Jeffco’s Outdoor Lab: Nature’s Classroom Connects All Our Students

Jeffco's Outdoor Lab is one of the most unique
and transformative experiences a young person can receive
while growing up in Jeffco. There are very few outdoor programs
in the country that operate at a scale as large, have such inspirational
and emotive campuses, provide the length of programing and tie back to the classes
being taught at home schools. But beyond the lessons
of environmental science, natural history, communication and team building,
there's an underlying process through which Outdoor Lab is rendered meaningful and forever memorable
in the lives of the participants. This is true for the attending sixth graders, the high school
leaders, interns and teachers alike.
