Today's video, is about a very interesting Yamaha, which was developed to be an excellent platform for customization.
It is known by several different names like: Yamaha Bolt, Yamaha Star Bolt, Yamaha XV 950 Bolt, or Yamaha SCR950(Scrambler).
This video, explains how far you can go, to customize all these Yamaha models, showing one of the best Cafe Racers transformations I've seen, with the Yamaha bolt, and built under the Yamaha Yard Build program.
The custom Yamaha Bolt Cafe Racer presented on this video, was built in Germany, by WalzWerk Motorcycles.
Marcus Walz is the founder of the company, and it is also the maestro behind the team who make people's dreams become a reality.
I am sure you will like it.
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my English.

This is great insight for anyone wanting to purchase or already owns a Yamaha Bolt and wanting to convert it into a Cafe Racer. Yamaha has essentially eliminated all the cutting and welding of the rear section by simply allowing anyone to purchase item #25 in the parts diagram shown (7:27) and BOLTING it on. All hail Yamaha for simplicity.
Only Racer TV could bring back an 8 year old Cafe Racer from the past and showcase its beauty in today's eyes. Bravo! For reminding us that WalzWerk great design has stood the test of time.

Tivemos episódios filosóficos e estéticos, históricos e emocionais, e agora técnico...
Sempre é esclarecedor saber como foram solucionados os entraves e surpresas ao desmontar uma estrutura, E só se aprende batendo a cara no óbvio.
Continue, aguardamos a próxima semana!
Obrigado amigo Alex pelo seu sempre grande apoio :) Um abraço.
Nice video Racer. WalzWerk Motorcycles did a excellent job with the bolt, i will never look at them the same way again. Have a great weekend and ride safe mate. Cheers
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. You too. :) Cheers.
Parabéns por mais um excelente vídeo!!! Ótimo trabalho de edição!!!
Obrigado amigo pelo simpático comentário. :) Um abraço.
We have seen cafe racers with many engine configurations, some of them excellent and some not so much, all depends on the skills of the builder to modify the frame and keep the lines under proportion.
On this particular case I personally like the proportions and general lines of a proper cafe racer, "but"😂, do not stand out or difiere much of some Viragos that I have seen on this channel.
Thank you for bringing up this video, as a discussion topic is very interesting!!
Great work Victor!!, keep it up!!👍🏻
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. My choice of this project for a video, is mainly to demonstrate the best solution, to achieve a good cafe racer stance, using a "difficult" cruiser like the Bolt model. Thank you Carlos :) Cheers.
Nice
This is trully amazing! Would love to see what a daring mind would do going against the tides with a Kawasaki Vulcan, being a cruiser and all...
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Beautiful bike. Very creative and a practical build. I own a Harley 2020 roadster xl1200cx and would love to see it rebuilt into a cafe racer on your channel.
Congratulations
Great video
Intéressant! Merci mon ami!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Salute

@Mark Dream, and it will happen. It always worked with me.

this, is my ultimate dream built bike (read in racer tv tone please)
Loool. Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Markus Walz is a great custom bike builder and his "El ratón asesino" bike is an immortal caferacer. Yamaha won a garage designer with Markus Walz.
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Very nice machine , it looks like you might have your next project bike .
Lol. Yes, that Photoshop project is very tempting. :) Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
Always enjoy your videos which gave me the inspiration back in 2016 to build my V twin cafe Racer. #Manxley
@yamaha please build such motorcycles in series.
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
Original já é incrível, customizada ficou animal! Like e inscrito
Love your videos ❤️
Thank you my friend for your support. :) Cheers.
I like the sound. Not too big.
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
@@RACER_TV i mean the exhaust 🤣
What a beautiful platform with perfect air cooled v twin power..being ultra critical, id say that the swing arms are a bit too long for optics and handling…I am certain that the wheelbase was critical for yamaha to maintain and a challenge for the builder…
Buena moto.
Excelente video
Thank you my friend for your support. :) Saludos.
Ficou muito bom, ótimo trabalho, top top demais
Obrigado amigo. Fico contente que tenha gostado. :) Um abraço.
Sweet
brutal, eu ainda não encontrei a minha para o meu projeto !
Yaa. Suspensions is very very important
Tenho trabalhado numa solução levemente similar de subquadro na minha CB 400n.
Top .....
I wish the headlight is aligned with the tank
I would like to share by email the recently transformed Honda Rebel 250cc. Into a Brat-Cafe, Created in Mexico by a mechanic friend of mine in his old school workshop.
I own a cafe racer converted Yamaha bolt c-spec. It's such a fun bike to ride, I have a blast everytime I get on it. However, it's uncomfortable as sin and it hurts to do more than 30 minutes straight. It tops out at 120mph despite having a full two brother's system, power commander, flashed ecu, and k&n intake. I'm a daily commuter so unfortunately, the discomfort isn't worth the miniscule performance benefits.
Dig it, only thing I’m not a fan of is the exhaust. It doesn’t conform to the shape of the engine block.
Yes its a yamaha trying to be a Dyna or an FX Harley . Lol ....seriously i would not mind having one ..in street tracker style . As a matter of fact at a local multi dealer called Thompson's Motorsports . Built a street tracker that must of been from this model of yamaha V-Twin. Painted Yamaha blue with the traditional broken block stripe on each side of the tank . They sold it for $15,000 ...it looked factory
I loved so much this cafe racer, for years. Despite the oddity that is the Bolt Racer, I liked this motorcycle too.
But, the SCR was a nonsense: too high, the exhaust was too low, general lines was weird. It was widely criticized when it was released
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
I know this Guy he was a big harley customizer who almost build bikes just for Sebastian Vettel
Very interesting. I didn't know that. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
We mes yamaha motorcycle. So. U welcome
I can't find video in which you said Beauty or modification is summation that all part working together that nothing need to be added
@Mithilesh Gangawane I think is this one: ua-cam.com/video/nFPuBoZ100A/v-deo.html&ab_channel=RACERTV

