Considering with the recent incident with the TNI-AL (Indonesian Nav), I'm hoping that the Naval Group's offer will also include a submarine rescue ship on top of the ASW warfare training and submarine doctrine.
We'll probably have to allocate another budget for submarine rescue and tender the alloted budget won't give us too much since we're asking for infrastructure, doctrine training, simulation, and other stuff
I hope they will offer Technology Transfer if the Philippine Navy indeed wanted to buy 6-8 Submarines, i strongly believe they will always choose the Scorpéne Class. I hope also the French Government will offer a Loan for 2 or more Submarine. Hopefully will get thru this Phase 2 Modernization Act of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
It would be interesting if a 'Lease' option plan would be possible for acquiring modern expensive subs? Similar to how Gripen jet has been offered via Lease before ?
I could imgine Naval Group could be offering an evolved version of the Scorpene class which may feature a re-designed sail and stern section with an X-rudder for better manuverability and a pre-swirl stators which increased performance of the submarine.
