They look where the structure will be located, and their engineers add any needed support. For example, we live in a hurricane zone so they added bracing to hold up to hurricane winds.
This looks DIY doable, except you skip how you access the roof-peak cap? You ant reach that from a ladder, so how would you screw that in? I doubt the roof will support a person's weight.
I would like to install rv storage, however my concern is lengthwise the location i have gradually slopes downhill over the 30 feet ... dropping around a foot or so. Adding fill dirt to level out generates secondary issue with fence line. Thoughts?
Could you possibly use a mold to build a taller concrete pier on that end, and fill in the rest with some concrete blocks? Just a thought, but I'm not an engineer.
I want to do 2 of these for equipment on my farm. I afraid of what the tax man is going to say what they are worth. They don't seem to care what you paid they go by what it would cost to be built today.
Awesome job on the video. Very straight to the point. You should seek commissions from the manufacturer. Thank you for your time.
Great job Sir, thank you for the detailed instructions and additional ideas you gave me!
Man you have a great niarators voice, 🤙
Great job. Good & clear instructions.
My put in a smaller one this fall.
You don't show how to install the ridge cap. Seems like the most difficult step.
Well put together video. Thanks for the info.
Great video!
Great video Mark, the carport looks amazing and you did one hell of a job on the video!
Thank you, I appreciate that.

Before I can do the financing on this, will it hold up to 50 mile an hour

Good job and looks like your wife? is a trooper.

Yes, it does support your weight as long as you keep your weight on the hat channel. Follow the instructions to install the ridge cap.
Better yet, have someone else build it for you!
Now I just need the land to put one on. LOL
You already bought it didn’t you...
This doesnt look like it would be able to handle strong winds least where i live in southern cal.

Can you please tell me how much this costs?
It all depends on the size of the structure. This one is in the 4k range.
Wouldn't it be a rvport? :)
I thought the same thing, it seems like RV carport is an oxymoron
