people often don't have a chance but to educate themselves. Cos their is no one to give you a lesson. They gotta learn from life... Sadly most people don't do that. Our world would be so different if they did... The pandemic would be long over of they did. We wouldn't have 2 wars going on and a third starting. We would have that freak nut job being out there getting votes again. We wouldn't have to worry about a certain psychopath being sneaky. List goes on. I am sorry to have killed the mood. It's just one of these days...and I am stuck to my apartment for almost 14 months now...having no treatment whatsoever and just waiting to get better. Aaaand I wish I could find a hairdresser who wouldn't rip out half my hair when I just asked for a trim.
I love how after over 800k subs, you share all types of experiences, not just successes. Even if you didn't show the FINAL result, you were still vulnerable and open to honest feedback unlike most content creators
Blonding and ashy colors used to be my struggle! I ended up taking alot of friends in and practicing at the salon, now its my favorite service to do. We all learn from our mistakes! Looks so beautiful ❤️
It’s definitely a goal of mine this year - I stay away from blondes so much because it’s such a meticulous area of hair but man do I want to make it my life goal to perfect
It so interesting seeing Stella not in her element she always seems like she knows what she’s doing and she does to an extent here but it’s also something new for her.❤
I really appreciate how honest you are with us and that you take us on the journey with you and your friend 💛💛 " Mistakes are just lessons we haven't learnt yet"
This video has taught me to be more patient with my hairdressers. Mostly I am not satisfied when leaving an appointment. But your video has showed that hair styling is so divers and that even an excellent stylist as yourself always learns sth new. So thanking you for sharing this 😄
Yes as a dog groomer its good to attend siminars as refreshers or for haircuts you rarely do just to have the knowledge. Also there are always a New technique that came out that might help you in a way like making things easier. Ofcourse attending seminars even online ones are expensive but they are an investment for sure
OMG i love how hard you try to improve yourself! You are not fond of blond hair but you still see your weakness and try to make it better. Also the result is of course not the best, it was your first try after all, but it really really is a good outcome!° I am happy to see how you are going to teach me with your experiments and maybe i find some things i want to try on my own hair
Love this new version of Stella. Real and transparent, not acting like everything is perfect and lovely. Accountability and honesty suits you Stella😃👍🏻
Ahhhh I didn't realize you're from Malta. I lived there from 1978 - 1982 and consider Malta my home. I had very blonde hair in Malta, most of it was due to the sea and the sun. Grazzi ħafna.
I really like these videos. You learn so much from it. I hope you try the mineral remover and document it. Now I want to know for sure if that os the answer
After using high lift you have to highlight on top of it to get rid of the yellow. We just did my roots at work with high lift and it worked great and now I’m going to highlight my top to get rid of any yellow
Oml I love that red wig ur wearing💕also I feel like I learned at lot and feel like I could fix my hair if I ever decided to lighten my hair at home thanks 😻
Stylist here! You’re going to want a lower volume developer w Igora vibrance usually a 6 vol developer for more deposit. That could be why the roots are getting more of a ‘bright’ ash at the root. Again I’m not 100% clear on what your friends goal is for her hair (I could be mistaken). But you did amazing keep working at it! Practice will make perfect 🤍🤍🤍
Loved this ❤also, just a tiny critique - i feel like theres a blue/teal saturation boost to the video in general. I feel like tossing that would show off your results a lot better ❤
You're Welcome & I hoping you come up with new year hair color & hair design. My new year look I color my hair pastel pink.... But it fade right now lol😘😘😘
Don't forget about any sort of medication, even past meds. Something as simple as prenatal vitamins can deposit new minerals into the hair. I once had a client whose medication had been changed. Her color came out totally different. I started questioning, it took about 10 minutes to get to the medicine change. We changed her formula to account for the undesired tones. Chelating is always a good idea when changing color. 😘❤️
