We know now why some of the folk singers made it big in the 60's. This era of Martins is just sounding better and better as time goes by.
A lot of the early 60s Martins have factory documented German Spruce tops. Great guitars

I have a '72 D-18 (near mint and still in original case). This one is 11 years older. But man the old Martin's from that era just sing.
