Great video Jimmy, no one likes a sticky flap , I once went out my local mot station where a repair was being carried out on a range rover throttle body , but now lumpy idle , did a smoke test and found that the throttle body elbow was nut fully home not allowing the clip to lock in thus allowing an air leak on the same , your channel is very informative for many ,wether in our job or the general public , have a great Christmas and New year ❤

That Land Rover looks like a beast of a tank. Makes me want to px my prius and get a diesel tank with dpf filter problems or not i dont care any more. Diesel wins.

Jimmy thanks for your videos. I was going to ask you to come and look at one for me that wouldnt start, but realised as your in biggleswade its 10 miles more than you will cover. Thankfully thanks to your vids, its running , dpf clean, next job is back pressure sensor (merc). Only dissapointment is you taken the tits of the end of your videos, I was liking those . Dont forget to put your ring on the flaps ;)

Question- I have a 2017 Discovery Sport 2.0T Gasoline (USA) engine and I am attempting to clean the throttle body and honestly I can't seem to find it unless it is under the intake. Would you know how I would access this? Do I have to remove the intake manifold? I enjoyed your videos

All these DPF videos scares me... How can we prevent having a clogged DPF?
I try to avoid using my 1.5 Transit Connect for very short trips whenever possible, and when I notice it is regenerating I let it finish, although the notice appears for a split second and not easy to spot.
Perhaps any fuel additives? Or are they useless?

Hi Jimmy, great videos, not seen a low pressure EGR before! From your description it looks like the feed pipe is tee'd into the exhaust after the DPF. Do you have to do anything to prevent the cleaning fluid going up it?
Will stucked Shut off valve (throttle body) in diesel influnce DPF regeneration? Honda CRV 1.6D has always opened ISV (Intake Shut of Valve) and problem with regeneration.
Jimmy, what kind of plier did you use to remove the EGR hose clamp connecting the throttle body?

Does it wash out the ash, not just the soot? Should you really let this detergent go to turbo and further into the engine? Can you do dynamic pressure reading before and after cleaning on the 4th or 6th gear at full throttle? Thanks

I seen you use to use a brake pressure bottle to push dpf fluid into dpf . How do you find that compared to using the compressor. Also any value for money compressors to use battery powered as otherwise I would have to hook up to main power to use normal compressor ?
Brake pressure bottle I had adapted but still nowhere near as a good as this proper kit

I'm stuck in Italy and have p0488 72 code on obd. Is it worth to try clean egr valves like you showed on other video? I have disco 4 2012 3.0 diesel. I'm pulling my hair out. Is it worth it to try to fix it my self or is just left visiting professional mechanic.

It only blocks because you have a problem elsewhere, so no, it won’t be cleaned on service. They clean themselves otherwise

Wonder why they give you £70 for a lump of scrap plastic? 🤔. (SARC/OFF) 🤭. Robbin bar- stewards 🥴
So they can spend £10 fitting a new shaft and flap and then flog it off for ££££ again to the poor customers that have to pay for Land Rovers design flaws.
