    That drill method is cool) This is what i should do in this winter with my k75 injectors.

    Good video mate, like the tip on using the drill, surprised you didn't put some tape on if before putting it in the drill.
    Got my refresh kit from Thom too 👍🏻

    Tip for removing the filter, don’t use a screw but use a small flathead screwdriver and lift up the copper ring. It will come out with filter fully intact.

    Far too fiddly for my sausage fingers. Think I'll go for the buy new injectors option!

      The parts place with the link at the beginning are selling uprated injectors with 4 nozzles for around £30 each. I'm fitting some to my K75S today.

    Nice video
    All 4 of my K100 injectors look like crap, so rusted on the outer metal bits they are actually pitted. Bought a barn find :P
    I was thinking about paiting them but I really like the drill method, will give it a try. Thanks man

    Soaking injectors in Muriatic acid for a half hour will also clean them out as well. Soaking in vinegar for a couple of days will get rid of any rust which has developed.

    Hi Ben.. have a question .. I done this yesterday and all went well, but I noticed that on one end of injectors there is like a small needle like sticking out about 1mm were the yellow caps is, one of my injectors doesn’t have that. Would that mean it’s broken?

    • @Eight20
      @Eight20  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Steven, all of my injectors had the small needle sticking out, I believe this is part of the valve in the injector. What I'd say is, does it work? If so how does the bike run? If you're concerned about it contact Thom at kpartsholland and he'll get you out either one decent one or a set.
      I hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

      @@Eight20 cheers buddy. Well I did connect it up to the battery and it worked that way , ( like you did in this video) but I must admit I have ridden the bike since I got it in April, but I must admit it I think it was a bit sluggish if I remember rightly... I will ask Tom👍🏻

      Hi Ben .. just to say I bleed the injectors all through today and they all seem to work fine..even the one with no needle sticking out.. 👍🏻. Think it will be fine when I get it up and running. I spoke to Thom, he’s waiting to here back from a friend as he’s not sure himself. I may just get one of him any way to be safe..

      @@stevie5141 funnily enough I took mine out of my K75 and 2 out of 3 had no little needle. They all seem to work correctly after powering them off the battery as you say. Waiting for my rebuild kit to arrive as well from Thom. Will run up and report back here myself :)

    hey i have nice advice for You. i made the gadget to clean injectors. Just take esp8266, flash it with espeasy, create rule which pulse open relay for 100 ms and close for 50 ms, and connect injectors to carb cleaner. that should work insane. not tested yet but on table works as i expected!
