Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.!!

After experimenting with stocks since late 2021, I've shifted to 100% S&P 500. Still regretting not doing so from the start. Now i am Considering a return to individual stocks in 2024, but uncertain about safely investing close to 300k in the market.
Everyone needs a Margin of Safety in their portfolios and just remember, It's time in the market versus timing the market.

De-risk your portfolios, shore up your core holdings, and take some profits while balancing your portfolio allocations. I’d also suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary

It got down to $260 in the Feb. earnings sell-off. I didn't nail the bottom perfectly but I got a nice big position around there.
Paloalto is a great company that I know from my day job but only own few due to liquidity problems 😅😊
Paloalto also have diversified network equipment as opposed to just firewall hardware. I see that as a great advantage over other software (sAAs) focus cybersecurity businesses.
Don't think is right to say fortinet is losing. They are not entirely same business and as user of fortinet firewall. Definitely they are better and having better service. On top of that palto is net debt, fortinet is net cash. Maybe next time please DO AN INDEPTH HOMEWORK before commenting saying fortinet losing market share

Long term hold of mine, CRWD is totally overvalued in-comparison.
I personally would stay away from cyber security sector. Mainly because there is no clear sector leader, and this is a winner take most sector, choose the wrong stock will cause massive lost. Also the competition is very fierce in this sector, u also got cisco, huawei, checkpoint, etc.
not a fan of the dilution. better businesses out there imo.

This stock is not so new though, but I love your analysis. I've been an investor in Tesla because I strongly believe in the company. I've always believed in the stock, but now I don't know whether to re-distribute my $70k portfolio and put some money in Nvidia.
Both stocks have a long term potential. The most important thing is the ratio of the distribution based on the financials of each company. There are many other companies that are also doing well. You could just hire a financial advisor to guide you.
I agree. A financial advisor really does help me do the distribution even between different asset classes. I don't even understand technical financial terms much. I just know I make really good profit, and I don't have to stress myself a lot.
