2 of the best and most musical guitar players in the world! I hope you guys make a duo collaboration being serious with your arrangements and excursions! Once upon a time we had Bireli and Sylvain! Sadly Sylvain's life was tragically cut short! A tribute to their collaboration would set the guitar world on fire! Kudos! Much love and Respect!
When I was a newly fertilized egg I really enjoyed playing stuff like this. Now that I'm a zygote it's really nostalgic to look back on it. Thanks for this trip down memory lane.
0:34 there is a blink and you will almost miss it moment but the brief look of smug sanctimonious self-satisfaction on Lucas's face should win an award.
I'm an old arse,in my sixties now, from Liverpool. I'm a really enthusiastic and equally poor technically guitar player. I've tried,, many times with many degrees of failure , getting my head around music theory. THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST THING I'VE SEEN.
This was both hilarious and jaw-dropping at the same time! Simply just phenomenal playing! This video is a breath of fresh air, and will surely become a "must-see" video in the guitar community. For years to come!
My grandfather played all these variations on the Alpine Horn,he was 88 years old and drunk at the time..he remembered me whistling the melody some 45 years earlier.
Whilst being in a coma last year my brother placed a guitar into my lifeless arms and to his amazement I played all those versions plus many more complex ones. I actually won a Grammy for that.
Feels like running from the subway through the elevator to the mall then the restaurant, finally the jazz club, hearing different versions of the same tune in each.

That was super fun! My favorite of the different variants might have been the tremelo, but then that jam duet at the end was really great. Would love a full video of just that.
What a great combination of music education, deadpan humour and SO much beautiful guitar playing. Thank you both! Putting the text on the screen to show what you were doing with the alternative chords was great for some extra insight.
AI is always so positive and gushing. Even for a guy who uses a silly plastic pick wrapped around his thumb. Real finger style guitarists don't use such a device. They use their actual fingers.
@@kwimms who gives a flying f**k what they use if they play really well and it sounds great? I don't use a capo, but I don't go around denigrating people that do.
Gjorde min dag!!! Så gött, eftersom klockan är över 24 med så kan jag somna gott och veta att jag kommer vakna till en magiskt bra dag. Kommer se denna många gånger.
This is the very first song I learned to play and sing on guitar over 40 years ago. Fun fact: "Norwegian Wood' is a euphemism for 'Knowing she would." If you relisten to the lyrics, it makes total sense. It's a song about an affair Lennon almost had.
"Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday... I talk a good English!" 😂 Well done, gentlemen. Your playing is superb and your English is better than most. 😁🎵🎶
Rick Beato is great, but I think I understood/heard/learned more about all those modes from you guys in just five minutes. What a great way, too, to show what a great song it is. Thanks.
Legendary senses of humour paired with Awesome Variations😂💜,,, please Serve Up more GuitarNerd sessions!! I've just subscribed to Emil's channel! Kindest Thanks 🎶Mississippi Delta🎶
Yes! I LOVE Emil Ernebro! I actually have recordings of him playing two xmas songs from some years ago that are permanent songs in my xmas music playlist. The two of you together is perfection!
The FUN-meter’s peaking!! 😆🤝 Always incredibly fun Lucas🎶🍻
Indeed!!

These are great. I remember playing all of these variations the 1st time I ever picked up a guitar about 10 minutes ago. So much fun.
Haha🤣🍻
Sounds like something Jacob Collier would say if he was part of this video 😁
Your guitar skills are a lot more impressive than your memory 😂
I did the same but I don't remember it.
@@matuskothai YESSS The roasts are deserved.
When I was a newly fertilized egg I really enjoyed playing stuff like this. Now that I'm a zygote it's really nostalgic to look back on it. Thanks for this trip down memory lane.
This is why the bassist and the drummer are at the pub when you have a rehearsal with two guitarists in the band.
Unless it's victor wooten Playing Norwegian wood.
