It's a great tune that has rock ballad flavors. It also features the song in both french and english. Is it a knockout? No, but it is quite ok. See my first time react now!

This was the combination of a good looking guy, a nice song that was very different from ANYTHING else at the time, and a "mood" at that time (also nice lyrics and nice voice). It came at the right moment and was hugely successful at the time (HUGELY SUCCESSFUL). But it was kind of a one-hit wonder. He never hit it that big again (it would have been hard to do). From an American POV, it's not a special song. There are many songs like that in Country music. But in French, it was an unusual song and it really caught people's attention.

Its just a nice little love ballad that used to be a massive hit in France. Not that extraordinary. Just sweet. That's all... Honestly I wasnt a fan of him. AT ALL. Even today. However, it reminds me of my teenage years, so yeah... Comme on dit chez nous: "souvenirs souvenirs" 😮‍💨🥺🤧
His name is pronounced rosh voazeen, btw... He's from Québec.
Thank you for your honest reaction. Blessings.

Thankful that you took a few moments to clarify things about the singer's birthplace, and for reminding me the right pronunciation of his first name. Greatly appreciated. Blessings.

@@mathieubouchet9877 because it’s unusual, and there are a lot of other things that could be done to give more variety and balance to the channel. So I’m wondering why, and why French in particular? He does a disproportionate amount of it.

Why is it too much ? The music is an world language, even if words come from another/foreign one. Don't forget english is a foreign language for many too. I think it is great to be open mind and curious for everything come from another culture and country. It is calling brotherhood (or sisterhood... 😅)
Hope you forgive my mistakes. English is not my language at all. Thx 🎉😊
