From crossing insane roads and bridges to visiting homes, learning about hair traditions, and trying apricot brandy, this journey showcases a side of Pakistan rarely seen.
Coming from a truly multicultural country, I can't imagine living anywhere that doesn't celebrate differences, and it was a real pleasure to see this side of Pakistan. A side I needed to learn about. Long may it continue.

These kalash people are the descendents of Alexander the great when he crossed Pakistan through afghan side for India,it was the famous route to cross to India at that time,as Pakistan and India were one country along with Bangladesh

I felt bad when you kinda invaded that house where the girl apparently seemed disturbed and uncomfortable but due to being too nice, she didn’t tell you to leave. This is an innocent minority community that tolerate disturbing behaviors with great patience. We also need to be respectful and responsible towards them and ask for their permission, only if they are 100% comfortable then we should go. I hope my comment is read by all those who are planning to visit there. Thanks
I was with a local man from that village and he was aware of my visit and had already pre planned it. If you want to visit villages in this way please do as I do and ask before you wander around..and as for your judgement, the lady was shy and this behaviour is normal
@@carriepatsalis thank you for clarifying. My judgement was based on a couple of complaints on social media from the people of Kalash. The lady that was complaining, said that a lot of tourists do not respect their boundaries.
I am from Pakistan too, although not Kalashi, but I feel their concern and believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
I must also admit that their boundaries are mostly invaded by Pakistani due to the lack of education and awareness unfortunately. We as nation are a century behind from what is called “A civilized nation “

Apparently they are descendants of Greek armies when Alexander the Great arrived in the Subcontinent. Like how the Mongol army descendants ended up in Afghanistan.
Basically these people are European, these people that left the Alexander karawan were injured army personnel, they were unable to accompany the Alexander for India because of there wounds,a short history of kalash people,

The ancestors of these people were Europeans that's why they have blond hairs or blue/green eyes, looks so beautiful. It's amazing to see the diversity one country can have.

I'm from Pakistan and I thought Kailashi people were Muslims But your video showed me they're not and they drink alcohol While alcohol is strictly forbidden in Islam.. May God guide them❤ The good thing is that many Preachers are now going there to preach Islam As a result many Kalashi people have accepted Islam and several mosques have started to be built It's truly wonderful ✨
