We went to Silverstone, the home of the F1 in the UK

We booked an overnight stay at the onsite Hilton hotel, fortunately on a day where there was some racing.
We watched the racing from the bar whilst we waited for our room to be readied, and then had a nice surprise to have our room upgraded to a suite over looking the start/finish.
The racing was still going on when we got into our room so we could sit on our balcony and watch the rest of the racing.
The following morning after breakfast we made our way over to the museum and spent a couple of hours in there although the video only shows a small amount of things in the museum.
The museum was £25 each for adults, but because we stayed at the hotel we took advantage of the 50% off offer for the 3 of us.
Although I’m not a massive motorsport fan, it was a great stay getting so close to where so many famous drivers and riders have been, and also getting to learn the history of the circuit which was once an RAF base.