... not if you hate your other guitarist.. little trick i picked up early 😂
They would still be packing up their gear at this point and loading it into the van.
This was amazing. I teach guitar to underprivileged 1st grade students and these little pieces will be a nice warmup for them. Thanks
Please. I teach guitar to blind black children living in the ghetto... they do this with their toes while begging in the streets.
Super easy tab for beginners!
😂
LOL, yeah ... ALT video title: "Learn every possible variation of Norwegian Wood in 6 Minutes"
As a beginner, adding the music theory behind the variations make is so much easier. Once again, as a beginner who knew nothing about 6 minutes ago.
can't wait for your upload showing the advanced stuff!
😂
"We also mess up" - only with the script, not with guitar notes
Brilliant
maybe they can't bring themselves to share their guitar bloopers
Had me smiling the whole video. Incredible mastery of the instrument from the both of you.
smiling? I was cracking up!
Does humor belong in music? Yesss. As FZ said;-)
Lucas Brar video?? Instant watch. Refreshing that it’s something we all can play 😂
You both make this world a better place.
0:34 there is a blink and you will almost miss it moment but the brief look of smug sanctimonious self-satisfaction on Lucas's face should win an award.
"My nephew who is 3 years old played that yesterday". . .best burn of the bunch.
when he goes “yeah that was really simple”… i burst out laughing in a public place and people
think im crazy now.
This is some of the funniest comedy I've ever experienced! Comedy for musicians.
And this is why music makes the world a better place. Fabulous guys!!
Wow!
I'm an old arse,in my sixties now, from Liverpool. I'm a really enthusiastic and equally poor technically guitar player. I've tried,, many times with many degrees of failure , getting my head around music theory. THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST THING I'VE SEEN.
I´m glad to see you here again Lucas!
Two masters having fun... ❤❤❤
This was both hilarious and jaw-dropping at the same time! Simply just phenomenal playing! This video is a breath of fresh air, and will surely become a "must-see" video in the guitar community. For years to come!
Awesome❣
Must not see... just more guitar show-offs.
Just brilliant guys. Tremendous lesson of virtuosism. 👏👏👏👏👍👍
HE'S BACKK......after 4 months....MY FAVORITE GUITARIST IS BACKK
Same. I will stay subbed and wait for as long as it takes for him to release new videos. I just love them all so much hahah
I had the biggest smile I ever had... bigger than listing to Norwegian Wood. So, yeah... WOW!
My grandfather played all these variations on the Alpine Horn,he was 88 years old and drunk at the time..he remembered me whistling the melody some 45 years earlier.
I like how this sort of video just shows how much you change a progression to get what you want, or maybe what you dont need change
Två av Sveriges bästa gitarrister i samma video...vilken fröjd!
This video brought me joy!
The eyeroll at 1.28 for the beginners tab is absolute gold.
The outro was fire! Loved this whole video!
Super easy and for my 3 year old nephew- gents already by the 2nd version it was beyond. Both of you are wonderful musicians. Thank you both😊
Lucas' tone is AMAZINGLY smooth like butter.
This looks and sounds like a modern Meeting of the Spirits! Now I desperately want to see you guys in a concert!
The "full chromatic descending line" was nasty.
So good! I watched it right away a second time and played along adapting it on-the-go for ukulele!
Impressive mastery of the guitar. Congratulations
I had been looking for an easy variation of this song for my highly trained schnauzer. Thanks again!
That’s just all the worlds music theory and years of practice condensed in 6 minutes… and you make it look so easy! Well done guys! Gratis! 😅

You are absolutely insane I love it. The ??? section sounded like chromatic clusters yayyy
Best fastest jazzfollery course online!
not only was that a master class in dissection, the back n forth jibes n facial expressions were hilarious. great job
ill be damned thats just two maestros --------legendary---------
I love all the versions!

Made my morning 😂Some beautiful reharms 💪❤️ …subbed!
