Hopefully its just insightful journalism is a profitable niche part of the media space and doing it well helps them secure a larger market share of it, but I wonder if the there's some value in my increased level of disconent with the military industrial complex and their plausible glee at a prolonged conflict that makes them billions?

GOD SHOULD SEND THE ALIENS TO INTERVENE.
Oh my GOD, why did GOD ALLOW these guys access to ROCKETS TO PLAY WITH----ANYWHERE ? Hand to hand combat wasn't gruesome enough, right ?

It is no secret that the one who wants war is the United States (US) Military Industrial Complex (MIC). War represents huge profits for the MIC. Do you know that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin used to be on the board of directors of one of those MIC companies? The world, therefore, regards the US as the biggest threat to peace. 99% of US citizens don’t want war. We want healthcare, housing, education, jobs and our rights respected. Even though the US is supposedly the “beacon of democracy”, we never get want we want. This is why today US citizens are less than 40% satisfied with our government. While 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, the US is the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the 1% gets the American dream, while the rest of us get the American nightmare! Can the 99% create a real US democracy?

I forgot who said it but the quote "How do you expect peace if you don't want to talk to your enemy?" seems to be the last thing on the agenda. Everyone is approaching issues from different extremes making any attempt to achieve a compromise of any sort and any matter dead on arrival. Not to mention that any attempt from a leader to even acknowledge the other sides position let alone strike a dialogue will automatically and very bizarrely imply that the leader is "weak" and thus not worthy of office. This goes both domestically and internationally.
