- Priscilla Presley spoke with Terry Wogan live via satellite link shortly after the release of her book, Elvis and Me, about her relationship with her late husband, Elvis Presley.
She discusses moving to Graceland at 15, whether her relationship with Elvis was "normal" and the treatment she received from his legions of female fans.
Priscilla also talks about playing Jenna Krebbs on Dallas.

Years ago I worked for a cleaning company in Killeen, Texas. Her brother was stationed there at Ft. Hood. In the hallway of his home were pictures of Elvis and Priscilla when they were young. He had family pictures all over his home, pretty cool.

I could have sworn she was 16. I remembered wrong I suppose because everything I read online says 17 and she moved in 1963.
So strange how you have a clear memory of something you read over and over and then find out online that nope, you don't remember that.
Maybe I heard it in an Interview with Priscilla where she said she was 16 or maybe I'm just totally wrong or mandella effected myself!!!! Lol.
@@LeeannaSloan The German and US Papers at the time stated she was 16 years of age. They had to have been told that age because had they done their own research into what age Priscilla actually was at that time, they would have discovered a whole different storrie and by far a far more sleazier scoop than Elvis Presley dating a 16 year old. Also, how is it the press knew exactly where to be to take that infamous photograph of Priscilla waving if they had not been told? I think Priscilla lied to Elvis about her age; In her book she's always going on about how she was desperate to make herself appear older; and I think she then had to lie to the press otherwise Elvis would have known her true age and she most definitely would never have seen him again. If only Elvis had been open and honest at the time about his relatrionship with Priscilla - she would never have got a look in.

in her letters from germany priscilla was the one who was begging elvis to call her dad so she could move to memphis while he was away in LA filming fun in acapulco

she lies about not being with anyone before meeting elvis, and not dating anyone at all protesting for years until they met again years later. that’s when all of her boyfriends from that time in germany came out after the book was released and said quite the opposite of what was written. miss beaulieu was quite busy with the boys after elvis left for america. which would’ve been fine if she didn’t lie, manipulate and scapegoat others in the process just to keep up her false image.
she was not sulking and starving herself. she was playing two guys at once and the list goes on. in her book she wrote that she even gained weight in 1962 when she was going to see him again for the first time. how could that be if she was starving herself 🤔
anyways, i could go on and on about the lies and sensationalism from that book. moral of the story: priscilla lies.

@@flammenjc he wasn’t around her when she was 15. she was living in germany and elvis was living in the states, she didn’t see elvis again until summer of 1962 when she was 17. she also lied about her age when they met in germany according to news articles, joe esposito (her best friend) and an interview with elvis from 1960 they all thought she was 16 when she was actually 14. regardless he still turned her down/told her she was too young when she was begging for intimacy.

This was the next big tell all book after the Albert Goldman mess. She is sticking to her script "Elvis & Me" yet at times she strays contradicting her book.
Can't believe Lisa read it without a ton of questions. The 80s the era of women taking control, psychology is accepted and complaining about a man that provided for you your whole adult life is ok and here it is being camouflaged by her sweet tiny voice and beautiful appearance. She's very captivating but pay attention to what is really happening. In contrast to The example of Ann Margret and Linda Thompson.
She's Very defensive like someone who knows when being challenged they are correct in their questions. This man actually read the book and remembered it. I read it 3 times when it came out and thought she sounded like a spoiled brat throughout it.
Lisa was furious with the director . She understood how this generation would view her father. The movie is a rehash of the TV movie I thought it was about Cilla but we learn nothing new

I've been trying for years to tell people and have gotten slammed with hate comments and complaints, it's unfortunate that it took Lisa Marie's death to expose it to those that were blinded.
I thought her book sounded loving. It was the things she has said after that in interviews and what she has had put in her movies.
