What I do is have a small plastic box/bucket to store ice, and then I have two standard trays. When they have become ice, i empty them into the bucket as soon as I can, and then refill the trays with water
I've Ice Genie ones and it was annoying to set up. The only positive about that ice maker in my experience was it was done roughly within a couple of hours Right now I use a five compartment ice tray that I buy from Daiso and I loving it
My grandmother had the lever action metal trays before plastic was improved enough to not break when frozen. If you want to impress people, get those. Caution: they don't make them as strong as they used to.
It's just plain easier to use traditional ice trays but if you want to save space in your freezer or don't like to deal with ice trays then get one of those water dispensers that has a built-in ice maker which seems to work pretty good from what I've seen and hold a reasonable amount of ice in them. They're pricey I admit but if you're lucky you can find one available on sites like Amazon that would have them for sale for almost the same amount a bottom filled water dispenser would cost. In my experience it's been pretty convenient for me since I would fill my knockoff yeti tumbler with ice by scooping my cup in and then fill it up with water without having to refill an ice tray with water and carry it with a steady hand over the freezer.
Hi James, you mentioned the ice breaker pop in your vlog. I ordered one and got sent a knockoff of this product that doesn't work and one of the handles broke. I love this channel whether I intend on buying the product or not or even if it’s good or not it’s just so therapeutic, I have to admit like 99% of the time I don’t really intend on buying anything lol
Well, this seems like a bad idea that is poorly executed
Target has a great plastic ice tray for $4 with deep cube indents & a tray cover. Stackable with lid. Fits on top of ice bin.
13 &1/4" L x 5 & 3/16" W x 1 & 15/16" H. It's my favorite since the old quality 1's that came with older fridge/freezers with good size cubes.
It would not surprise me if this is legitimately some kind of money laundering front. Who would produce such a useless product with no testing?
@@craigjensen6853 🤣🤣🤣
For about $10 you can get the fancy silicone trays that let you make the clear spheres and large cubes if your looking for ice cube gadgets.
The definition of overengineered
Another great review, thanks for taking the bullet on that product. You are the hero we need.😂
this is the worst product i've ever seen lmao

Only one word for a great product like this: BONEYARD!!!!
What I do is have a small plastic box/bucket to store ice, and then I have two standard trays. When they have become ice, i empty them into the bucket as soon as I can, and then refill the trays with water
Everytime I see a new video you put in more editing, love it!
I've Ice Genie ones and it was annoying to set up. The only positive about that ice maker in my experience was it was done roughly within a couple of hours
Right now I use a five compartment ice tray that I buy from Daiso and I loving it
I love watching all your videos man, even though I don’t ever buy any of these products. Great content!
I got some basic silicone ice cube trays for $3 each. They work great and come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
My grandmother had the lever action metal trays before plastic was improved enough to not break when frozen. If you want to impress people, get those. Caution: they don't make them as strong as they used to.
We need that thing about as much as a tire pump that just changes the air in a perfectly inflated tire. Thanks, James!
This makes me grateful for the automatic ice maker in my fridge. If we didn’t have it I would still be using the ice trays from the dollar store.
Thank you for the quality review great job
Hi James, you mentioned the ice breaker pop in your vlog. I ordered one and got sent a knockoff of this product that doesn't work and one of the handles broke. They do send replacement handles so it seems they anticipated them breaking. Just be aware of this if ordering one. It looked great when you tried it but the knockoff is trash.
Sometimes the old ways are the best. Keep on keeping on!
Bailey running off with the 1 ice cube that fell on the floor! Lol! She's too cute.
The editing in this video is amazing!
Love the Bailey cameo appearance.
My guy!! Keep em Coming man. Loving your reviews and videos!
Sometimes the simple approach really is the best approach.
Good lord that was entertaining 😂 I loved your incredulity
Great present for my mother in law!
thanks James - 1 redeeming quality of you buying it and trying it out is that it saved me even thinking about buying this literal piece of junk. again my budget thanks you 😊
