California needed versatube for the wildlife, earthquakes and winds
Loved the video, but watching Mark work, convinced me, i'll hire it out, and save my back for another DYI.
I went to the web site and completed the form. At first I was uncomfortable, but did it anyway. I got an effective response which led to a dialog and also a cost estimate. It went well and now I'm in the ballpark with a price and general concept. I'll probably modify the plan, but there's a good chance I'll purchase. It was all straight forward.

Very informative video. Great work. I’m building a metal building and have been looking for a instructional video that covers hat channel for vertical metal siding. You nailed it.

We love this building! Not sure why the lack of comments???? Maybe this will get them started....
If you are going to put osb and vinyl siding on the exterior, why not just build the walls out of 2x4's so that you can insulate it? You wouldn't need that many studs for that size of a building. I think you could have done the whole thing cheaper by framing it all yourself. Now if you wanted to keep the metal siding, it would probably be cheaper to use the steel tubing kit.
You now don't need to call to get estimates of how much the building will cost. On their home page, you put in the dimensions and windows and doors wanted and the price estimate is listed shown.

Anyway you can show me how you built the foundation?? Did you use 4x4 that lined up with the prepunched holes for your lag bolts??
VersaTube doesn't seem to offer the soffit brackets or the end wall soffit frame anymore. where can i find them?
Why not substitute self tapping bolts for rivets?
Can this material be use to build a tiny house on a trailer?

Mark, ever consider using Versatube for RV framing? Have you built a RV with this before? Would there be a problem with wind load with the trailer towed at 60 mph?
+Thye Wong I don't think it is designed, or would hold up to traveling. It is held together by screws rather than welds etc
What is the wall height on this Versatube building?
Got 20 ft hat bar 4 ft hat bar on 24 ×24 guess figure out how many roof hat bars wall hat bar

For a do it yourself building it sure is complicated to assemble.