Highly recommend @Bobby Hair Studio’s videos (youtube.com/@BobbyHairStudio?si=6g9r82CwWxPQi9XN). She goes through her foiling pattern and placement depending on different desired outcomes and goes through all her formulas and timings. It’s amazing to watch.
Honestly if you take clear and 20 volume permanent clear color for about 10 minutes it will take out all that really muddy color of toner buildup on her ends , just have to be careful it doesn’t lift her natural hair .😊 It will look warm after wards but that warmth will help when you’re toning to keep her a bright beautiful blonde .
How well I know it from my own life- paper without experience is nothing. I finished sociology, counselling, and two yoga teacher trainings, 200h each and I am not a specialist in any of those because I lack experience. So I never call myself a sociologist, Counsellor, or Yoga teacher. I love hair coloring and experimenting with all hair related since I was 13, and now I'm 41. I'm more of a specialist in that area than any I have paper for. And because I lack training and in-salon experience in hair colororing or cutting I make similar mistakes to Stella.
Alot of hairdressers won't try and colour, bleach or anything if the client has been using silicon based products like Pantene shampoo and conditioner because they coat the hair.
Happy New Year 🎊🎊🎊🎊 and so Happy to see you back in 2024 ❤❤❤ Your hair grows like crazy and very thick and shiney 😊😊 Guess someone is taking her vitamins and drinks water 💦😊 I jave always rhought that all.oir life you learn and that having external support - even if it's from UA-cam page matters so much for your peace and confidence . You are very dedicated to this profession and you take good care of your clients - not just for money. The fact that you made an entire vlog on this says a lot. Congrats 🎉👏
Everyone makes mistakes but with someone else's hair this can not be good and for some of us it can be devastating sorry to say there are some of us that have a strong mental psychic to our hair and it can be difficult to handle when a stylist messes it up because one BAD decision and it can take months of looking and living with what they did and it happens often and please don't say it's just HAIR because to us it means more to then that 😥 You do so much to your hair I believe you do not have a strong tie to it for sure that nothing really bothers you when it comes to your hair decisions you go with the flow while others are strongly connected and some of us have been truly traumatized because of what had happened to us with our hair many because of what a stylist decided to do or other trauma that has entered our lives giving the control to someone trusting they won't mess it up means a lot to those who have strong ties to their HAIR if the person who's cutting or coloring your hair is unsure or the opposite is over confident like gregarious RUN And hey Stella on another note can I ask why you put a line on your eyes you have really pretty eyes and hey we're ALL getting older this to me makes your eyes look like you have a droopy lid and it ages you I think eyeliner on the top above the lashes is best me myself I'm not into waterline makeup or under the lashes once in awhile I guess but for me I just do the top lash area the idea is to keep our eyes looking BIG and youthful and your natural colored eyes are a really pretty color colored contacts look so unnatural at times they're COOL once in awhile or for a holiday why not show off what the good Lord gave you just a thought 😘
After years of watching you put absolutetly anything on your hair and just going with whatever result comes out because you put on nice makeup and are pretty, you are finally seeing that this process doesnt work on someone that wants a specific outcome.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, it gives me a very good idea of how different products and techniques perform on different bases but it is a very different skill to aim for a very specific result vs just trying something out and seeing what happens
. Suggestions from a 45 years fake blonde italian lady that she is blonde since she was 15.( my natural colour is a level 4/5 ash with an incredible amount of red pigments in)When you tone prefer a 11 ice toner. 10 volume. Work magic. For the rest you did your best. Carry on.❤🎉