Where’s the xs650?

I don't know, for me a "V" engine is not something that is part of a Cafe Racer, especially the one of the Yamaha Bolt that is almost identical in its appearance to that of a Harley Davison or so it seems to me. It was a motorcycle that resembled everything without resembling anything. Ugly as a sin. But beyond the engine, which is certainly splendid, the bike looks totally magnificent in this revival and the classic Yamaha stripes are a hit, an ugly duckling reborn as an eagle. Now the bike seems to say "I am music." And indeed music is. In that the engine is a total and perfect instrument.
Thank you my friend Alejandro for sharing your V Twin perspective. :) Saludos.
Probably all those Care Racer bikes presented on this channel have two things in common. 1. They are the most unergonomic and impractical bikes ever created. 2. They look good until someone sits on them and rides them, then they usually look plain stupid. Original Cafe Racers were just stripped down and modified bikes for practical reason: to make them faster. Today it is just about the looks. Poser machines for egomaniacs is all they are.
With none of them you would Ride further then the next two gellaterias.
Mine is Not the perfekt Cafe Racer. But a 500 Mile Tour ist no Problem.
100% in agreement, most of them are built with a blank cheque , with no cost in mind, basically defeating the purpose
El asiento café racer le quita estabilidad a el parrillero, o acompañante, también sacrifica diseño cómo lo que es esta motocicleta, una bolt con uno de los mejores motores que a creado la yamaha

I like the Yamaha bolt but as a cafe racer I think they should change it up with the seat and stop doing the same old basic boring shape... I would make the seat bigger wider and more curvy....
ボルトは良いバイクだがエアクリーナーが膝に当たって痛い
The bike is well made but it is too loud
Hey RacerTV you have been on UA-cam for 16 years now, shouldn't you use your own voice now instead of using this robotic voice?
Hi. Not exacly. This Channel began only in 2013. Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds really very real and professional, for most non-English Speakers.:) Cheers.
Most projects are never street legal in Europe. Where did the battery go? Within the tank?
Where did the airbox go? Noisy inlets?
Ha, the subframe? It needs tons of expensive paperwork!
I think the idiotic laws are the limiting factors not the skills or fantasy.
Yes, that is precisely why I showed the SCR model, as te perfect bike model for a Cafe Racer Project. :) Cheers.
Japanese products shuld come back from. Japan
Eu acho que estragou a estética da moto
Do you need a narrator ?

@@RACER_TV I figured that from your description thanking a friend for translation help. I have helped some other channels with this and they had a similar response. There’s always going to be an outspoken response to any change, and it will usually be negative, but you can’t give up right away due to that. They won’t stop watching, whereas many people do stop watching when they hear the computerized voice because it’s associated with very low quality videos, and your videos are way too good to have anyone thinking they’re not quality. So yea I’d say the positive outweighs the negative drastically. Just look at how many views you get, so if a couple hundred people react negatively in the comments to the switch away from the robin voice that’s still not even a remotely significant % of your views/viewers. Anyway if you ever want to give it a try let me know. I’m also happy to help with the English part, as a native speaker and grammar nerd. Don’t get me wrong, Your English is already pretty damn good though…I only caught one wrong phrase in this video.
Awful, I refuse to listen to a robot "talking"

Wow, the most boring narration ever.

The good news is that I have already found a perfect artificial voice for my channel, which is very realistic in the emotion with which it speaks every word. Try to hear it on this link: ua-cam.com/video/r6KDtfJ9kwM/v-deo.html :) Cheers.
No offence meant, thanks for taking the time to respond, I wasn't aware of issues like this. 👍
@stevefry25 No problem. I am glad you understand the situation. Thank you. Cheers :)
What’s your IG?
I just find this narrator's (he voices way to much crap) voice 5o he annoying!

@@RACER_TV and so, I hear it on everything. Should I like it because of some reason that doesn't have anything to do with being annoying?
It looks really bad. Horrible
