Great video, I've never seen a review of this song from an outsiders point of view before! If you like this song, I recommend checking out the bard/tavern music from the same game, as well as the scores from all the games. Personally, I love the song because of how it fits into the narrative, it takes place at a low-point in the story (basically the end of act 1) and the song marks a turning point for the plot.

So this is from a scene right after your first base is destroyed, you barely get away from the main villain of the game. The context is, you have nothing, and hope seems lost.