It wasn’t the hard water she just doesn’t know how to do hair. Should have filled the root before toning it ash. So many mistakes made along the way it could have turned out good if you had had more experience behind the chair.
But isn’t that the point of this video? Stella wants more experience doing things she’s not that experienced in, that’s why she tried this. There is a way to give helpful and polite criticism.
Any stylist should regularly attend continuing education classes no matter how long you’ve been doing hair. Simply because like everything else products, science and methods evolve. Continue to be your best and you will keep your clients forever.
I totally agree! Definitely a must have since it’s natural that with time we shift into our comfort zone and stop making and effort to learn more

Aiming for full transparency!
I’m a simple woman, I don’t need much to be happy. When Stella uploads a new video, I’m happy.
Blonding and ashy colors used to be my struggle! I ended up taking alot of friends in and practicing at the salon, now its my favorite service to do. We all learn from our mistakes! Looks so beautiful ❤️
I would love to see you work on more blonde hair and see the progression over time and see you grow confidence in it over time
It’s definitely a goal of mine this year - I stay away from blondes so much because it’s such a meticulous area of hair but man do I want to make it my life goal to perfect
It so interesting seeing Stella not in her element she always seems like she knows what she’s doing and she does to an extent here but it’s also something new for her.❤
Definitely new for me - I shy away from blonde completely but I’m getting out of my comfort zone and attempting it this year

More to come!
Really like watching the trial and error. Very interesting learning about the process.
I’m happy to share!

I wondered if you'd mention my comment in the video, but I was still surprised you included it. I'm touched, Stella :) Made my day.

You can also just use vinegar for the ward water/mineral deposits. It works 😊
Your hair looks awesome, that length suits you the best!
I could literally listen to you reading the phone book. Love all your hair journeys...success or failure.
As my dearly departed Papa would say, "remain teachable".

Yes it was that! I ended up doing her hair once more after this and used a mineral remover that lifted that old pigment from the ends
After using high lift you have to highlight on top of it to get rid of the yellow. We just did my roots at work with high lift and it worked great and now I’m going to highlight my top to get rid of any yellow

Love your classy style in this video. Can’t wait for all the videos to come
Hey Stella! Adore the nail polish, can I ask what it is?
Wow the girl you did is soooo gorgeous! ❤
Alot of hairdressers won't try and colour, bleach or anything if the client has been using silicon based products like Pantene shampoo and conditioner because they coat the hair.
don't tone with 10 vol :) choose a lower developer.
I was totally digging for that silver!! A beautiful accident!!

I have very warm dark hair. It takes a lot to bleach my hair
You are so beautiful! Where did you get your sweater?

You do so much to your hair I believe you do not have a strong tie to it for sure that nothing really bothers you when it comes to your hair decisions you go with the flow while others are strongly connected and some of us have been truly traumatized because of what had happened to us with our hair many because of what a stylist decided to do or other trauma that has entered our lives giving the control to someone trusting they won't mess it up means a lot to those who have strong ties to their HAIR if the person who's cutting or coloring your hair is unsure or the opposite is over confident like gregarious RUN
And hey Stella on another note can I ask why you put a line on your eyes you have really pretty eyes and hey we're ALL getting older this to me makes your eyes look like you have a droopy lid and it ages you
I think eyeliner on the top above the lashes is best me myself I'm not into waterline makeup or under the lashes once in awhile I guess but for me I just do the top lash area the idea is to keep our eyes looking BIG and youthful and your natural colored eyes are a really pretty color colored contacts look so unnatural at times they're COOL once in awhile or for a holiday why not show off what the good Lord gave you just a thought 😘
Interesting how stella's hair seems noticeably lighter. But not not red. Seems like she's been trying to get that henna out.
It did fade! I didn’t do anything to it to lighten in but it has faded beautifully as most dye products do
@@StellaCini OK

Your eye color it's so pretty 😍
They’re lenses! 🩷
Other that the gray hairline it looks great!
😍😍
Love those shoes!!
Looks better but the hairline looks too grey and it doesn’t seem to suit her face that well
You're Maltese? I am an avid fan but always guessed you maybe to be German

are you a qualified stylist Stella? I didn’t know this
I think she's said herself in a different video that she's qualified but lacks experience as she's never worked in a salon (and that's where hairstylists REALLY learn)
Yes! But experience is so much more valuable so this year I’m working on that
yikes! she aged from looking in her 20's to 45/50's...
Yikes! What a gross comment