Love listening to different ideas with a really familiar melody underpinning it!
Incredible, thank you 🙏
I'm a trained guitarist and do it for a living. And I also have ADHD. This video is EXACTLY made for me. I LOVE it thanks so much😄
You guys rock ! 🤘🏼
I loved the fingertsyle version by the way, that sounded awesome. Then again, so did every one of your variations !
This is the very first song I learned to play and sing on guitar over 40 years ago.
Fun fact: "Norwegian Wood' is a euphemism for 'Knowing she would." If you relisten to the lyrics, it makes total sense. It's a song about an affair Lennon almost had.
This is a really feel good video, amazing playing!😊
Genius!!! jajajajaja!!!! teaching and hilarating!!!!
3:00 parallel minor key might be obvious but still *chef kiss*
Woah.... i gotta learn that
This guitar geekery is next level.
👏 Bravo!
When you two get together, the vibe is just contagious. You both exude the joy for music, thanks for sharing it with us
Lucas and Emil together, this is the best
🤗🥰👏👏👏Epic collaboration! And final conclusion so funny! But the road to this conclusion is unforgettable! 😊
A lovely concept - keep it coming
"Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday... I talk a good English!" 😂
Well done, gentlemen. Your playing is superb and your English is better than most. 😁🎵🎶
It's kind of amazing how it just keeps turning into something that sounds like a great holiday song
Got a good chuckle out of me when you lost all boundaries.
Insane amount of creativity!
Great fun, Guys! So interesting. And the 'best' one was....... the first one
HES BACK OMG YES😭😭😭
So beautiful. We missed you.
Good fun! Thank you ... R (Australia)
That: ”Men asså det är helt otroligt” got me good lol
Would take me 9 months of weekly guitar lessons to learn all the variations. 6 minute video. I'm amazed. All very musical, even the atonal version.
Rick Beato is great, but I think I understood/heard/learned more about all those modes from you guys in just five minutes. What a great way, too, to show what a great song it is. Thanks.
So much musicality, so much talent! ❤
I loved each version but the “inversion” take was my fav! Nice vid gents.
oh, your video make me happy.....thank you...❤❤
That was incredible! I totally enjoyed this
Legendary senses of humour paired with Awesome Variations😂💜,,, please Serve Up more GuitarNerd sessions!! I've just subscribed to Emil's channel! Kindest Thanks 🎶Mississippi Delta🎶
Fantastic! Bravo! I particularly like the minor key version and the swing-y last one.
So, so cool! Absolutely entertaining. Thankyou so much Lucas and Emil. So glad you are still producing this high quality content.
It's nice to see you again dude
Watching lucas reminds me that some people are so gifted. amazing playing and what a fun video.
That was wonderful! You’re both amazing artists!
Brothers in sound and harmony. Bravo!
and I was simply mesmerized by the nylon/steel blend
You two have such great chemistry. Always happy to see this collaboration.
Great jam session! I love the facial expressions!
long time no see Lucas! welcome back!
This is so heart warming. Thanks 🎉
Wooohooo, please come to Belgrade on annual jazz festival next year! You both are honey for the ears, guys!!
Thanks
Right! I’m now subscribed!
If you didn't hang around for the jam at the end, you missed out. Nicely done with the bloopers. Good work guys :)
This made my heart swell with joy. The variations were fascinating, and the banter was flat-out HILARIOUS 😂
The second inversion and the one Emil did after saying "My 3 yr old nephew ..." were my favorite. Finger picking was good too.
Yes! I LOVE Emil Ernebro! I actually have recordings of him playing two xmas songs from some years ago that are permanent songs in my xmas music playlist. The two of you together is perfection!
I highly enjoyed this! My nephew, who is 3 years old, just played that yesterday.
Love this. Fantastic playing of wonderful song.
Back with a bang and you brought a buddy!
dude this is awesome seeing the two of you together haha
