Deals are cracka-lackin' in the US as well. I picked myself up a (almost complete) PC with a ryzen 3 1300x, asrock b350 fata1ity, 16gb ram, and a gtx 1050 2gb for $75 the other day. Quite possibly my first Tech-Yes level find I've had!

Here in Europe you wouldn't even buy the motherboard for that price, I was checking that chipset the other day and I couldn't believe the prices were so high still considering they were used for years and OCd to hell and back.

Just built a decent PC for under $100 (sorta) this week. Found a case with a motherboard and i5 6500 for $10 at a thrift shop, 16gb 3200mhz DDR4 for $20, GTX 970 for $40, power supply for $20 at Goodwill (also found $20 on the sidewalk right after, so free?), 1TB HHD for free (got two from gifted PC for another build), and 120GB SSD for $10 during Black Friday. Total spent was $100, but since the power supply was basically free (I wouldn't have found the $20 if I wasn't there anyway, right?), I could technically add like a single RGB to the case and still call it an under $100 😂
picked up a 5600X last night for $120 AUD... so many deals at the moment. it's a great upgrade from my old 1600AF!

Today I attended an auction sale for abandoned goods and I have to tell you I never thought that I would come across a score like this. The storage units was filled with old computer parts or so they thought. I bought the entire lot for $700. I did this because they didn't know what they had. They had mining rigs complete with cards in each rig. All of them 20 and 30 series cards. Not even 24 hours later and I've already tripled my money selling Off a couple of the cards. It's amazing that with so much emphasis on knowing things so many people don't know things. Mo money for me

Very true. In the UK it doesn't help that there's pretty much no such thing as used tech in 2nd hand shops, because of PAT testing rules (shops don't want to deal with them), so nothing like Goodwill here. I miss the late 80s and early 90s when used tech was easy to find in such stores. What's it like elsewhere in Europe? Can or do 2nd hand shops sell tech?
I think asking prices are mostly similar to what you can get in Europe, it's just his ability to get people to take lowball offers.

I’ve bought the following gpus in bulk here in California recently
Gtx 1660ti for $100 and
Rtx 2060super for $130
Picked up over a dozen of them total planning on putting them into systems to resell during the holiday now. Gpu prices are coming down a lot but so are the resale value for systems because of it. Great video as always 🔥

Thanks Brain for the deal updates,, about a month ago you told us about RTX 2080's going for low prices on ebay and I picked one up for 202$ as an upgrade from my GTX 1070 and its perfect, also seems since then the prices went back up to 300$.
Definitely solid deals you got. And everybody knows the refubs you sell actually work and run. So your $50 markup is a bargain for whoever buys them. That RX6600 you got is a steal. Got mine used over the summer for $170US and that was a deal at the time. I have zero regrets and no problem with the prices dropping. Below 100US is a super deal and the card is no slouch. Playing GTA 5 with it today, high settings 1080P and easily exceeding the 144hz freesync rate on my monitor. Not the hardest game to run but it is what I wanted to play. The 6600 stayed cool doing that and even had low power use. The performance for dollar to buy the card and the cost to run it is just amazing.
People still don't understand how insane it is to be getting 1070's and 1080s for cheap. Such good cards that aged very well! I have a GTX 1070 Ti myself and still enjoy using it in a second rig. Main rig has a 3090 now, but I always know what the 1070/1080s are capable of!

Another fun fact: The 1660 is the only version without a GDDR6 variant. The 1650 has GDDR5 and GDDR6 versions.

I just bought new 32gb ddr / Ryzen 5 5600 / B450 Pro / no aftermarket cooler for $350CAD around $260 usd after tax.
I say that stacks up pretty well against some of the used deals.

I just picked up a 3070ti for $400. Guy had all boxes and paperwork and receipt. Bought less then 5 months prior. He upgraded to a 4090 with i9 13th gen water cooled. The 3070ti can tell was immaculate and well taken care of. I been using for a week now and runs beautifully since I did a clean install drivers, merry Christmas to me!

When you said about getting a car for deal hunting, I assumed you meant a beater / rust bucket. 😂 That seems like a decent car. My nephew picked up a B450 MSI board, 5800X, 32GB of 3600 Corsair Vengeance Ram, and a XFX 5700XT for like $350 or $400 several months ago. That's a deal. It was mining, but the guy ran undervolted/underclocked cards, and they were well maintained.

Been keeping an eye on the used market in brissy while you were in japan. It got really good last 2 months, and knew you would have blast when you got back!
I got a RX 6800 16GB here in U.S. for $250 back in September. I'm proud I haven't spent more than that since 2004, think i paid $200 for a GeForce 6800 GT lol. Last NEW GPU i bought was a HD 4850 for $200 (i think lol) and first used GPU was a HD 7950 3GB ($150 after the first Crypto crash lol). since then I've haven't bought new 😉

1660s for 140USD is not bad at all. You always find better deals since you purchase, but it's not purpose, I guess you get alot of fun for that money.

Sadly here in the EU prices are still sky high.
Prices here are like: 120 euro for an 1650S and 150-200 euro for a 1660S
@7:40 That 970 GPU you have will coil wine like it's been kicked in the nuts... I got so angry with the coil wine I had on mine that it made it out of my case into my back yard and connected with my baseball bat.... Me hates coil wine lol

I got my 1660 super "exact model" 2 months ago for $100 bucks here n the USA. . it was spit shined. One of the cleanest gpus I'd ever seen. it remind me of what are your videos where you're explaining how minors pressure wash these things. Made me a little skeptical at first but the overall the car did look fairly decent and without the ability to try it on the spot, I took it home tested it and voila, It's still here 2 months later doing just fine.

But man, you have some smoking good deals on your area. Best I've done recently is get an rtx 2080 super for 270cad (~200usd) and a ryzen 7 2700x with prism for 80cad (~60usd)
I have to ask though, is making $50 per flip worth it?
