Classic Richard Hammond. Never change Richard, never change.
Love that rear wheel lockup before turning left, Hammond on bikes = win win
I agree
@@roscoeknight8 I seen that wee wiggle too.
People say sport bikes age badly... This is not one of those sport bikes...
Spot on bought my new in 2000 still have it and ride it ....
I think they age great, not a ton of difference over the years..appearance wise.
AGREE.just like a 2001 gsx-R1000 it looks undeniably SUPER.slab side and bobby looks doesn't cut-it.
yeah other than the tail light i think it hasn't really aged much. it has kind of aged like a 18year old ages to 25 which is just a little bit
Man how I wish this guy and may would start doing bike stuff
My first brand new motorcycle was an identical to this yellow 2000 GSX-R 750. Wish I didn't sell it 6 years later.
Even now they still look great
Hammond. Looks like a toddler on the road. Brilliant
Lost the back end there Richard hahahha
lol that ending
WORD! 😂😂🤣
almost got whipped at 1:30 lol
Had to do a retake 😵😂😂
LOVE MY 03 GSXR 600 SUPER FUN 👍
Have an 03 600 Gixxer also and it's amazing even after aprox 40,000 miles!
I have a 2003 gsxr600 too but looking for a 1000 the same model i find the 600 slow
Great vid … great bikes ..: the 750 is the best all round sports bike of all time… the k6 is literally epic
I have a black and yellow 03 with an M4 pipe and it keeps a smile on parts of my body other than my face..❤🤣🤣😆😆
I really hope that little old man he saw was James May
Wrong, the stubby nosed slabside is the prettiest of all the gsxr's. It also has the best power delivery imo, very 2 stroke and I love it
slabby rider SRAD was most beautiful. Like a rocketship
I'm sorry but the mk1 gsxr was light very light I know because I own one first year 1985 and it's a brilliant little thing. Plenty of power for backroads and city riding because it's so easy to ride under 8k rpm. first 2 minutes was pure bollocks in my opinion the slabside gives that 750 and all gsxr 750s a good run for their money (looks wise and lightness, power not so much compared to the newer ones but still an absolute joy to ride)
l ho da diversi anni ed e sempre la mia preferita su tutte le altre moto per quanto molto belle e potenti la mia suzuki gsxr e la mia preferita in assoluto sia come aspetto estetico che come motore
Excellent vid. She’s a keeper.
The slabby looked great
Yes.. this one. I love it
Hammond says that 2000 GSXR750 is lighter than the 1980's one, even though that one he's reviewing weighs wet about 190kg and the 80's one weighs about 180kg wet
GSXR 750H (87) was 188kg curb weight. My 2000 was 191kg curb weight. 3kg difference but amazingly light compared to the competition of the time!
isn't the bike like 350-360 lbs? That's not that heavy compared to some 600s ive seen like the Kawasaki 636. I think that's like 400+ lbs
Super výklad suzuki ❤❤❤😊😊💪💪🍻🍻
Still a very strong motor.
£7500 was steep in 2000. I saw a gsxr1000 brand new in 2008 for £7995,
Since when did Richard Hammond review bikes
Maxx Droid
He actually is very well known for his passion for bikes. In several Top Gear episodes he defends bikers and bikes against Jeremy Clarksons distaste of motorcycles.
Had no idea
@@jj-tq4hx Clarkson is a perfect example of Redundant little man ..
Suzuki's flag ship model and designed GSX R
Actually, from 1999 onwards, the flagship was the GSX1300R
But the 750 was the bike that made Suzuki and was always honored as such by its brand, even when, from 2003 onwards, the liters took over the role as the 'competition bikes'
The GSX R750 the Industry Flag Ship started it all @@Nightdare
injection ?
Yes
En otros modelos de Suzuki no lo se,pero en las GSXR la última vez que utilizaron carburadores fue en 1997,en 1998 comenzaron con la inyección electrónica.
7813 for a new 01 750, man I am old.
Super NYC look
It's not an SRAD
yes it is, he even mentioned the intake tubes
Miles Prower no actually the srad was the model before this one this is a k1
@@clemfandango7175
Technically, everything from 1996 onward is an SRAD
@@clemfandango7175 the k1 also has the srad
@@t16205 happy to be wrong 😑 hahaha

Bought mine 2003 for 1.7 and she’s a stunner

Typical Hammond, nearly binned it.
Desde adolescente a sido mi cilindrada favorita,LAS 750R.
